    This was great, thank you! I started Noom about a month ago to lose a last little bit of weight that I need to. The information on daily calories helped me a lot!

      Meagan, I’m so happy to hear that noom worked for what you needed!! Glad I could help explain the calories 💕💕

    I weigh myself every day and it doesn’t stress me out. I see it as what I need to fix about the day before; like how much I ate and if I exercised or not. I know weight fluctuates day to day but overall weighing myself daily isn’t ever an issue.

      Nikky I am so glad you have that relationship with the scale 😀 You are absolutely correct , weight fluctuates for soooo many reasons. Thank you for your insight ❤️‍🔥

      You are not normal.weighing daily is a surefire way to bad self esteem and self doubt ...
      SMART people hardly weigh themselves. They measure their weight by pictures or how clothes fits...

      @@Nicolehoskens i haven't, i was considering it. The cost isn't the issue, it's that my goal was to lose 40 pounds in 9 months and after i input more information the timeframe decreased to 3 months. Doesn't seem healthy or likely to lose weight that fast without serious energy expenditure and a massive caloric deficit. However, I'm still on the fence

    • @Nicolehoskens
      @Nicolehoskens  Před 2 lety +1

      Oh my goodness! Yea I think your on the right track of thinking , sounds like you are trying to find the healthiest way to your goal. I agree ,3 months would be very stressful for your body and metabolism. I’m cheering you on ! If there are any other vids you want explanations on , let me know ☺️

      @@Nicolehoskens i read my last comment and was like, thats not what i said lol *edited. But yeah, I've watched a lot of channels in the same industry as your own. There are a few videos that have yet to be done correctly among your fellow youtubers. When i have time, I'll dm you a few ideas on IG.

    I will say I’ve been very happy with the app so far. I agree with some things you said but I will say the father you go with Noom the more they do explain the why’s of the diet.
    Also, they give you more calories everyday as you move as well. I am not a dietician whatsoever but I do struggle with weight loss and this is the very first “diet” I’ve ever tried that is actually working for me. I’d love to know what you suggest (I know you said to see a doctor or dietician) for the people like me who can’t seem to lose the weight.

    • @Nicolehoskens
      @Nicolehoskens  Před rokem

      Carly thank you so much for this perspective! I’m glad this is working for you. I try to focus more on how to eat and move for longevity of life and an improved quality of life and try to make that the focus rather than weight loss. I’m sure I will incorporate some of those tips more so throughout future videos 💕 keep up the great work improving your health!

    Thank you for this honest review! With it asking you to weigh yourself everyday, is it something that you have to do for the program, like will it require you or are you able to just choose not to do it?

    • @Nicolehoskens
      @Nicolehoskens  Před 2 lety

      It is not enforced , you can continue to use the app :) they just keep reminding you lol.

    It doesnt stress me to weight myself daily at all. If I do I stay more aware of the choices I make, if I don't I tend to be out of sight out of mind and kind of go off the rails ;)

      @RuthRSW Před 2 lety

      @@Nicolehoskens it doesnt stress me out, but if I dont weight myself I tend to just forget that if I over eat, dont move etc. I start gaining weight. It is helpful for me for sure! keeps me realistic instead of thinking I am still 20 and can eat what I want without negative effects ;)

      @@RuthRSW totally understand! I thought the same thing at 20. I’m glad you have something that is working for you ❤️ super wild thing that happened to me is after I stopped weighing myself after a few years I realized I was heavier but smaller clothing size due to muscle and all that jazz. But if you were to tell 20 yr Nicole how much I weigh now I would be shook. Hahahaha thank you for sharing your perspective, I really enjoy hearing how other people view the scale and weight 💕 have a fabulous day

    You weigh what you weigh weather you get on the scale or not so you might as well be aware what’s happening with your body.

    • @Nicolehoskens
      @Nicolehoskens  Před 2 lety

      Totally fair perspective. I would also argue sometimes the cons out Weigh the pros of knowing your weight. We are learning BMI really isn’t a good indicator of health, people have a skewed concept on what a “healthy” weight is, a lot of people put a lot of power into what the scale says, all of these can lead to unhealthy food choices and/or poor mental health. If you on the scale does not have health consequences then I have no problem with it 😊 in my experience I’ve seen a lot more cons than pros.
