- If you missed out on the 2005 Kennedy Center Honors, then you missed Beyonce paying tribute to the queen of rock herself, Tina Turner!! Beyonce performed Proud Mary, best known as Rolling On The River in front of Ms Turner and thousands of other people and honorees. She blew everyone away, and Tina looked very proud by the expression on her face.Enjoy!!

I just love the fact that Tina Turner enjoyed the tribute to her by Beyonce. You can see the smile on her face and her hand clapping at the end. She really respected Beyonce's performance.
Beyoncé loves herself some Tina Turner. You can tell. She is so Happy. She did a fantastic tribute to Tina Turner.

Good for Beyonce. She did everything she could to keep that tribute as true to Tina's version as possible. She didn't miss a nuance and neither did her back-up girls. Tina enoyed every note and it was a true tribute. Beyonce's mom, Tina, raised a real lady!

This is one of my Beyonce´s favourite performance!!! Amazing... the song is perfect, and she sings so good and the coreography was great... she was made for this and, no doubt, Tina was really PROUD!!!

It was a great tribute to Tina; She did it with style, composure and even a sense of grace. To try and mimic Tina exactly in her presence would of been wrong.

Not many can perform like Tina! And there will never be another like Tina! But Beyonce has performed before Heads of states and , Presidents . This shows the world of her versatility. Amazing talent on any level, from hip hop, to the 50's styles of music. Totally incredible good showmanship, and she does it well !
