    I will share how the app works, and what you actually do on Noom and my results for the first 14 days. Noom is not a diet, it’s not a weight loss program and I was so blown away from that, because I defiantly have battled a diet mentality. Little things have gone through my mind that what I’m doing is not a diet, and I always go back to certain foods that are deemed bad. Noom teaches us that eating any kind of food is permissible.
    Where Noom differs from other apps, however, is its focus on making behavioral changes surrounding dieting and weight loss. The app also prompts you to read tidbits on healthy habits.
    The app may sound kind of tedious (who has time to read and take quizzes throughout the day?), but it could be the key to successful, sustained weight loss.
    The education elements that the app includes, like how it teaches you about calorie reduction and carbohydrate intake, as well as how to increase physical activity, is really helpful and crucial information if you want to lose weight in a sustainable way.
    It also has the ability to provide support and feedback from others doing the program-all 45 million of them. And it’s not just message boards or automated blurbs: You can actually talk to others in a group chat in real-time.

    Always interesting to hear another perspective! Actually your perspective is very close to mine I think. I've done two reviews of Noom on my channel, one right after I finished the trial and was not happy and one after I joined back. I love my one-on-one coach and she definitely challenges me but, like you, I would like to have more time to talk to her. My group coach is also awesome but my group is really large and only about six of us ever post.
    In my original trial, all I had was the Noom guides, and I am convinced they are robots. As soon as I came back the second time and got a one-on-one coach, I was pleased. I have lost around 12 lb this summer since I joined.

    Hello, I just found you looking thru CZcams. I’ve actually been on Noom for a few months. I was doing good BUT have gotten off track. My hubby died & I have 3 Special Needs guys, that we adopted at home. I’m trying to get back into the NOOM mindset. I’m doing okay but seem to be sabotaging myself often. Ugh!! Everyday is a new start! Maybe tomorrow will work out better with my eating!đŸ€ȘđŸ€ȘđŸ€ȘđŸ€Ș

      Hey how are you doing? Sorry for your loss I hope you have lots of support and good people around you. Im 42 i have 7 kids. 2 of them with special needs and another with a serious heart condition that sadly cannot be fixed. Stressful most days and very challenging. ❀ just wanted to send you a virtual đŸ€— one special needs mum to another xxx

      Still on the program but loosely. I’ve had so much going on. I haven’t had much more weight loss success than this update I’ve went up and down but it’s been MY fault! If I followed my calories and did it diligently I wouldn’t be bouncing back and forth

    Are you still doing videos. I just found your Noom review from a year ago when I started. I’m trying to figure out how I can switch over to maintenance or the free section so I can keep all my saved lessons but still be able to use the app to log my weight each day plus my meals.

      No I haven’t done NS since May 2020 with the exception of one week in January to show a kit for some who were asking. I did a video recently explaining why I wanted to eat for myself. It’s just something I’ve learned to do now so I can and want to. I like Noom so far. 🙂

      @@KathrynMay okay thanks. For some reason I haven't been getting notifications for your videos and saw this one today when I was looking at something else on CZcams. I had watched the one where you got that kit and thought you were starting back. Definitely keep Noom in mind. My loss is slowing with NS, but it's still working great for my husband. He's lost 32 lbs since Jan 11th. So I don't really want to change yet on him. I know he won't do the Noom, since he hasn't used the Numi app since about week 2. đŸ€Ł

    So, hopefully, you'll report back to show us your results after some months, or even years. I think most viewers would want to know *does Noom work* and I don't think three weeks is enough for us to assess that.

      I am not using noom anymore as a paid subscription. I learned what I needed and moved on. Noom wasn't much different than what I was already doing and I feel like I already knew the "psychology" behind why we gain wait etc. I am losing weight on my own and sustaining!

    I’m on week 7 of Noom and I’m seeing results. The best weight loss program I’ve ever done. Just FYI, I think you meant chia seeds (cheeyuh) not chai. Chai is a spiced tea, chia is a seed.🙂

      Hey there. I post weekly. I have not been doing Noom at all since I posted this video. I did it merely to be able to share personal experience with my viewers. I feel like the articles were sort of helpful but that I already knew kind of the right way to eat.

    I have been on Noom since the end of May. I lost 4 pounds right away and quickly gained it back. I keep losing and gaining the same three or four pounds. Essentially there is zero coaching. I realize some of the lack of success is my own doing but there is no help when you hit a roadblock. Definitely not worth the money.

      Yes, I totally agree. And the mindset training that they give us more science based mindset, which can be good but I don’t believe it’s actually very helpful for beginners who are just trying to transform their behaviors. I also struggled with the lack of actual coaching. I have figured out a thing or two since I posted this video and thankfully I have gotten my mindset right and was able to lose the way that I needed to lose and keep it off. I now help women to do the same thing!
