When setting up my printer settings for "Port" the only option that comes up for me is "Auto", whereas I see you're supposed to connect to COM22. What can I do to ensure my laptop finds the proper port? I've already updated my device driver software, and I'm running windows 7.
Mine is COM22 but your could be different. Go to device manager then to COMs, and see what COM your printer is connected to then use that, however each usb port is a different COM so AUTO usually works but setting it manually works as well.
Hi...I finnally got my printer to communicate with Repetier. I first had to go to device manager to see what com port the usb to serial is set on. After setting the com port into Repeteir still no connection. I set the software to 9600 baud rate as the pc shows....no connection..... I then had the bright idea to look at the anet menu and found its default baud rate.... 115600....after going back to the device manager and set my com port to 115600....magic happened. I connected. I searched for a video to help with this but found none... also with the repeteir software it said it recomends to use it server connection but I need a API key....where do I get that? Make a video ......thanks
gee whizz you can access your 3d printer from the other side of the world - but how the fuck do you get files onto there? like i just want to be able to load in an OBJ or somethimg, slice it, and hit print. none of this bullshit with stats

i will star to work wireless 3D printer,it is better or not? using bluetooth module,or wi-fi
Better than bluetooth, but if the printer has built in wifi that would be good. But dont use a seperate module.
Do a tune for manual control and show your eeproms.
Great idea. Maybe soon :)
Why dont i have com 0 / 1 / 2 / 3 etc, i only have virtual delta that does literaly nothing ! help
The IRIS May not have the drivers installed for your printer but there should be COM## of some sort.
That's nice.....BUT HOW DO YOU SET UP THE FREAKING PRINTER
ken ezzell How do you mean? As it plugging it in?
If you give me some ideas I might be able to make a video out of it!
