Iâve watched the traditional wedding over and over again, just love the music/dancing. Congratulations.
I really love the music chosenđđđ. It makes it so enjoyable and entertaining!!! đ€đ€đ
Honesty I need the name of that song
@@chimmyagubuonu5020 same!

So so late, but omg this is beautiful!! Fills my heart with joy. â€
Love the authenticity of the traditional African ceremony and how both families participated đđ now I'm going to binge all day and watch when the kids were born đ€
These two are ABSOLUTELY *matchless*!! đ© luv them!!
This is real tradition and I am so proud of you both, may our heavenly God almighty bless you both
Davidâs Mum has some serious dance moves chaiii
I love Nigerian traditional wedding
Is it just me or do this white men look extremely handsome in their African attiređ„°đ„°
I agree with you!
Look very handsome đđ€ đđ€ đđ€
I'm so pissed off when liberal talk nonsense about "cultural appropriation". I'm a Nigerian, and I'm glad to see Whites wearing our traditional clothes. After all, we wear theirs all the time.
I'm not african, I'm african american, so am I not allowed to have an african wedding, or wear african clothes? cuz I want to EXTREMELY!
U can if u want to, itâs open to everyone whoâs willing to love and respect it â€
Beautiful. Thanks. God Bless You. Greetings from Czech Republic â€
My girlfriend is a Nigerian and she told me that this is what is awaiting me after our future Church Marriage. So I came here to 'study' more.
nice bro im from there too i live at modern side called Lagos. just dont be scared (ps im in america right now)
+A Catholic Turk. Actually Traditional marriage is the most important and is considered the official marriage and comes before Church Wedding. If her parents are real traditionalists, they'll require you do traditional marriage first with the important customary requirements. Church weddings are really not that important, and can be done down the road after you've been officially married. I am speaking from Igbo view point, but I believe it's true for most Nigeria tribes. Good luck.
Agus you're 100% correct, especially for Igbos

People forget that Africa is not just war torn. This was beautiful and so joyous and rich!
Saadi Presley Africa is not wore torn PERIOD! Take out the just
Don't listen to the media , Africa os the richest continent in the world on wealth and culture.you should visit tge motherland
Wow!! His family is very supportive. His mom was getting down she really loves her son. Blessed!
Can we talk about how adorable David's mom is?!
yes. :-)
No wonder a woman so sweet would produce such a gentleman as a son...David is just as sweet as his mom
Farrah A.
She is isnât she.
Farrah A. Oh what a beautiful woman who just blended in.đ
She was so awesome, and a good dancer.
Loved it. Thanks for sharing. Nigerian culture is so rich.
+Carolette Hinds Thanks for watching :)
+AdannaDavid It was my pleasure. May God continue to prosper and bless your marriage. I will surely share this with my family.
thank u for sharing
Carolette Hinds of
African culture is soo rich
Guys David's dad is the coolest dude ever. I've never seen anything like it. The guy is so comfortable with himself and any setting. Now I c where David got his swag from.
Pascal Bolivar - He reminds me of that guy in the Star Trek movies, can't remember his name
TheJmk1962 I think you mean Patrick Stewart- yes, I agree.
So glad you mentioned this...so enthralled with his attitude...
Absolutely
David's mum is such a sweetheart, his whole family actually đ
Now that's how you marry your Nigerian bride! Don't just end at Ikoyi registry. This is the pride of every Nigerian woman, not just walking down the isle but having a traditional rite. It's beautiful!
looool
lmao ikoyi registry hahaha dts usually just fr d passport dis is how u marry someone u genuinely love #yorubanigerian
+ynvtiny Mabel you're right. I just got married myself back home. Tradition is everything!
+Ashan05 u kno dis!! God bless ur home i wish u family bliss,! i want to marry a white man too is just so sweet i pray it works for me too.
+ynvtiny Mabel thank you. God bless you too. Mine is a Nigerian...it doesn't matter what race or color, love and happiness is all that matters.
I'm central african but our traditional wedding isn't as extravaganza as Nigerians.. i think Nigerians traditional wedding is the best
daric nd We're kinda extra when it comes to any form of celebration. This is even small...
daric nd
Yes you're right, I'm not from Nigeria but i love their traditional wedding
@@makemehkenneh361 its not better than our from Rwanda its also beautiful
@@hopeagatesi5362 no body compare it with your own you guys should stop compareing your country thing with Nigeria own it not a compation
this is the greats traditional youtube wedding i have ever seen. the costume, the music, the food, the dance are on point...
Ja stimmt. So schön ist das.
wow this is awesome. David, it was your choice to marry a woman from a different background, but what I love the most is..., your parents just went for it. They could sit back and say it was your choice and they dont want to take part in it because its not their tradition, but they totally did the best they could. You are a really nice guy but now we can see why. and your families love you guys, its uplifting!
You guys are a lovely couple. God bless you!
Am so proud to be a Nigerian Igbo girl, this video reminds me of my traditional marriage, u guys are amazing, love you both...
Thank you cynthykay obi :)
Same here I'll share it on my FACEBOOK
AdannaDavid Really Awesome from start to finish ;)
cynthykay obi I like igbo girl and igbo boy
cynthykay obi me too
Beautiful, beautiful..the costumes, the tradition, the respect of elders and family, the unity, the bride and the love that brought everyone there.
Yes! Such a perfect celebration...
+CalabarSweetæŹ§é ·ïŒii
The costumes, really, it's traditional attire
+Dara Udoh Costume is another word for outfit or clothes
She meant customs. I know what you meant beautiful isn't itđ
This is absolutely beautiful , Nigeria culture is rich. I am from Akwa -Ibom but living in the United States. I love your family.
udeme udom im from akwa ibom too
Being African/Nigerian/Igbo, whatever, is so amazing! And to think that people have tried (and succeeded in some cases) for so long to make us feel ashamed of it. Never.
Hi. do you know the name of the song playing? Thanks in advance
It's just beautiful , as an African I understand the importance of the traditional wedding. Congratulations to both of you. X
Angele Rose-Light Thank you :)
You're welcome
Angele Rose-Light Was the bride price money? If so, is it usually money?
The groom has to pay a dawry to the bride family, but in adanna case I don't know how it happened. They are many tribes in Africa and each of them has their own tradition
+Miriam Tesfay Yes, did you not see the money and ALLLLLLLL those gifts David and his family kept giving her father. Although I'm guessing they didn't really have to pay thousands of $$$ its just mostly tradition.
What a great bright vibrant culture world is such a great place these events remind us of the earth's magnificence.
We are all one human race
This is why a Nigerian woman is taught by her parents to not get pregnant early or abscond with a man so when your future husband ask for your hand in marriage he will always remember the process and you will remember how you were honored with your parents blessings.đđ·
I want my daughter to know this â€ïž
I have to say seeing your mother and Davids mom dancing together and holding hands while they enter the ceremony was one of my favorite part of this . This was beautiful !
Makes me smile ear to ear to see two family from diffrebt side of the world join together
+Sophie Aylward
me toooo :)
Beautiful đŻđ„°đŻđ„°
love conquers all dear..
my boyfriend also wants a marriage in Nigeria - but ours would be a traditional yoruba ceremony... after watching this, now I can't wait!
This is an absolutely beautiful wedding. Beyond the beauty, I see hope of a world where people will be able to forget race and just live as people. I live in the USA where race is always an issue for most people. How exciting for both of you and your families to learn each others cultures. Thank you for sharing. Blessings to you both.
Same here. I'm glad in other places race is not such a big issue as it is on the U.S.. This wedding was beyond beautiful and I loved the music too!
+Tarah Young i second this
+Tarah Young I always admire the strength of people in America where everything is always about race. Living in a cosmopolitan city and having people of all backgrounds as friends and marrying interacially i think living in America would be so difficult for me.
Tarah Young well said sister
Tge motherland awaits you
So it's not just David. From the looks of it, his whole family can dance. And they were having themselves a good ol' time too!
I am Jamaican watching this makes me so sad that my African heritage was lost as a result of slavery.
Christena Whyte im american and feel the same. my body just cant stop moving to the music too haha
Nubian Swirly I wouldn't know which part of Africa or what tribe my heritage is connected to. Not as easy as it sounds.
I am Jamaican too and I share in that pain.
Christena Whyte, I'm haitian and I feel the same. It's like my African Heritage had been wiped out.
come back home
his family is so open and happy to be there. so adorable
I am from Namibia, but this is the reason why I like Nigeria, a country of beautiful African people with their beautiful and rich traditions and colorful traditional attires. Thank you for sharing this cultural video on Nigeria.
I love how David's family embrace her culture they fit right in
Love this!!!! Naija stand up! đłđŹđłđŹ
wow the parents on both sides seemed supportive wch s usually rare
I am an American black woman that married a Nigerian 33 years ago I did not have an Nigerian wedding, watching this, I now wish that I had.
+Ann E. Not at all Muslim. Those are our cultural Traditional attires. Muslim withing our cultures would have adorned extra shawls, etc... You would have known without a doubt that they were Muslims.
experience271 Duhhhhhhh I am sure you know nothing about my family sooooooo your comment is just plain stupid. ijs
experience271 lollollol You are so simple.
experience271 So what do you want, you don't have anyone to talk to. I am sure you can find someone. I know a lot of desperate African females in their late 30's who will date or talk to anyone, even you. I know you know what I am talking about. Your comments tell my a lot about you. Have you been home lately.
experience271 LOLLOLLOL bye bye
Why didn't my ancestors get to stay in the motherland. Everything is so beautiful. The culture and all. Congrats guys
jajout45 What's your nationality, jajout45?
I'm Haitian
jajout45 Haiti, great! Huge cultural ties and resemblance between Haiti and the Igbos of Nigeria (Adanna's ethnic group -- and mine also!) You knew that?
No I didn't but thanks for the fun fact
jajout45 You're absolutely right Tobe! I just learned that most Hatians and Trini's have ancestral roots in igbo land.
The palm wine tapper wasn't playing o.
Awesome video of what looks like an incredible day. Congrats again.
I am a Caribbean woman.nigerian wedding is the best. So rich in traditions. Love watching. Congrats
lol you are cruel
Frozen videos I'm telling you David's parents and friends look so beautiful and life in the African attire

Love is a beautiful thing
Nigerian ladies are GORGEOUS!!!
It's good to marry a responsible man who is willing to explore ones culture and show the qualities of a been a good head of ones life..... Am so bless to see this video
Wow this is beautiful! The highlife music in the background is just everything..igbo kwenu! lol God bless your marriage Adanna and David.
This makes me so happy! I am sobbing at work đđđđ Culture is everythingâ„ïž
This makes me cry. This is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this!
There's so much that I need to learn about West Africa. My genetics says I'm 91% African, yet I'm so far removed from the culture of my ancestors. Sigh...I'll be doing a lot of studying and traveling so that I can learn.
i totally get you.. im in the same shoes
I've also recently done my ancestry DNA & I'M 97%African my main ethnicity is 64% Nigerian! đłđŹđđ so I'm starting to learn more of the culture I look forward to this new Journey! Watching this beautiful traditional Igbo wedding of Adanna & David moved me to tears God's blessings to you both! đ
Nicole Buhendwa I hope you do reconnect with your culture đđłđŹđłđŹ
Same here. I'm so eager to learn more!
Iâm 94% I even have some North African mix. Iâm 12 % Nigerian but mostly Ghana/Ivory Coast. I Have lived in Niger for several years Iâve been to Mauritius, Dakar, Morocco, and Algeria. I canât wait for the day I move back for good. Sorry but I donât want American children at least not the culture.
My mom cried tears of Joy in watching this... It is such an amazing thing seeing how to different cultures can blend and fit in with no problems and no worries. Absolutely Beautiful Well Done Traditional Wedding
Beatrice Ehondor Ahhh, please say hi to your Mum and thank you very much. Love X
It's funny how people always say crazy things like ohhh the white person won't blend well or understand the culture. Culture is complex in itself n oftentimes we ourselves may not understand everything in it & besides as long as there is love nothing is impossible. Race is not at all a determinant of a happy marriage clearly their love story is a perfect example that they were made for eachother n race/culture is blurred at this point that they are one
I really loved the song!!! And your wedding was beautiful. Whats the name of the song and who's the artist if i may ask?
his mama was getting it at 4:07.. so lovely to see these families come together
So beautiful! Made me cry !
ours is coming soon dont worry sweety
This reminds me of Ada Ada by Flavour
Same!!

I have been watching you for awhile now and never commented but I have to now. The love between you and David is so inspiring and uplifting. The traditional ceremony was so beautiful to watch it made me wish I grew with that type of culture. I'm from the Caribbean so I know my roots are in Africa but just don't know which part. Have a blessed and happy life.
I am from the caribean too and think the same. It was truly inspiring I have to go to every country in my motherland for sure !!
That would be awesome.

ZĂ¶ĂŒ9vpööll tñLĂ»vvumj. GghUho(
***** Because I do geneology, I know that Carribeans come from either Nigeria and Ghanna. You were sold as slaves by your own Black Moslems... sorry I had to bring this up, but, that`s history honey. I just heard the bride is IGBO... IGBO means HEBREW... I have many IGBO Jewish friends!
????
Couldn't wait to watch this so I had to watch it on the bus. So beautiful.Congrats again guys. David's mum danced so beautifully and they all looked great in traditional attires. I love the acceptance of cultures and just seeing the beauty of Nigerian culture. Damn! Adanna you can dance oh. Jeeeeeez. Wondering how I will do my ibibio dance (akwaibom) when the time comes. Lol. Cant wait to watch again when I get home.hugs
I'm Yoruba but I think I'd have to wear both Yoruba and Igbo traditional clothes on my wedding day. I love the Igbo ones as well, the different materials and the way they tie their wrapper is gorgeous ! Lol or maybe I'd just marry an Igbo!
I'm a Nigerian too, I would love to marry a Yoruba girl. If you're, we could start from here lol
Hehehe, lol.
woooow long live tradition. love this
Igbo kwenu! our culture is the best, I wish you guys the best of marriage life. Absolutely beautiful
This is so BEAUTIFUL Adanna and David God bless your union. Side note: David's mum can dance better than me and I'm nigerian!
Yes she can ;) Thank you for the lovely message Paige O
Wow! What an awesome learning experience in a Nigerian formal wedding. Two weddings in 2 cultures and countries. What a blessing, and beauty! Congratulations again!
This is the most beautiful traditional wedding I've seen... Kenyan traditional weddings don't come close. I'm inspired for my own, one day...WOW.
Father: David, isi n'ogi g'alu nwa'm?
David: Yes sir
Guy: Onyeocha su n'igbo n'inu nwaanyi

Nigerian weddings is just so beautiful...and can be expensive too! Such beautiful colours, beauty and pageantry!
Declan-Kayode Keegan expensive if you want it to be expensive
christiana onyejiaka true that
Declan-Kayode Keegan definitely expensive
This was fantastic! The love between you guys SHINES, the joy of the people, the music, the colorful clothes and appointments (the gelees were to die for!!!!)I I so enjoyed it and shared on FB , too! In a word: JOYOUS!!! Thank you for posting!
What a wonderful message Windsingerful, thank you so much :) X
This is such a wonderful video. I first found you two when looking at pregnancy announcements. You two are what the world has desperate need to see. What I assume are your parents are right in there thoroughly enjoying themselves in what is clearly foreign for a German family. It's so beautiful to see two people from such different backgrounds and cultures entwine their lives so completely. May your child be a guiding light in obliterating hate in this world. I wish you all a long and very happy life together. Thanks for showing what we can do when we stop seeing how we're all different and embrace how we are the same in love.
Your trad was so beautifully celebrated and David's fam can dance. David's mom can easily pass for an Igbo woman.. I miss Nigeria.
đ David's mum dancing, her smile
The most beautiful thing i have seen in The internet The whole day. Prompts me to want to have an Igbo wedding.
Wow, that was beautiful! I was so moved by the culture and traditions! It was so good to see both families sharing what Adanna and David have.
I'm Asian and i'm married to a Nigerian man. We have married in court hut i pray that i get to experience a traditional Nigerian wedding someday. Nigerian culture is one of the richest cultures that i feel passionate about.
china or philipino?
+uchechukww munye There far more Asian countries đđ
really
+uchechukww munye Yes really, if you are being sarcastic, it doesn't work well over the internet hun and if you're being serious search up world map of Asia and you will see loads of countries. You'll learn alot, have fun đ
ohh i see
Wonderful video! Can you explain some of the traditions of the wedding? I truly enjoyed watching and hope to learn more about the customs. Thanks for sharing!!!
This is awesome! My wife and I had two receptions to give a nod to both of our cultures as well! Love it!
Danny Shipley but why you didn't upload it ??
I loved this video. The wedding was beautiful. So rich in culture. It's great that you honored your parents by having this traditional wedding
You got me dreaming!!!! Amazingly beautiful! I love the way David 's family blended into that traditional ceremony, well done girl! Cant wait to have mine like that. Congrat and Love from Togo
I'm sorry to complain. But since I really love you guys I just wanted to say that it should be written our: Nigerian Wedding not our African Wedding, because not everywhere in Africa they having the same marriage tradition or would you call it our European Wedding.
I agree
Lelalo PREACH!!!!!
lol I think it's okay to say "our African wedding "!!! I mean I'm not from Nigeria, I'm Congolese but I swear that our traditional wedding is pretty much the same. Paying the price for the bride , waiting for the parents' blessing on bended knees, the bride coming with her friends.... everything was just so familiar. I love it.
because ALL africans have a traditional marriage its part of our african culture the difference comes with the different tribes and countries but all in all we all do traditional marriages.
didiash i agree with 100%
omg i'm so chocked how david and his mother are dancing. wow amazing i'm so proud of you.
absolutely beautiful, I am so impressed to the extent that you actually did a traditional marriage with him. lovely!! I kept nodding my head while watching the video. I pray for my own twins.
This was amazing!!!! Best Wedding Ever. I especially loved the palm wine scene. haha
Can u plz plz plzzzz do a video explaining The Nigerian Traditional wedding.. I would really love tht.. Looking at it, it seemed beautiful and festive but I didn't understand anything..
MzGlamarous187 There are over 250 tribes in Nigeria, with differences in culture and traditional marriage rites. Adanna is Igbo. x.
I totally agree with you! This was absolutely, beautiful I would really enjoy watching a video explain their traditional wedding!
I'll soon run a detailed comment here to explain the main features of this fabulous video. As an Igbo person I'm very proud of this showcasing of my culture.
I honestly think this is one of the most beautiful videos I have ever seen
I am a nigerian but from the western part of nigeria, this is my first time of watching a wedding ceremony from the eastern part of nigeria and i must say, this is the best traditional wedding so far, congratulations. New subbie here.
Well done! This shows that you have your own culture that should be respected. Not just meeting a man/woman and running off and marrying with no family involvement. Good and wishing you all the best.
I am Jamaican and it makes me happy to know that some persons don't know the meaning of racism
This is by far, the best igbo traditional wedding I've watched. I love everything about it; the beauty, culture, sincerity, simplicity, love, atmosphere and then couple? Wow, I just love it!! And you just got yourself a new subbie. God has already blessed your marriage.
nice couple beautiful may God's bless ur family.âșâșâș
This is so beautiful, Thanks for sharing.I am a Kenyan and we lost our traditions long time ago. I appreciate this African culture.I love this
