We have an Ego chainsaw too. It’s a ripper. It does not snow where we live in Australia. It gets cold in winter but we only get mild frosts. Thanks for posting this video.
Thank you for your kind words , there are many benefits to simplifying life, one thing we have learned is the less stress you have the more you will be content and thankful.
Great job Yvonne. You are a good teacher. "Get this baby fired up and Kaboom!" Log splitting made easy. You make the videos entertaining and educational.
What a wonderful smile and personality. Looks like you’re enjoying the life. I’ve been looking at the 14” version of the Ego chainsaw and hope to get one this week. I hear you can put a 16” bar and chain on it as well.
Your solar panels are impressive. I was alway a gas chain saw guy until I was gifted a electric Dewalt chainsaw and I think they are more useful for smaller jobs then my normal chainsaw
indeed ! the tools we buy need to be a good mach for the work they need to perform. Electric saws seem to be a bit of a toy till you use them and realise they can do some serious work!
Great videos, though I am jealous of how much snow you actually have on the ground... we are just east of Yorkton SK but far too open to the wind to buildup any good snow yet.

Agreed ! hello to our friends from down under ! Thanks for stopping by our channel!
I just bought one today! Melbourne Australia. Clearing some overhanging branches and it does a good job.
You two are awesome. I love seeing how happy it seems that people who choose to lessen the complications in their lives are.

Yes trees offer free wood to heat your house as well as trap snow. The wind is fantastic if you have a windmill.
Thanks for watching
Nice wood stove
Heats our house, cooks our food and heats our hot water in the cold months. Indispensable!
4:16 ALWAYS remove the battery BEFORE you put your hands near that chain.
indeed , thanks for the reminder .
Very cool! How long does it take you gather enough wood for one day of heating?
Hi Michael, not sure but if i was to guess about 15 minutes, it takes us about 6 days of cutting and processing to have enough wood for the winter.
