- Universal* Interface Adapter working seamlessly with Fanatec Wheelbase using it's internal shifter protocol. It supports any switch based sim racing shifter. Supports up to 8 gears for H-Pattern mode, also will work with Sequential shifters with the prototype schematics provided in the documentation.
It was never tested with console but as it utilizes the internal wheelbase protocol presumably it will have same native Console support your wheelbase has.

That is awesomeness
Will it work with a USB output H pattern shifter?
Do you also have the HE handbrake connected to the fanatec wheelbase?
Was considering it but this will most probably mean changing the whole controller and will lose the advanced features like progression. Saw on Fanashifter project somebody made progress connecting pedals though…
I was just wondering today if somebody had done a shifter emulator, as I would love to fix Fanatec's own unreliable shifter with a custom PCB that works like the AliExpress shifters with hall effect sensors in each gate. It's a shame that Fanatec created a hall effect shifter that's so prone to unreliability from metal debris and static buildup around the sensors. I might have to give this a go if I don't leave the Fanatec ecosystem entirely first!
I have fanatec wheelbase/shifter.. I'm on console. I want to convert my old logitech shifter to handbrake..and connect it too the fanatec wheelbase... is this possible? Guess I would need gears 4 only. I do have 3d printers to make any parts needed. Thanks.
Fanatec handbrake is simple potentiometer, it is easier to print whatever handbrake you like and connect it there. You can check my latest short video, I just built a handbrake which is very easy to print. Will attempt to make cable for it which goes directly to wheelbase - mine is hall sensor based so not sure if it will work…
Hey there, any thoughts on selling a few controllers assembled already?
I already made a commercial version, you can find me on Discord for that (link should be in the video description). Here is the latest version: czcams.com/users/shortsEKt1tCj-pq0?si=DTYIqR5QHSnWIumN
@@57uyo gotcha
Someone has tested with a GT DD PRO ? thank you !
Not that I have info but it emulates a Fanatec SQ 1.5 shifter so should work on all bases that support it.
@@57uyo thank you !
Very interesting, especially for those who buy Fanatec's shit, I threw my last Fanatec away in 2006... a greeting and long live freedom.
Yep, sold all my F equipment, kept only the base with SRM emulator hubs - too expensive to migrate now…
