S Jaishankar Speaks About Foreign Policy, China Conflict & Covid Crisis | India Today Conclave South

- Speaking at the India Today Conclave South 2021, Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar discussed India's foreign policy accomplishments under his watch, the Covid-19 crisis and the recent border conflict with China. He also said that the future of the country is secure under the BJP-led government’s watch. Jaishankar listed several reasons for his argument including the central leadership’s focus on governance, aspiration, economy and security. He highlighted several contributions of the BJP-led central government over the past six years, including efforts that went into containing the deadly Covid-19 pandemic and tackling the border conflict with China. When asked if the BJP will be able to expand its footprint in Tamil Nadu, Jaishankar seemed optimistic, citing the contributions of the party towards the growth and aspirations of the nation. Very interesting and informative conversation. I could see the wisdom of Indian PM in selecting Dr Jaishankar as Foreign Minister. What a brilliant guy. As for Rahul in my view he needs a lot to learn about interviewing. He may have read a lot, I don't doubt, but his tone needs to be polite. If I would have been there on some issues before answering would have asked Rahul, what he think. Overall, I Salute both.
