- WhichBike.com staff member, Ade, has a full ride on the forever popular YBR 125 from Yamaha. What is it that makes this bike so successful.
A special thanks to Woking Yamaha for the motorbike. They are just about to double their showroom size and if you are in the South East then pop along and ask for Bill or Steve.

I've ridden 2 older models and I've gotta say it's a bike made for everyone not just beginners, unless you have daily commutes that exceed 60mph frequently. I was also impressed by it's size. It's a long bike with a seat height on the taller side. Far larger than the MSX125 and more practical.
Had an '09. Extremely easy to ride from the off, so spot on for a new rider.
As a newbie to bikes it's a relief to know someone with so much experience still plays the hunting neutral game :D I'm here because I parked my Varadero 125 next to one of these this morning and it looked so tiny! I recognise those roads out past Brookwood, I might have to go for a ride there myself..
they are a great bike, my youngest son has had one for two years, been to the Isle of man on it three times, utter reliable, takes some keeping up with through tight bends, good review.
this is the bike ive got to learn on💯 cant wait to get a bigger bike
picked one up in February for £800 and it's a 2007 model with 10,000 miles on it. solid machine and really good fun
You are a great presentator and a great guy. Your videos are really informative and a blast to watch.
Thank you mate I’m buying this bike today
The problem with beginner bikes below 250cc, is that they're extremely expensive for what you can get on the used sport bike market to say something like a used SV650 for the same price. So, in the states, they just don't sell well.
This was a lovely video love your personality and super informative! I know its old but it put a proper smile on my face :)
Very good bike! really flexible in city traffic jam.this video made me buy it as a new driver (2 years ago) I never regret my choice.thanks man for your infos in this video!
This Review made me decide which bike I'll buy.. Thank you.
This is the bike they use at driving schools in Singapore. I really enjoyed using it during lessons, and I'm considering getting one for my own. Thanks for the review!
Cheers for the review! I'm seriously considering getting one of these for my first bike. I've got family not far from Woking so it might even be from the same shop!
I'm in my late 50s, have one of these and utterly love it..! Brilliantly agile, very forgiving, ultra frugal on fuel (100mpg) Still hits 70mph with a lump like me onboard.. 11/10
I will get this as my first bike and your review made it easier for me not to be so nervous, plus you are funny dude
I miss the round headlight on these I had an 09 model when I had my CBT, was good fun
my sister gave me her 2010 YBR , I'm going to use it for my 7 mile commute , its fun and lives with my Triumph Street twin in my garage :-)
