I’ve ridden the 650 Bergman hand the 400 Yamaha scooters over 10,000 miles when I sold them. Mostly on the highway. Never ever found them unstable at high speed. The Suzuki would top out at 112 mph on the speedo. And the Yamaha at 100 on the speedo. Loved riding them both

you called the TMax a twin, but in fact the TMax has a 3 cylinder engine , this engine has a fake cylinder to reduce vibrations and this peace of great engineering idea contributed to raised the TMax to another level.

Great design for a scooter-low gravity weight distribution makes it stable to ride. Adding in an MP3 dual front wheel would make it even more better. 🙏🏼😊
That's one beautiful scooter. It's everything one might expect from a done up scooter- big wheels, a cute round light, spokes, those gorgeous old school seats - couldn't ask for more - If there was a choice may be a lesser engine, a flatter platform at the front, interchangeable wheels with a spare one on the side, Some well designed period storage space, and looks like an old Lambretta. That would be perfect.

It's almost perfect - with a little more legroom, it's less painful on long rides. The front air fin appears to be a cooling function, which means that you will be wrapped in warm air during the cold season. Only, the legs must always be bent.

Hmm ... I am torn with this "Super Scooter" in many ways. Perhaps this is what was intended? As an engineering project and build I can appreciate the level of skill and workmanship that's gone into the build. The engine, frame, rear suspension (minus the body work) are a true thing of beauty and a joy to behold. HOWEVER ... My personal issue (prejudice??), is that is it a true Café Racer?? No! Oh, I know it could embarrass a lot of bikes no doubt, but by it's own definition ... It's a SCOOTER, even if it is a Super Scooter! Should it there for be here on this page .... Beautiful design, and a smart decision to preserve the original gear box. T-Max has exactly this weak point, to much power for the transmission system. Of course owners don't talk about it. Fantastic find Victor.

I bought my first cafe project when I was 18 for $260. It needed a lot of work but over 6 months, after working hard to get money for parts and doing all the fabrication myself I finally finished it with no in person professional help, just only advice. If you want to can check it out on my page, it’s should be labeled 1981 gs750 cafe racer. You can do anything you put your mind to!
I have arthritis and I can no longer clutch with my left hand riding a motorcycle. I’ve looked into automatic bikes, and I just don’t find any of them, aesthetically, pleasing, looking at the scooter design, wise performance wise it’s everything I would hope for. I don’t need a manual transmission to enjoy riding a motorcycle. Sometimes an automatic is the better way to go. Now if somebody wants to design kaneda’s motorcycle from Akira, now that’s a bike I can get behind.

😅 Nice one, but... I own a BMW C650gt that is comparable, as well as in beauty, high standard of fabrication, reliabillety and topspeed. my bike does a respectable 180 kph as well. Currently I'm transforming a Suzuki Burgman 400 into something between rat and steampunk, loosing all the Tupperware and thus lowering the weight-power ratio. I'll post the proces by photos when done and discuss the trouble I've met 😜. for now succes with Racer TV

I don't want to even IMAGINE what that costs BUT my 03 Burgman 650 was its performance equal at a mere fraction of this bike's price. I still want it... ...BAD. Wait, it doesn't have a cvt gearbox?!?!?!?! I'll pass.
@user-bu2en3cl6s Yes, it is very expensive, but it is also very exclusive. But the Top speed is 120 MPH = 193 km/h. and 4 seconds 0 to 100 km/h. The Burgman 650 can't beat these numbers. :) Cheers.
trad bikes tend to be lumbered with fantasy objectives. scooters are for people who want 2-wheel transport. somebody saw a sweetspot between them, and this one should prosper.

The only issue is it’s not on par with our day and age. It’s technically nothing new just one of many different conventional exceptions. If it were hydrogen/electric based we’re in the game. Not backwards technology.

No, it's not a joke. Currently the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is around 0.04%, which is almost nothing. And the problem, is that most of the CO2 on this planet, is produced by the oceans, and not by humans. I know this is shocking, but if you research the subject by listening to real scientists, you will see that things are not as we thought they were. :) Cheers.

I don't like scooters in general. Because I would never be a "mod", in a sense I am a rocker. However I love the streamlined style implicit in art deco. The original Italian scooters had plenty of that, which is why they are visually pleasing. This is the case of this technical and aesthetic exercise to achieve a finish reminiscent of Art Deco. It is a truly fantastic project, the rear suspension is simply a work of art. However, even something as beautiful and accomplished as this "scootcycle" does not incline me towards scooters.

I own a BMW C650gt that is comparable, as well as in beauty, high standard of fabrication, reliabillety and topspeed. my bike does a respectable 180 kph as well.
Currently I'm transforming a Suzuki Burgman 400 into something between rat and steampunk, loosing all the Tupperware and thus lowering the weight-power ratio.
I'll post the proces by photos when done and discuss the trouble I've met 😜.

@user-bu2en3cl6s Yes, it is very expensive, but it is also very exclusive. But the Top speed is 120 MPH = 193 km/h. and 4 seconds 0 to 100 km/h. The Burgman 650 can't beat these numbers. :) Cheers.

I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it.
The good news is that I have already found a perfect artificial voice for my channel, which is very realistic in the emotion with which it speaks every word. Very soon i will test it on one of my videos. :) Cheers.
An expensive toy for the rich, and if you have to ask how much, you cannot afford it! It is designed to look like a scooter, but its really an enclosed motor bike at £40 K. Yes it will remain, very unique!

The only issue is it’s not on par with our day and age. It’s technically nothing new just one of many different conventional exceptions. If it were hydrogen/electric based we’re in the game. Not backwards technology.

No, it's not a joke. Currently the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere is around 0.04%, which is almost nothing. And the problem, is that most of the CO2 on this planet, is produced by the oceans, and not by humans. I know this is shocking, but if you research the subject by listening to real scientists, you will see that things are not as we thought they were. :) Cheers.

The correct Top speed is 120 MPH = 193 km/h. I think the computer crashed during my editing work, and it didn't saved the latest modifications on the video, including the correct top speed of 193 km/h. Sorry for my mistake. Cheers

Very good video, have read about this scooter before. Not so keen on the AI voice over, the flow of speech is odd and some words mispronounced.

I don't like scooters in general. Because I would never be a "mod", in a sense I am a rocker. However I love the streamlined style implicit in art deco. The original Italian scooters had plenty of that, which is why they are visually pleasing. This is the case of this technical and aesthetic exercise to achieve a finish reminiscent of Art Deco. It is a truly fantastic project, the rear suspension is simply a work of art. However, even something as beautiful and accomplished as this "scootcycle" does not incline me towards scooters.

In the days, I rode rocker bikes but used mod clothes (except the parka)... Best of both worlds... ;-)
