David Tenant he played the Doctor in Doctor Who and his sidekick at that time was Catherine Tate.
Hi Tysheen, this was a one off sketch for an annual comedy charity night called Comic Relief. There is a long running si-fi programme that started in 1964, called Dr Who, about a time travelling alien whose around 900 years old who befriends humans, and has them as a sidekick, spookily enough it's usually a pretty young woman. He keeps being regenerated as the actors playing him are replaced. This actor David Tennant is the tenth Dr, when he started his companion Rose, by any other name would smell as sweet, was played by pop singer Billie Piper, that was a figure of her he changed Catherine into. When Billie left the show she was replaced by Donna, played by Catherine Tate. David and Catherine are best mates and have done several projects together. Fun fact, in real life Dr No10 is married to the daughter of Dr No5.
For context, this is David Tenant. He played the Doctor in the Doctor Who TV show with Catherine Tate black then and also last year. They did an update version of this during COVID. DT played a lot of roles, including Good Omens, the bad guy in Jessica Jones ans he's the voice of Scrooge McDuck. Btw he was voted DILF of the year last or so. Hope this helps.
Scottish actor David Tennant a well known Shakesperean actor who is a former Dr Who and has appeared in numerous drama/TV series in the UK such as Broadchurch etc!
This was a special sketch for Comic Relief and not part of a normal show. In her show she did the character a lot and her catchphrase was "Am I Bothered?".
The little figurine he turned her into, looked more like Billie Piper, than Catherine Tate. (Tysheen. Billie Piper played the part of Rose Tyler, when David Tenant was Doctor Who. She was his 1st companion in the TARDIS. David is her teacher in this clip.)
