I bought a wall decoration and wondered how it was made. It is a very beautiful design made from shells on a black background. There is so much work involved to create such beauty; from beauty. Now I can rest my mind, you have answered my curiousity, thank you for sharing.
Fantastic creatures of Sea. Awesome illustration of these shells. Thats a 😍alot of beautiful shells 🐚!!! I have millions of collections too 😊. That was a wonderful video. I love it.
My brother made the most beutiful tables with native birds made from inlayed mother of pearl. The tables where so beutiful but I had no idea how much work he put into them until now or how dangerous the work was. No one has made anything close to the table he use to make yet. No one made those kind of tables except him. Those tables would be worth alot of money now and a beutiful family heirloom.
I,ve watched about two minutes of this ...it,s a nightmare ...so dangerous ...if these poor workers don't bleed to death with an injury ...they will die from shell dust anyway ...those dirty masks arrant much help ...ever hear of health and safety while you get rich ...disgusting ...I absolutely loves shells and pearl but this is like a massacre...human life is cheap here ...do something about these conditions ...from Australia
thank you nola, my thoughts exactly. the ones doing the handsawing. the dust flying everywhere. so so sad!! even the woman with the plastic sealing machine...more toxicity. that man cutting shells on an exposed saw blade: that is 100% WRONG! this whole video made me feel horror!
hi while seeing how you cut the shell ,my tummy moving i almost cant breath its very dangerous to your fingers ! there is another way or posetion how you cut it?for safety, any way i like .tnx
@@silverpassion3588 I think I understand what you're talking about now I had to go back and review. If you want to sway somebody to your point of view or to your side you don't start off with an insult. And how do you know it's slave labor have you been to Vietnam. My brother-in-law's Vietnamese so you tell me, ass wipe.
@@mr.m.o.g.o.m. That guy u are replying actually said it in jest "slave labour with safety in mind." I'm focusing on the safety aspect. I personally don't think its slave labour at all. In fact i find them very skilful. Such high speed grinder need to have a safety guard for the hand. Your finger may just snip off at an instant. If the owner don't even hv a decent welfare for the workers, in a way its also consider some sort of ill treatment. But still I'm focus more on the safety. The safety guard has to be mandatory. Otherwise don't work here. Your reply 'how so" irk me. Its so obvious dud !!

18:12 ... that guy deserves a huge raise for how skilled he is at cutting shell !
that he still has fingers is amazing
Mind blowing! When they cut the seashells, I had almost heart attack😳 They deserve big bucks for that type of work. Hats off
The level of skill, even when working with dangerous equipment, is incredible. Amazing and scary to watch.

It's a pity the Vietnamese craftsmen doing this work weren't given credit at the end.
I love the song!
Guys, you need more protection when cutting the shells. It was like watching a horror movie for me.
Super impressive how he made that piercing saw blade!
Don't seem too concerned about protecting workers from catastrophic injury.
Call the OSHA, no one respects it in USA by the way
When he tries to put the shell back together my though was. A snail walking around with a heck of a fixer upper.
Fantastic
This guys fingers are so close tp the blade it's scary.
Somehow I got the idea that they don't worry about ones inspectors there!
How many people have lost there fingers.. Love the OHS there LOL
would prefer it if the music wasn't drowning out the speaking
May I buy a few whole shells for bowls to hold keys by the Door or trinket dish for counter ?
Great video 🤟🏻❤️💋
As a luthier I make my own 😂
The diamond blade doesn't cut skin it only cuts through hard materials.
Like fingers
The music? who is the name a band?
