Frontier OS18 Sawmill First Year Maintenance and Cleaning

First maintenance after one year! After some heavy use, the muffler heat shield has melted through the plastic blade guard. Frontier replaced the parts and sent me a much improved heat shield to install. Also covered is replacing the drive belt, changing the oil, inspecting the bearings, rebuilding the blade guides, checking the blade tracking plus a thorough cleaning and inspection before putting it back to work. I've made a few modifications to suit my particular needs and I'm looking forward to more years of service from it.

another great video! what is that attachment to the impact wrench that keeps those pulleys from spinning?

That’s a bearing / pulley puller. Very handy!
