- The Tamiya 1/10 RC Grasshopper is one of the most funny car despite the basic chassis and low power. In the years I tried to upgrade, now I want it to be like the original project. In this and following videos the work.

I still have mine that I bought from Talbot's in San Mateo back in the 80's Still runs great! First R/C I've built, upgraded (Motor and incased bearings) and owned! Now I run Arrma's, Carisma's and Redcats. Come a long way!

It is very rewarding to tear the old ones down and get them back into good running order. Sometimes the tear down and cleaning part is almost as good as the build. Have fun with the rebuild and I look forward to seeing the end result!
Hi Addam, you see, to me is easy to find enjoyment using money but it's more brave if you find a way to keep busy and happy for free (and more smart). This started as a downgrade video but in the matter of facts is a restoring video, not my first one but perhaps the deeper one. Hi Nanni, a lot of great works to a wonderful 80’s classic hopper buggy. I like how you’ve disassembled the whole buggy, cleaned throughly and prepared everything for the reassembly stage. Shocks? Keeping with the originals or is temptation going to get the better of Nanni 😂😂 looking forward to seeing part 2 and the master at work 😊best wishes to you and the family 😊

I grew up wanting a grasshopper my older neighbour had 1 i eventually got the hornet loved it i took it to the local bmx track it took a thrashing the tyres were the 1st thing to go i always wanted an avante

I did this with my rc10t from the year 93, i think. And i love it. The hopups are in a bag. But I could return some day, just not from me, i guess 😊 Nanni#1
