A CCTV clip alone is not enough for getting a conviction. You need corroborative witness statements. Blood tests along the chain of movements from the bedroom to the hospital. Phone communications. Suspects' location. Ballistic tests. The angle of entry and exit of the bullet. The suspects' first port of call in court is always to deny committing an offence and the burden of proof is always on the prosecution. Getting a conviction in a court of law is not a walk in the park.
