LOL, My Dutch husband showed up at the salon to visit me. I heard one lady ask, " who called the Sheriff"
Lol
+B Sterk oh God! Lol
hilarious
Hahaha!
ROFL
I've been dating a Nigerian woman for 7 months now and almost everything you said was things I've experienced too!!
It took me awhile to learn that she is not mad when her voice raises, but as you said, she passionate!!
I absolutely love it too!!
Have a Great Day!!!
What an Authentic and lovely couple this is 😂😂😂😂David is so maturely happily married! Adanna is a lucky girl to be soo much loved!
I saw it the first time, and I always come back to laugh
Likeee you dare not cut the hair😂😂😂😂
I totally loved this video
Husband of the yr david🙌
I knowww! 😍😍😹
AdannaDavid that's so good love it
I agree! 👌 He takes the cup!
You were both ment to be together!
I actually liked this. Everything you pointed out “problem” really are things I love and I find my self smiling about when you talked about. I love my Ethiopian queen. I wouldn’t change a thing.
I’m Ethiopian and I don’t have smooth hair.
@Michelle Sithole smooth? What is that? U dont know nothin bout ethiopia lol. Most ethiopians has kinky hair which is beautiful. Some has loose curls
helping your girl take out her weave or braids, the most intimate thing ever. i love it!!
angelinajoanie 😂
You made a perceptive observation: hair is intimate. Men need to know that the "hair thing" is important to your girl even if it is not for you. When you pickup on the intimacy of her hair and helping = just more love!
@ken wesaw lol!
THIS GIRL IS FUCKING LUCKY!!! (Excuse my language) BUT SERIOUSLY, WHERE DID YOU FIND HIM? STAY WINNING SIS!
love yourself first and attract someone- like attracts like
Longleggedstar. right he got me looking like maybe vanilla anit so bad. So happy happy for her.
Johnson Aak Naw, I really think she just got lucky, I saw some videos and even dudes family is down...they had the whole African wedding and everything and the family was there and very supportive!
Johnson Aak
Longleggedstar he's lucky! That woman is a prize and is beautiful! That's why he dropped to his knee and asked her hand in marriage!
My favorite thing David mentioned was the PASSION in Adanna's voice. So many people just assume black women are just angry, but it's the passion behind out voices that other people interpret as aggressive.
I think I learned from that myself! I love that he described it as passion. Makes sense. Makes for better understanding.
yup.
Bianca M. My boyfriend who is white calls it that too, passion
Passion 😂😂😂. Yea right
I live in a very predominantly white town and when I speak I’m very passionate when I speak so when I’m engaging in conversation of specific topics that passion comes out and it’s not disrespectful or offensive but it’s more intense and deeply felt and I tell the person or persons whom I am speaking with that I’m not angry or upset I’m just a very passionate speaker. I forewarn them so they can understand where this voice is coming from and for the most part they let me know that, that was their assumption all along. I think that it is very important for people to take the time to listen to what we are saying and our tone and try to differentiate passionate instead of anger lol. I love that David picked up on the difference.
This man really loves his woman! I love how much he loves her and how much they're teaching one another. It makes me smile!
😂😂😂😂He's so right about " Hair Day" 😂
I'm extremely white but have the most time consuming, complicated curly hair, so can relate 😂
its so sad hes right
i need to care less
Mom The Ebayer he had me rolling about his hair day comment. 😂😂😂😂😂
Lol.. he Gay..,
Mom The Ebayer lol okay it's so true. We take forever.
For years i was dumbfound why black women were so keen on doing their hair. But then i faced the learning curve and realized: HAIR FOR BLACK WOMEN IS HUGE CULTURAL THING. Just like some of us are collecting exceptional stamps or other old things or creating music, writing poems, some people are creating new culture with brilliant gorgeous hair style. So don't make any mistakes you male of what ever color: hair is not just individual detail. It's culture.
Yes you got that right!
No matter what people think about your point of view, they cannot say that you don't love your woman. Blessings!
+Brooke Adrianne I follow them too!
These two are hilarious!!
+TriniOrishaGyal :-)
I don't see it that way. Black people in our own communities don't all find braids and/or locs, beautiful! This is sad but I see it all too often. So I won't single him out as racist on that point alone.
Why are ppl calling him out about the 'makeup' 'comment? I guess its just because blk girl makeup is darker than other races so it will stain his shirt more noticibly than someone who is white for example. Give him a break! Lol
Kris Dee Exactlyyyyy. Duuugh.... People are slow.
Yeah but I mean no matter what race you are... makeup will show up on a white shirt unless you are using a white foundation...
amber garagiola The darker the more noticeable, jesus.
RANKINGS not really... it all looks like makeup, makeup no matter the color reflects orange/brownish tones on stark white. Duh.
amber garagiola Imagine you spill milk/warm chocolate on your white shirt. Will it look the same? You can‘t really be this oblivious.
You get a husband of the year award for going to the hair store 👏👏👏bravo
You are 100% right about the hair (it is holy lol) and the raised voices hahaha! People think i'm arguing or angry and it's just the way i talk. I raise my voice when the conversation or topic matters to me. It's just passion.
So do I its out of excitement or something, some people understand and some people don't. But that is ok
Word girl. You need to sit down and listen to Nigerian girls discuss our talk about something exciting mehn! man-o-war how we automatically have bass voices with echoing laughters or whistling ones.
It's a culture thing thats still aktive in Germany...getting loud in public is taken as bad manners and people think you are a rude person.
Hahahaha. I'm Greek and we do the same thing! (Italians too) I don't know about the US, but here in Europe we're known as "the loud Greeks"! 😂
We don't realise it, until we set foot on foreign soil and everybody stares in a "lower your voices, you're being rude" way! We are not arguing guys, we are just a bit more passionate! lol
LOL I have thought my wife was having a full on argument/fight, nope just chatting with her sisters haha
LOL!!! He sure knows alot about HAIR!!! he's definitely married to a black woman. hahahaha
Nikki D. Lovely - Right!
I am black, I don't spend that much time and money on hair makeup. I am nappy and happy !
Nina Zoomevele good for you
Nina Zoomevele even natural hair products are really expensive and my natural hair requires a lot of maintainence
It depends on what products. What is good for you isn't necessary for me, and vice versa... What works for you doesn't necessarily works for me, and vice versa.
As for what this guy says, I don't want to be limited in my Blackness on hair and makeup. So this is his reality with his wife, and he seems to be happy with it. But this is not everybody else's reality. Because we are Black we are not all the same. He should have titled "my problems..."
Nina Zoomevele well I u know it's not the case then it's not . He didn't say every black girl
Bladian Latina Princess : true. But the way he puts it together feels like that. btw, your hair is amazing !
"Preparing a Shea butter mix" 😂 this was a great vid! Makes me wonder what my beau thinks of me... Haha
you can ask him
LOL at the "DARE YOU CUT THE WRONG STRAND" love this!
😆😆😆
haha
LMAO! the part where he helping her cut out the sew in. yes he's a keepah.
yesss and the fact he goes to buy her hair too😍
Nubian Summer really?
+Kiing milli What?
Nubian Summer lol dare you cut the wrong strand. lol you are right . he is a keeper!
Lovely Day No he's the devil, ask your ancestors what happened to them in the hands of these people..
Too funny. I love it!!! Such a great husband to help with "hair day".
Those problems are for all women not only black ones
sanae suran Not the "hair day" that becomes a "hair weekend". LOL. But I agree with everything else.
white women don'tspend a day or two on their hair
white woman don't buy natural hair color 1b 😜
Stephany Richards in reference to the voice thing, she's African & one thing about Africans is that a lot of us are really loud! Am soft spoken myself
Stephany Richards i understand your point but not everything needs to be regarded negatively. There are stereotypes about all people & yes we shouldn't go along with it but again not everything needs to be an offense. Also am aware of the title, it fits because she is a BLACK WOMAN as majority of AFRICANS are black! 99% of the comments he said applied to women across the border, i see the funny in it & was simply trying to express that since you seem to have taken offense to it, but I see my error in trying to get you to see it in such a way. Have a blessed day
I like that he understands how black women can be passionate when they talk rather than just writing us off as angry. I think there are many people not just BW who become passionate when they talk about certain topics.
almondeyez Arabic’s talk even louder than Africans lol
I loved this video. Please excuse the Bitter Betties breathing all that negativity in your comments. You never claimed to be an expert on ALL black women. You CLEARLY explained that you are speaking on your experience. Hurt people hurt people but your love for your wife shines through the video. She's blessed to have you. 😄
Please keep posting! This was my first video and I love you guys already! 😍
They're such a Couple irrespective of the racial difference, what's inside them is stronger than anything outside. Their love is hard to find anywhere. Thanks for being the shining hope to the world.
lmao this is soo true. Hair turns into a weekend job.
how to sew six piece skirt
The Hair reflects our mood! 😎 hahaha!! Quite true...but I guess this could apply to other races too
Stephany Richards it is true.
+Tabitha Laker So true! especially when you have natural hair, the versatility is awesome but a different style can make you feel like a completely different person (in my experience), LOL!
nahh this is only with black girls...YASS
+Jannette M YES! Precisely
+Tabitha Laker Not like it does black women. Stop deflecting.
Adana, you know you gotta do the white boy version, right?
yasssss
Pls do the white boy version!
Pls do the white boy version!
Rebecca Williams Exactly!! I agree
+Rebecca Williams Yes pleeaasse!
😂😂😂 he said i sit there for hours HOURS and dear you cut the wrong string died there OMG
I can't wait to have my beautiful black Queen one day ahh... ❤❤❤
Richard Landry hi Richard!
....
I love white kings🤗
Richard Landry lam here for you
Tom 441 you don't want black woman
This video made my day .. specially coming from David . Great video .Loved it .. 😚😍😍👌
Glad you liked it 😊
+AdannaDavid - Black women are the same all over the world! LOL!!
***** LOL! Oh, jeez! Go buy a sense of humor.
***** LMBO!
That is so true!! OMG I Love and hate my hair day because it's an all day event😁😁😁
+Tyusha Rosales LOL!!
😂😂😂😂 yes
+Tyusha Rosales oh lord tell me about it. I hate wash day!!!!
💇🏾
+Leggs you know its wash weekend lol
I usually think only a Black man would get me as a Black woman but this man seems to have figured it out. congrats
Lady Law Skin color don't matter. It's the relationship you build with that person. Any good man will understand you because he wants to know you. Keep hope alive!
Lol! The hours to do your makeup thing is a woman thing. Especially if we're REALLY REALLY into makeup. That particular issue goes beyond race. I do love the openness you have with your love, and the fact that you pitch in with her hair. For her to even have ever allowed you to do that in the first place shows her love and trust of you. Especially a Nubian woman's hair, in its natural state and; not chemically altered. That's freaking awesome! The two of you are awesome😊😊😊💕💝
Dare you cut the wrong strand..... 😂😂😂
+Curly Proverbz, Made me lol, literally.
+Gee House right?!! 😂
Hehehe ...
Curly Proverbz. The most crucial thing he said in the video. Lmbo
I'm literally at my desk in tears... lmfao
Cute video. I am neither black nor white, but Asian and I find this young couple quite endearing. The title of the video which also is in quotations, and the video content was only meant to be a humorous tongue and cheek observation of living with his wife.
I love that you appreciate your wife and all the things that make her beautiful! This is hilarious because you sure do know your wife, I'm guessing my husband would have similar things to say about me! Blessings!
Lmao THE HAIR IS HOLY!!! I need that on a t-shirt
RealTalk....
For chicks who can't relate because of the choices you make in the types of people you choose in your life...This is what it looks/sounds like when a Man *genuinely* loves a Woman: Flaws&ALL.💞. JustSoUknow.
And for all the 'privileged' females who feel the need to chime in and correct him by saying "_____ is true for white women too", do you mind if he speaks on *HIS* PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, FROM *HIS* PERSPECTIVE?..in *HIS* video? On *HIS* channel? Please&ThankYa.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Love this comment. So true!
Tell em!! 👌👏
the video has the comments' section an people debate all the time. David never said you can only comment if you agree. #opinions
MegaCadette55 I don't mandate how they manage their comment section, and no one who has chimed in on mine has put words in David's mouth about who can or can't comment (EXCEPT YOU), nor has anyone in MY conversation tried to gauge how much people do or don't debate -- so I doubt if anyone here knows what you're talking about -- but if you're here to plant dissension and get attention, my comment would be the WRONG one to use for that..... Trust me -- theWRONGone.
To do that more successfully, u might wanna try your luck interjecting on other posts -- That is, *if* you haven't already. #thirsty.
You're soooooooooo brave for this video, LOVE it!!!!!!! 🙌🏾 You're a GREAT man and you obviously LOVE her! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I love him......now if black men could just understand that we wouldn't have to hear comments about the reasons they date white women.
This is soooooo true. If he understands, why can't any other race, including our own understand, instead of making it a flaw or turn off.
I agree with you...our own race does not understand it more than the other races
@Venom's Pain Sorry no chance for you with your venomous language.
@Venom's Pain no need to please me! I am taken! Talk to us ladies with respect. You may find yours!
Venom's Pain growing up I felt like black men didn’t like black women and I always hear them say negative things about us. Which is why I grew up distrusting them thinking that they would never find me attractive anyways. Now that I’m 20 I have been asked out by really nice smart and successful black men and I said no only based on this feeling
I know Its stupid but I just feel like since most black men talk shit about black women i should give any of them a chance.
Hehehe David U hit the nail!.. That's so true... Am married to a German man and he claim to love me from all the points u mentioned...Because he accepted me of who I am. He always tells me I rock his world.
This husband is AWESOME. God bless them!!!
STFU. Shame on you. Enjoy being sent to HELL.
She shares that white man with another man
C. Michael Moses married an Ethiopian and yet he was a prophet of God, Joseph was married to an Egyptian and yet he was a blessed child of God and Jesus Christ is coming back for a gentile Bride.
I laughed so hard. This is so so true. My husband would tell me all the time " why are you yelling?" And I go " I am not yelling, am i?". I never realized it until he told me . And one day I invited my african friend over and we were speaking french( my husband only speaks english), he says " are you guys fighting? Lol. 😂😂😂. Same thing when my siblings visited me . When he el hears them Talk he would hide and tell me "I think they are fighting " for my sisters most of the time it was true because they fight all the time those teenagers. So i learned not to be loud in public but when i am home, it's on!!!!😂😂.I don't like hugging people when I have make up on because it gets everywhere😤, or I have to look up really high so my chin Doesn't touch the shoulder.
The part where he is talking about taking out the tracks of the weave had me laughing so hard!!!! he was like "do not dare cut the wrong part of the hair."
Marry a Jamaican woman and you do her wrong, you gotta sleep with one eye open.
DeWalter_White,
Mi ah dead wid laugh wid dis yah comment 😆😂. You rite doah! Jamaican women noh wrap up! Dem wi definitely show yuh how wata walk goh a pumgkin belly.
Hahaha
Couldn't stop laughing!
DeWALTer_White 🙄
lmao. Spoken like a man w/some experience!
The hair is before the husband 😂😂😂😂😂
lool i need to admit that we are loud! i was in a bus with some friends a couple of days ago. we were so loud that we ourselves said "we need to lower our voices if we don't want the driver to ask us to get out.
every ethnicities has their particularities .my mum often ask me "why are you shouting?"
and i am like "heuuu but i am just speaking normally "
😝
+ブロンディブラック(東京外人) people who take this video too seriously you completely miss the funny part of it
david made a point i agree with him
if you don't that's your right
nhbeautyzone GBAM !
im quiet as a mouse cant stand loud people ( no offence)
I usually want to be loud like my mom and sisters. ...buh it seems I can't get that. ... +flo controlling the voice is not easy. .. maybe you belong to my category, low voice. don't offend anyone about that ... it took me time to understand that some things are just as they are
+Hakeber Same here. I tend to find loud people obnoxious. The ones I have come across tend to be mean spirited. They want people to hear them because they like the attention. It would be one thing if they were loud yet articulate; unfortunately swear words and ebonics tend to be the jargon of choice.
Omg!! The hair day & the bit about sounding angry but we're really just passionate!! So true!! What a cute video ☺️🙌🏾❤️
I love this video. He has me cracking up through this whole video. He has truly embraced the woman his wife in all her forms. This is how love should be.
"The hair is holy" Hahaha
I absolutely love this guy! He knows his woman wella and loves her for those reasons. You have my respect.
Very nice video and great perspective! 👍🏽 Thanks for sharing. Elohim's continued blessings to you and your family.
That hair day part. Extremely true 👌🏾
give the guy a break it's his experience and he really doesn't mean to offend. that's obvious
bellefemme6677
bellefemme6677 Well said !
That girl's lucky...she has a funny, nice and understanding man.....wat more do u need....A white guy that understands us.....can't even get a black guy to understand this
+tasha m.x they'd be complaining left and right.
lol
PREACH GIRL
De Jaye but black men come out perfect right. Please, with the one sidedness. You all are the ones who make us fucked up. From the beginning.
+Dee Jay I get your point, you can't expect everyone to understand when the truth hurts.
I'm late, but you are so awesome! I'm so glad that you understand the difference between anger and passion. Many people just assume that when you're speaking passionately you're ghetto, angry and/or abrasive. That's so far from the truth.
I was walking down a dusty road when all of a sudden I was swallowed up in a dust storm. As I tried to find my way out I looked up and saw a giant coconut. It told me that each time a black woman gets offended over nothing, the world supply of coconut oil looses 5kg. There's not much time left my sisters
stop getting offended
save the great coconut
This is so cute he actually knows full terminology lol he's so cute
He loves his wife to even attempt cutting out weave. 😂
This is hilarious!!! A is so blessed to have a husband that accepts everything about her hair and all. I wish I could have been there when you went to buy the hair the looks you received I know was PRICELESS!! God bless you A&D
Just joined your channel and y'all are so original, you are so sweet to notice the need of a black woman. Keep up the love and respect for one another. God bless.
Hahaa the "dare you cut the wrong strand" had me rolling on the floor with laughter!! Good one David
Our hair is our crown and glory so that's why we put so much into it. I spend more time on my hair than I do shopping and shopping can be an all day event especially if I'm looking for something special--I end up going to four or five stores just to find one item and don't let me into a shop that has so many cute/cool things. I may go in for one item and come out with 10 but the hair is a whole other level. You're a good man, David, who really loves his wife and I truly admire that.
Loved the bit about her hair. She loves and trust you to invite you in. Black men go through the same thing. Our hair is our crown and glory. Thanks for sharing.
you are such a great husband and daddy.
he is such a good guy. My man would never do my hair.
alice moh i do for u
EVERY GIRL DOES NOT LIKE MAKEUP! GRRRRRRRR.... I HATE MAKEUP!
+Maze+Lee You're beautiful without it.....and the hair. Put all that money you're saving into a money market fund. Just Do YOU !
you're right. the occasionally weekend is great but everyday day sometimes a simple moisturize, lip gloss n go
+Maze+Lee, ME TOO. I hate makeup. Yay I knew there were others like myself.
I also hate makeup - I feel like it sinks into my pores.
MAZELEE why
The discussion on hair is absolutely hilarious!!!!
Watching this now and loving it!
Lol well I have white friends, who leave makeup smudges on shirt...lol but the bulk of the things you mentioned aside from the hair applies to all women
kusz prem I also said the same thing.
Exactly. Make up is make up if you wear it can stain a shirt . Not all black women even wear make up lol, I don't. White women wear weave also, probably not as much as black women, but almost all white women bleach and dye there hair. That's why there are so many blondes lol.
I think he said black to emphasize their beautiful intercultural Union
Yes! Finally someone who gets us. Sometimes when we do talk, it doesn't mean that we are angry or trying to be rude, we are just trying to have a conversation. Love the fact that others are starting to understand black women and learn our perspective.
This video was awesome. I definitely have the passion in my voice but I don't wear make up or spend weekends on my hair. I loved the video though. so cute!
The passion in our voices... True!
Hair is a really big issue ..
At first i used to shy about it....but then i realised it's good to be real and open!
Good stuff AdannaDavid
omg...he understand his girlfriend very well
his wife
Serenity4eva.. Adanna is David's wife of many happy years. I love them soo much. Their love is contagious
Hair is a huge topic for us and a hair day is REAL. It's hilarious to see it from your perspective. Taking care of our hair is a tedious and arduous process but it's necessary lol
😂😂😂😂😂 what really got me was the pic of him helping take the sew in out!!! bruh you guys are perfect for each other!!!!
LOL! A++++
My hubby would totally agree with you!😄 We most definitely have our differences but I LUV IT & HIM!😍
Great video! I just wanted to share that shaving cream can remove makeup stains. This may save you a few shirts! To pre-treat, but the shaving cream directly on the stain, rinse to remove as much as possible, then wash as usual. Do not dry if the stain does not come out, re-treat.
OMG Best tip ever! I'm sure David will certainly be trying that out! 😹
Great tip
+cristaconway Thank you for this tip
Holy shit! This is an awesome tip. My wife and our GF are black and this will save so many shirts
"Dare you cut the wrong thing" 😂😂
I just cannot believe it amazing!!! Amazing companions you both are cannot help smiling!! I just I find my fellow companion, you both give hope, God bless!!!
I loved this!!! The different hair and different characters is me. 😂
Oh my Lord, I died! Lol. "Dare you cut the wrong stand" And the white guy in the black salon scenario. Rotfl!
"When she's excited about something her voice will raise. I love the feistiness and the energy she has. It's all passion." I love that he said this! More guys need to listen to this! We're not always mad. We're generally happy and just get excited and show our emotions! Sorry not sorry!! Swear I'm moving to the UK. Guys just get it over there. lol
Your wife is so blessed to have you who can make light and jest of these idiosyncrasies but still support and love her.. You are a blessing to her and you two are blessing to each other😚
This was precious and absolutely hilarious! !!! I was almost in tears laughing so hard.
I found this entertainingly unsettling - so much so that I had to subscribe!
Naturally High me too omg 😂👍
Naturally High hahaha me too!!
Sir you should just have a class or write a pamphlet!!! I love this! All men no matter the color should watch this video and strive for you level of knowledge. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Again great job 👍🏾
great video David...need Adanna's perspective now.
I loved watching this. I watched Adanna's first then yours and was thoroughly entertained. You are both very clearly wonderful to each other and make an awesome couple. It is nice seeing the blending which is what makes a successful couple. Your desire to learn, blend then grow is so obvious
This video made me laugh so much!
Lol "the hair is holy"😂😂😂 this is great!!!
Thanks for sharing. I just love seeing your interaction as a couple and as friends.
I love your video and the whole family! You are so on point! Congratulations and welcome to our family!
Love this entire video! I can see how much you love her 💗💜
My boyfriend is Congolese and he also thinks I speak loud compared to most Congolese women. It may be a Nigerian thing...
+Ma Luchi I am a congolese too
It's Naija tinz! We are passionate. Surprised other African brothers and sisters mistake this for aggression!
LOL! So true especially the hair thingy and the passionate manner of conversation. We're mixed couple too and both guys but my partner can agree with all the points!
Hahaha I love your hair day explanation. Super sweet hubby!
"The hair is Holy." HAHAHAHA! High five to the white husbands who understand black hair!
