I fish Lake Merwin. I have not caught a kokanee on a hookies or any thing other than lake trolling blades. With these blades my pole is bent that it is hard to see a bite if you are not watching you pole. I would like your recommendation on what better fly to use? I fish with a Lamiglas 9 foot pole, love it. Can you help?
Arrowflash dodger by Paulson cascade gold. 9 inch leader to a micro hoochie. Just the pink or orange micro hoochie nothing else. Garlic tuna corn. Not a fly problem. You might be trolling to fast or at the wrong depth or running bait they don’t want. Or your flys and hoochies are to big. Try to troll slow.

What is the tube called that you start with?
Water ballon tubes from Amazon. Just look up water ballons on Amazon and you will see all the different color tubes. 2 for 1 deal. Can’t beat it
