    I almost always rub a couple drops of anise oil on my hands before baiting up for any fishing to hide any other smell on my hands ! Hope you remembered to take the can opener back upstairs 🤔.

    I like hearing the science, but fish oils have worked for me for years. Maybe they don't smell it, but they taste it. I've tested it myself, and fished shoulder to shoulder in CA lakes with high pressure. I typically catch double the fish with the same set-up and bait. What I use kills trout, but catfish, and bass go after it too. I haven't been skunked in recent memory.

    I've never seen using corn on a lure before. I wished you showed how you attach it.... On triple hook, do you use 3 pieces of corn?

    • @rickw9169
      @rickw9169 Před 3 lety +1

      One kernel on a single or treble hook works best for me. Simply tread your hook through it in the most drag efficient direction.

      I said fish can't smell oil...Oil...They can smell, but the stuff they are smelling has to be water soluble...Thanks Craig...

    • @FHSTackle
      @FHSTackle  Před 3 lety

      Hey Chuck...I didn't say they didn't know oil. I stated that fish are physically incapable of smelling oil. They can only smell water based scents since they live in a water environment. If using oil based scent gives you confidence, go for it. I was just tossing out some science...LOL
