- Mini Sim Flags for your sim racing rig. Very simple projects, single part print. Based on 5x5 25bit aRGB LED matrix.
I managed to connect in series 2 flags x25 LEDs, 16LED Rev Display and Shift Light with 7LEDs directly powered from the Arduino 5V - works great!
Everything of course is controlled with SimHub and is setup as aRGB LED array.
STLs to print, SimHub LED Profile can be found here:

well done Sir,..
Nicely done my friend
Thanks mate! Wish i made this before, it costs nothing 🤪
Where did you get the tachometer?
Hi I have the raceflag box and the gt3pro button box that has the same stuff on it as the raceflag. But I can’t seem to get them both going
Is there something I have to do in simhum
As all of it will work BUT after 3 minutes the gt3pro will stop working do you know what I would have to do. You can see what I have over on my channel please help if you can as you can never have too much leds 😂✊💯👌 love your setup that’s what made me go but the flag boxes 👌
Thanks! I am not familiar with both devices but simhub has limitations, maybe it thinks it is the same device? I had lot of issues with arduinos disconnecting, most of the time I change the arduino itself as their serial chip tends to break over time. Also i put everything on powered USB hub or directly on motherboard. Also you can use software to cleanup you unused devices, helped me resolve a lot of issues (device cleanup tool): www.uwe-sieber.de/misc_tools_e.html
G'day mate.... One awesome rig you have.. Can you tell me how to separate the flags... As in only spotter on left flag display on and only spotter on the right flag display. Can't seem to figure it out...? And not have them present on both displays... 👍🏻
Thanks mate! Regrettably I have no idea - all the games I play do not support flags. These ones I setup as RGB strips, not matrix (the other menu) so they are controlled separately and I select conditions for every display. I think you can do the same - use custom conditions for left right and split the displays.
For that, you will need to apply "matrixes" note, I did mine with an 8x8 LED board and I set my board up trough the RGB Matrix section in arduino. But basically, I have 3 Flag display and they all have their own matrix (you can select a matric number for each arduino board). After that, its super simple. All you need to do is set up the effect you want per matrix (Ex: Gear on matrix 0, Spotter on matrix 1 & 2 and Flag display on matrix 2 only would = Gear on 1 diaplay, spotter on 2 displays (left and right can also be set in settings) and then flags would display on a single one!
@@gregotacos all good and thanks mate... I worked it out.. All three flag displays are running beautifully... 👍🏻
