I’ve found myself getting narcissistic on social media, so I got off.
Same. I haven't used SM in years, but whenever I listen to a good aggressive rap song, I have a craving to express myself, in all my grandiosity, on SM.
I am worried about AI because of it making everyone intellectually lazy and also it giving incorrect answers. Now after listening to your explanation I realize the problem is graver and darker than I ever imagined. Thank you.
The last man I was with (for only three months, thanks God) told me in the idealization phase that he thought I had been created by AI that would have had access to his brain. I was apparently the woman of his dreams and he couldn’t have designed me in a better way. He also thought I had been sent by the CIA to spy on him.
After listening to a couple of your videos, I have another understanding of these statements.

👁️👁️ The most profound advise I’ve EVER heard. I was pro AI not knowing how it actually operates before watching this video. I believed it was sentient and the only real difference between AI and humans is the physical body as our brains are a series of electrical impulses that create certain electrical responses. After being a victim of a covert narcissist (possibly dozens in my 52 years on the planet) and wanting to understand why I continued or rather, chased these personality types, and watched many videos on the subject, I now wish to also sever all ties with AI knowing it is in fact dangerous and could be as detrimental to me personally as covert narcissists have been. This video of yours Sam needs to be part of every school’s curriculum. I’d love to share it on my otherwise largely dormant social media as I’ve been trying to get family and friends off it and back into real social activities and interactions. May I please share this video with those I care about?

Unfortunately, AI apps are indeed being developed to target the vulnerable among us. For example, today I saw an advertisement here on YT for Replika: My AI Friend.
It read:

You're looking for a non-judgemental listener

I watched my narcissistic ex rise via social media and now his word is gold. He became extremely adept at victim politics. “ how dare you say that to a neurodivergent person” 😳 ( I didn’t say the thing he was accusing me and he was self diagnosing)
I had a similar feeling dealing with ChatGPT. I thought it would be helpful to get me started with a writing outline… it was somewhat helpful but for other things it was unsettling.

I agree that imagination can be very good, especially with Leonardo da Vinci Polymaths. I admit there is too much focus on Psychopathy and should be more focus on Polymathy, if “Polymathy” is even a word. Polymaths are characterized by a great curiosity that leads them to continuous learning and involvement in different areas, especially in some with different expressions as it is not only about accumulating knowledge but also about applying and expressing it.
I loved The 1951 'Symphony in Slang'. It was a pure classic! And I would laugh so hard because I knew even back when I was 7 years old the difference between slang and literal. Polymaths laugh mirthfully at the absurdity of taking the slang literally. But I suspect some damaged souls end up psychopaths since they painfully interpret the slang literally and start doing some weird stuff, much like The Joker!

I have heard warnings about AI mostly from Elon Musk, but when you compare them to narcissists, it freaks me out, you bring back memories of my ex NPD, its SO UNCANNY and PROFOUND exactly fits like two puzzle pieces. Im so glad I escaped his criminal, madness….wooowww
One of my sisters, if she wants an apple, she will say, that the kitchen looks good, she likes the color, the tiles, the fridge is great, tries the lights, tells you, you look great... Gets closer to the apples, checks the bowl, touches the apples and sais she loves apples... and i tell her 'have one'. 😂❤

I am grateful for challenging my understanding of the term 'word salad', which is sometimes used also by some self-styled narcissism experts, which seems as overloading the initial term with their narcissism school meaning. Although I am aware of the mechanisms of 'headline inteligence', I thought the term 'word salad' could refer to the Potyomkin Village of communication and even "deep relation" with someone of traits described in the video as when the facade falls off the initial charm seems so uncanny and even devoid of human traits. Is this the difference between this kind of faking depth and using his or her own intelligence to target a particular person and meaningless and in a sense pointless, not supply-oriented word salad?
"Word salad" is disorganized speech in schizophrenia (and a few other psychotic disorders). It has no other meaning in clinical psychology.
