I used it with NLR v# and was very happy, but the Motion+ has flaws and was bad investment, I regret buying it and not going for the system I replaced it with in the first place as price is more or less the same :/

I had the NLR M+ and it was not worth the money. They cannot connect directly to console, you need a PC to read the telemetry over the network from the XBox and drive your motion platform.

There is a Fanatec variant of the same you did somewhere on my channel ;) I moved to wireless wheels lately so this was really needed, I expected to work with the original QR but turned out utterly is not 100% the same…

Part 2 is not in my immediate plans. Shot it last year, but busy with new projects so it got left behind… maybe one day will find the time to finish it, but who knows

Hi! I have no experience with sim tools, I use SRS. In every software that uses EA WRC telemetry i configure the game with the built in tools (Simhub, NLR racing software, SRS) rather than using port forwarding. Port forwarding did not work for me, but each software with whatever config it injects in the game worked perfectly in parallel with the other ones.

No idea if you will manage to open the original connector. It could be easier to make a new 3D printed one, but worth trying as yours is broken either way…

You mean the stepper motors? I put rubber dampers below the profile holding them, 50x20mm. This decouples the belt tensioner from the seat rails and is waaaay quieter… Gearboxes are noisy but the metal on metal connection between belt tensioner and rails amplifies them a lot.

@@MrEyelwatch depends on the game. Some of them do not have triple support so they stretch the image - Dirt Rally 2 pictured here does just that.

There is no part 2 😂 Here is a video, the Mega is quiet but when u crash all the weight if the rig makes the noise. No, haven’t tried myself but they are not in the same category. RS Mega+ is great for this price and is totally worth it. If you can afford D-Box it is supposedly much better, but if you can’t - the RS is your way to go. Qubic actuayors are also very good option but D-box price…

@@quackhouseproductions5572 propriatary algorithm, software, faster response and much better haptics (based on what i read). Also it is implemented in games presumably differently on deeper level thus giving you overall better feel. This being said i am pretty satisfied with the RSM+, but would definitely be curious to test a d-box setup. I personally would buy one as I simply cannot afford it ;)
