As a life long forest fan, going to wembley and watching my team get promoted was incredible and the best day of my life. They were relegated when i was 1 and a half, so its good to finally watch them in the prem.

Thogden, I would recommend when going through things like this don’t do it in alphabetical order, but in the order of the teams for example 24th, 23rd, 22nd
I know I'm late but I do have a suggestion.
•At the beginning of the season: DO WHAT YOU SAID IN THE COMMENT
•At the end of the season (or maybe even the middle of the season): GO THROUGH EACH TEAM IN ALPHEBETICAL ORDER
NOTTINGHAM FOREST: (LONG BUT CAN NOT BE DONE QUICKLY) The transformation of the club that the season which started under Chris Hughton and finished under Steve Cooper is one of the greatest football stories you will ever see. And with Chris Hughton's experience, good things were expected, but they never materialised. Under him, the players looked lost and shackled to his 'don't lose' strategy(we lost more). Hughton also said that Brennan Johnson was not ready for the championship (he got that wrong)
Before I get to Cooper a lot of praise has to be given to our C.E.O Dane Murphy, The American who arrived late in the summer from Barnsley and our owner Mr Evangelos Marinakis listened and allowed him to change the off-field operations, and his first act was to sack Hughton.
Cooper came in and removed the shackles and allowed the team to play. He also did something very important he embraced the history of the club, previous managers were either scared of it or in a few cases wanted to banish it (Joe Kinnear & Gary Megson)
Steve Cooper had the same players Hughton had but did something else he made the club a family. There was no hierarchy, it was one team together(even if you were not playing) and the change was amazing and we fans got our club back.
Then January came and the window and that was a change too, normally a dozen unknowns would arrive but instead, 5 quality signings came and an early start, the best being the arrival of Steve Cook(the best free signing) who became part of the GWN(Great Wall of Nottingham) with Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna.
The season really took off with the comeback win at Bristol City and despite a few hiccups along the way, there were NEVER two bad games in a row. By the time of the playoff final Cooper had been at the club just 250 days
Chris Hughton is an excellent manager he worked wonders at Brighton absolutely solid in the back and a poacher in Murray up front.
Maybe it was the wrong team for him to be fair you didn't have the long ball midfielder or big man striker either.
The only transformation that was made was blitz style attacking football that punished adventurous attacking teams. I think Cooper will be put of his depth in the Premier League.
Most promotion progressive football teams barring Leeds all get mauled in the Premier League due to the huge jump in CB and FB quality. Having to go against VVD, Dunk, Dias, Guehi, Coady, Laporte will be a huge challenge and necessary investment is critical because trust me you are going to need to have a scary defense to survive and have to be willing to park the bus alot of games.
@@felixsoheili1154 Yes, that was the case previously but sadly I think Chris Hughton and his style of management fall into the category of an old-style coach. Chris Hughton will not be judged on just the first seven games of last season, but on his 53 games at Forest with a record of: (W: 14 D: 17 L: 22 and had a win rate of: 26.4%. Modest data but the play was dreadful.
What is also disappointing is that the squad was rated as a high quality which had a mix of very exciting home grown academy products and seasoned professionals. But what came clear was the team actually went backwards under him and the mood of the club was toxic, that was not helped by the then C.E.O of the club Ioannis Vrentzos who came with the owner but just did everything badly and alienated the fans.
Then look how the team changed first under first-team coach Steven Reid for 1 game and then the remainder of the season with Steve Cooper, who had the same players(with additions in January) but they were a different more exciting, back to what was expected team.
@@nichemphill8321 I think that's a fair assessment I will always be a big fan of Chris Hughton as a BHAFC fan he stabilized the ship in the prem that allowed us to become more progressive but good luck to you guys next year.

Jack Colback (32) is known to be a central Midfielder, but under Steve Cooper, at Forest who had this philosophy of Next Man Up he was moved to the alien position of Left-Wing Back due to an injury to Max Lowe, and it was a revelation. And in that role, he scored some special goals this season including against QPR and that stunner at home to WBA.

@@bilby2262 that would also be could to see but league 1 is more unpredictable you’ve got old giants like ,Bolton , Wigan Athletic, Sunderland , Rotherham and the teams who shocked everyone
Plymouth Argyle, Accrington Stanley , Cambridge United, whereas the Scottish league is a two horse race between Rangers and Celtic and you have teams like Hearts , Hibernian and St Johnstone would are relegation battle in the prem level

As a derby fan I want too say, we as a club are proud of our players, we have had such poor ownership over these past 2 maybe even 3 years and now he’s gone and we have our new owner I think we can bounce back and challenge for promotion in championship soon. Love the vids, your amazing 🙂

we (stoke) need a consistent team because if you’ve noticed we have been up 1-0 in many of games and lost 2-1 and everything fell apart when souttar got injured and we only lost by more then 2 goals twice against 2 good teams in fulham and middlesborough

It's been a good season for blackburn for multiple reasons, yes we bottled the play offs position we had, but there's alot of players in our team who have improved and had a good season, and next season is something to look forward to as a Blackburn fan because we are getting a new manager, we've got a new board of director Gregg Broughton who brought up players like James Maddison and Ben Chilwell, and I think Brereton Diaz will be staying so watch out for Blackburn Rovers 🔵⚪

Championship is the hardest league to predict on earth.. its a real dogfight in there every year. Some teams look to easily secure promotion when played 30 but end up ranked 13 when played 46 for example, madness.

Stokes issue is they have debts to pay off still so they can’t buy ‘star players’, also in the past two seasons our best players all got injured throughout the winter months for a long time, it’s so frustrating to have a season ruined cus of injuries

im an albion fan and ill tell you, grant did not have a good season. 18 goals seems good but hes just anonymous in every game. the issue is that he was still our POTS. says a lot about the rest of our squad

We were unlucky After Christmas going 9 games without a win. Perhaps it is squad depth. We also need a striker that can score double digits a season. And the defence was dodgy at times conceding goals that were preventable.
Thing is with hull they have got very great defense but the attack is lacking and we always pass backwards sayyadmanesh would be a good signing aand ozil is a very big rumour that we might get him ( i am a hull city fan overall i think we did well like beating bournemouth) next season is big we need some money spent on attackers and midfielders

Barnsley fan here it all went wrong when valerian Ishmael left and certain members on the board had more of a say brought in a bad manager took too long to get rid of him which created a loosing mentality. When they got rid of him they brought in another foreign manager that knew nothing about English football and he gave up pretty fast. Also we signed no experienced players but the thing that sent us down was crap managers. The members of the board that were also crap have been outed and replaced so a bit more positive for next season

The main problem Swansea had was consistency. We'd go from playing amazingly one game to looking absolutely awful the next. Even in a number of games, we looked like a completely different team in each half. First half we would be woeful next half we would be absolutely outstanding. Our defence also let us down a bit but it looks like we're bringing in some solid players to fix that.
If we can play at our best for most of next season we'll easily make the playoffs. If we remain inconsistent then top half is the best we'll do.

Your we're very harsh about Morrisons performance as Cardiff manager. He done brilliantly in the January transfer window and we looked truly dead and buried at that time too. We finished the season poorly but he's clearing all the deadwood out of the club and for the first time in a while there's a breath of fresh air in the club

Nottm Forest tho, Steve Cooper had done an incredible job by bringing them from bottom of the championship to Promotion to Premier league for the first time in 23 years, incredible!
They are going to need to beef up defensively otherwise they will go down as fast as Norwich. They will get a rude awakening when the world's best CBs start going after their smaller sized attacking players.
I reckon Forest can stay up and have a great first season back, yes they need to sign a few players (aslong as they sign the right players in the positions that need adressing and not do a Fulham in 18/19) amd they should be fine
