You should see her other video, I thought I was having a stroke đ„Ž
Not scratching yourself or poking your eye out with long nails when doing skincare must be some kind of a talent
Yeah⊠and think about the people with long nails that use contact lenses đ
I was wondering how you can function with these nails, I wouldn't be able to type this with that length...
Why do women think this is pretty? To me, it's disgusting!
Because it makes oneâs hands look longer and slimmer which is generally regarded as more feminine :)
I admit though, that acrylic nails are pretty exaggerated in terms of length and thickness, so they might look too âbulkyâ sometimes.
@@tinapearlsound7611 Same! I really dont get it!
I think itâs genetics too because her mom and her children all seemingly have really great skin.
They all have beautiful, flawless skin!
Yes - genetics.
And money
Was just about to comment this. She definitely got it from her momma bc she looks sooooo good & so much younger than she is.
@@Oceananswer she may have lots of money, but money has nothing to do with genetics and what she was blessed with lol. Gotta thank her mom for that, and probably her grandmother too.
For her, beautiful skin is GENETIC! Her family just has great skin. From Jada, to her mom, Willow and Jayden, they all have smooth, flawless skin with tiny, undetectable pores. She could probably use dove soap and vaseline & would still have that perfect skin.
Really?
THIS.
I used to use whatever was there, if I did any skincare. I used shampoos, didnât moisturize.. or wear sunscreen. And skin was flawless. Then when I turned 29 it caught up with me!
@@Jezebel066use organic aloe vera gel or non comodegenic chamomile oil or organic rose water (if u don't have allergy) or green tea bags or rice water on your face.
@Harmony Tangerine I mean, I have an aloe plant at home and its great for irritation on my skin or my scalp
i like that she says she wouldnât use some brand and products cause they arenât vegan or cruelty free but still reviews a products in a very objective way by looking carefully at the ingredients rather than own personal view points and also tries to give cheaper alternatives for the viewers. nice. no hate, all
love with a touch of healthy criticism.
Agreed! Was subtle in her commentary, I noticed this too
Yes. This is why I keep watching her.
"Cassandra confused and in love with Jada Pinkett Smith's routine for 32 minutes"
âHello!! My name is medical aesthetician and Iâve been a Cassandra Bankson for the past TEN YEARS!â đđ I thought my ears were deceiving me
Had to watch the intro twice coz I'm not awake yet and that bamboozled my brain! â
I watch her videos first thing when I wake up to start the day off right!
That isnt makeup - that is her face! Yes, it's also the camera's blur and lighting
I love how she said âyour skin has gotten to a new normalâ instead of becoming âimmune.â Super clever, as always đ
She's definitely had cosmetic procedures done...her forehead doesn't move much when she's expressive, suggesting botox or some other name brand toxin. Also, i grew up seeing her perform with her metal band and such, and I can tell you that she most definitely uses filler now as well. While the skin itself looks good, I'd also wager the lighting, and camera filters also have a smoothing effect. I just don't trust any influencer or celebrity anymore when it comes to skincare because they aren't being fully honest and it makes people think that if they just do these routines like these people, that they will look like that too....its deceptive.
Iâd also add that all the steaming and microdermabrasion spell trouble for people prone to rosacea and broken capillaries
She had a metal band?
@@AndYourLittleDog so people with broken capillaries cant have dermoabrassion thing?
@@thepornographer1442 Lol...yeah. She was the lead vocalist/screamer.
@@mysticmama_3692 i remember actors wanting to be singers but didnt know she was too

It is a diamond tip microdermabrasion machine. Still suctions just doesnât throw the crystals. The tip on the wand is broken down diamonds and where the exfoliation comes from.
Came here to say this too - definitely the diamond tip machine. I think I had that exact machine years ago (from Amazon) - I used it a few times, but after learning about chemical exfoliants, I didn't touch it again lol.
I absolutely do my skincare routine in my birthday suit!!! idk how people do it with clothes on, water gets everywhere for me!!

Her skin is so pretty. I was amazed and in awe watching her care for her skin. Jada is so pretty. She looks so young.
Cassandra your video are absolutely epic!!!!!! Love your content:)
Itâs a diamond tip microdermabrasion machine by the looks of it, therefore no crystals are shooting at her skin like other type of microdermabrasion. I worked in an aesthetic clinic a few years ago and there was brand (Agera I think) where we would microderm the skin peel off and finish with Omnilux red light therapy, it gave amazing results! đ
Heyy can you pls do an updated skincare routine. I have a similar skin type to you, with oily skin and especially prone to breakouts around my chin so I would love to know what products you use to keep your skin looking gorgeous and glowing and also reduce breakouts. I struggle to find the perfect balance to keep my skin hydrated and moisturised but also exfoliated and products to reduce breakouts so would love any advice!!
I've been binging your videos for a few days now and you are so entertaining!!! I do my routine in a Temu Satin Button-Up PJ Shirt Dress Thing lol... it feels nice on my skin but with it being lower quality, I don't worry about it getting damage. I also have 1 bathroom for 5 people so... yeah it's mainly as a preventative. If I had my own space, most likely i'd be in my birthday suit
Great fun, insight and analysis. More please đŠ
Love that you show James Welsh steaming his face...our cult is strong, lol. I also steam, but that's just because it seems to help my sinuses, never really saw a difference in my skin in doing it.
These celebs have had work done and let's be honest đŻ
Her forehead is frozen. Lol. Not taking advice from this one
GENETICS
Not you people thinking fillers give you good skin
Thank you! I am like .. umm hello. Itâs obvious
All my skincare is meant for babies đ I have extremely sensitive skin and an allergy to fragrances, so baby skincare is my way to go
Love your videos girl! My Mother has that same micro derm machine (we're both Estheticians)đ and that machine doesn't even shoot crystals , it just has a circular diamond head tip. I worked in a Medi Spa and used the real micro derm machine that shoots the crystals out and has the 2 chambers. I haaate that machine. But yea it doesn't shoot the crystals out just sucks and has a hard crystaly tip.
Dr Alexis Stephens did a good reaction video too. I love hearing the science behind the good and bad. She theorized that jada might have seborrhea dermatitis. Also, if you look closer or on a bigger screen, you can see her hyperpigmentation even though she does have great skin that can clearly take some abuse
I'm a new subscriber, I just love the way you say "hello"
Definitely birthday suit skincare every day, I've tried to do my skincare over the sink and I end up completely trashing my bathroom đ
Ditto! Takes longer to clean up the mess than it took me to do my routine. Lol
You may find this interesting as a skintellectual. I have a skin disorder called Lymphomatoid Papulosis. Essentially my tcells over produce c30+ protein and itâs classified as a CTCL although itâs not lymphoma. It looks like lymphoma but it self heals (around a month or so to heal depending on healing factors).
This means I get bumps that turn to lesions that are very deep in my skin. Leaving scars. I get these everywhere. Including my face. So I have to consider the reaction a product has on the bumps, the lesions, and scarring as well as having combo / eczema prone skin. With some acne. Your channel has been SO HELPFUL deciphering which products to try out! đđđ thank youuuuu!
I also have to balance getting sun and protecting from the sun and kinda pick my poison. As the sun really helps with my condition. But Obviously too much is harmful. I can tell my derm struggles too like .. donât not wear sunscreen but like you need at least 10-15 minutes at non peak hours without sunscreen. But thatâs not always doable. I recently turned down UV therapy as I would rather have scars than UV damage. Fun right đ
Lmao. How did you say all those words in your intro!! AWESOME đ
the reworking of your cred. intro was hilarious hahah
I'm actually early for once. Really love your videos Cassandra đđđŒ

I'm confused: steam doesn't open pores or draw out impurities? Why did my dermatologist, an ER doctor and everything I've read suggest moist, hot compresses for a boil? It seems to be much more than just "feeling good".....
A boil isn't the same as regular clogged pores. But no, pores do not "open or close"
if you ever want to please make a video on ZO skin health!! i would love to hear your opinions on the brand/products
I love watching celebrities doing they skincare routine but I will never believe that's it's actually what they are doing. (Same for sport routine or hair routine)
If you have the same skin type and use the same product you will not have the same results.
Even some kpop idols who have the clearest skin I ever seen in my life confessed that they are going to the dermatologist (and the hairdresser) once a week and sometimes every others days.
I think celebrities are all trying to get in on skincare marketing and advertising products CONSTANTLY. Thanks for your comment I was wondering why no one was saying it.đŻ

Cassandra I have question are ultrasound scrubbing good for our face???
Hi Cassandra! Would love to see you review some French skincare brands such as SVR, Caudalie etc đ
She may have discussed caudalie in one of her shopping videos. The Fab Flamingo and Cyrille Laurent have videos on Caudalie. I know Cyrille Laurent, No BS Beauty and Glow by Ramon have reviewed SVR products.

I have no problem with eating avocados but 10 years ago I tried to put it on my face (whyyyy) and I had a severe reaction and needed to go to emergency right away, IF you really want to try it please patch test first even if you eat it regularly!!!
My boyfriend was concerned that lactic acid might bother my skin because I'm lactose intolerant. đ I had to explain that the skin and digestive system have different reactions. Thanks for the reminder.
"Hello! My name is medical esthetician and I've been a Cassandra Bankson for the past 10 years..." Am I the only one who replayed out of complete confusion? đđ
She's onto something with the baby products thing. Besides my facial skincare, all of my hygiene products are for babies. My moisturiser, my shower gel and soaps. My skin is so much less dry and irritated since making the shift
My face wash!! Skin ID from neutrogena SAVED my skin. When they went away (devastated) they gave recommendations for drug store versions/dupes and this is the only face wash that's ever helped me. Love it! But also, I have pink hair, and the roots around my face are definitely always blonde! đ€·ââïž lol. Bleached roots around my face is a small sacrifice to go from like hundreds of breakouts to just a few.
I just got really excited about seeing my face wash on one of these videos. đ€Šââïžđ€Šââïžđ€Šââïž

I am curious if you like the dr. Dennis gross steamer? And would you suggest that deep pore mask? Neutrogena I believeâŠ.
Any suggestions for face masks? I have combo skin. And a lot of times rough from milia (spelling sorry) and very difficult to get rid of. I have larger pores and so I try to keep them less clogged so they donât look as bad.
I have a similar microdermabrasion machine at home. It doesn't shoot crystals but it has sapphire crystals on the rim so it basically works like a sand paper.
I don't use it anymore because I realized I was overexfoliating
Loved this!
I love your videos. Happy Friday
I stan a queen that doesnt wear any jewerly while doing skincaređ€
Yay đ Iâve watched Jadaâs own video and I have also watched Hyramâs take on this. I love to watch you react to this.
Iâm a few years younger than Jada and we were taught to steam our skin. That is supposed to be very good for you and that was a very important step before cleaning out the pores.
I'm 38, and I used to steam my face in high school. I would do it over the weekend as it brought any pimples to the surface, and then they'd calm down by Monday. I was taught that it opened the pores up for cleaning. I have to wonder what it actually does.
I'm 26 and for now I have a super simple skincare routine: cleanser, niacinamide, lactic acid (twice a week) and sunscreen. I think in my 30s or mid 30s I'll switch out the lactic acid for a retinol. Bringing this up because Cassandra talked about changing skincare routine and I think age is a big factor.
Do you use a moisturizer?
I am surprised she has skin after all the extreme exfoliation lol, dermabrasion, benzoyl peroxide, physical exfoliation with towel, and retinol, all the same time đ
she only does it every couple of months
You are so smart and well educated and it shows girl!
OMG! I have an idea! Could you do Florence by Mills truth/backstory video like you did with Glossier and other brands?! I would love to know more about them as a company! Even if you donât itâs okay, I love your content so much, keep on doing what your doing! âșïž

yeahhhh i don't know if OTC skincare will make me age gracefully like this qween
Yep! Skin Care routine while on my b-day suit đ
23:21 is literally me about my nighttime skincare routine đ omfg đ!!!
I do my skincare routine outside on my balcony. Sounds weird maybe, but Iâm disabled and a wheelchair user, and thatâs generally where I set myself up for the day and the evening (thereâs a nap in between those). So my skincare is where I am. Going in to the bathroom is difficult because I canât do it sitting down, and I canât stand up for long enough.
So I do my skincare outside on my balcony, I use water wipes (not makeup wipes, water wipes) to remove cleansers and such. So no, I do not do my skincare in my birthday suit. Iâm pretty sure that would be very illegal. But I do try to get my neck and chest. I also tend to wear higher necklines when I do go out, so Iâm not too worried about getting super far down on my chest- no one sees that, including the sun. So itâs already at a better starting place. What I do though, is I do use a shower gel with AHAs, and then I use Emu Oil from VitAustralia. Itâs actually a moisturiser with emu oil in it (and no, it is not vegan, emu oil is exactly what it sounds like- it comes from just under the skin of an emu. This brand does not raise emus for oil, they just get it as a byproduct of the emu meat industry, so no extra emus are dying for it, but itâs still nowhere near vegan friendly). I do love it though- the moisturiser contains heaps of humectants, emollients and occlusives, as well as urea. The emu oil is anti inflammatory. Itâs actually what Indigenous Australians have used for literally tens of thousands of years for skin conditions and sun damage.
Since using both a chemical exfoliant and my good moisturiser, my keratosis pilaris has gone away, and my skin is smooth and soft all over. So I donât mind that I canât get down too far on my chest with my facial skincare.
Hey Skintellectuals..Can steaming worsen the hyper pigmentation?I have a bit of it around my mouth but canât skip steaming coz only that helps with my sinus and migraine where the painkillers fail.âčïž
Jada is UNBELIEVABLY gorgeous, I would kill for skin like that!
I think the oil is to put a protective barrier on the skin to allow easy gliding. The same logic applies to men who use preshave oils before shaving and applying soap.
I do my skincare in my birthday suit too! BTW what do you recommend for stubborn pimples on the middle of the eyebrows?
What products did Cassandra mention in this video? I was interested in looking up one but the video is so long I canât find the right part anymore đ«

The biggest contributor to Jada Pinkett-Smithâs gorgeous skin, is her DIET and EXERCISE.
She has a very strict diet. And sheâs even said that she eats for nourishment and NOT for enjoyment.
So whatever she does to her skin will work, because sheâs totally solidified her skinâs health, from the inside out.
Hi! I love your videos. A lot of needed information in them.
But I have a question. Do you only use cosmetics in your acne treatment?
Have you ever used any anti-acne gadgets? lumispa, cavitation peeling, mezzotherapy, led mask, foreo luna etc.?
You could try and do a search. I know she's spoken about one of the foreos and led masks and other devices.
Hey casi! I was wondering if scaly pimples are normal and if so should I avoid exfoliators and acids until my skin heals? Regardless, I hope youâre doing amazingâ€ïž
They could be actinic keratosis. There are some videos on them.
I followed Jadaâs advice, it worked for me!
I believe the microdermabrasion machine she has is not the one that shoots crystals but the diamond one with different size micro-carved grinding heads that you can buy off Amazon, for example. Also, her skin looks amazing and her beauty is breath-taking but there is a skin filter going on. If you pay close attention you can see some skin hyperpigmentation appear and disappear when she moves.
I sometimes wear PJ bottoms when doing my skincare routine, but thatÂŽs mostly in the winter. In the summer it just feels good to not wear clothing.
So all in all she did pretty well! Love it!
Yup applying skin care in the nude is the best. No wet clothes âïž
