Man. I remember being in 7th grade watching this. It made me love marching band. Here i am almost 9 years later marching Drum Corps International. Coming back and watching this and BOOM im a 13 year old kid again sitting behind a computer in awe
Being in that band, for this particular performance, is one of the highlights of my own life!

We dont have such big groups but check out the Iserlohner Stadtmusikanten. These dudes are next level they just recently won the european price for the best marching band.

oh man, the marching 110. Makes me wish I lived back in south western ohio again. I wont ever forget the times I have seen you guys life.... O... H.... I.... O.... Keep rockin hard! I used to march corps style, and that was a challenge, the way you all goose-step and still play well blows my mind.

Lindbergh High School Spirit of Saint Louis tried this for our homecoming game with a bunch of 8th graders and it was a huge hit with the crowd and we tried to do a similar dance. It was so much fun! :)

My marching band directors contacted the OU marching band directors to ask if they could give us the sheet music and the dance for this and they let us use it and it was really fun to do.
Just to echo this. The auditions are one of the hardest parts of the band (not that it's easy to be in the band). It is probably one of the most stressful things incorporated with us. I made it my freshmen year, and my 0 (sophomore) year, but had to drop because of military and my dad's brain cancer. It is still the one thing I regret to this day. the band is a family, and it is one of the most support filled groups you will ever find. I did manage to make it back my 5th year. But it's worth it.
I come back to this every few years, this is what band is supposed to be
OH MY GOD!!! My band director's sister is performing in this! My band director showed us this video when we got the piece, and she said her sister was in it. :D

This is the last song of the halftime show, which is always a "dance chart" for the Marching 110. The first two/three songs of every performance feature marching. It's the band's tradition, has been that way since the 1960's. Search for other Marching 110 videos here on CZcams for examples.
