Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS Review

- The core idea behind Super Mario Maker is the ability to create, play, and share your creation, but the 3DS drops the ball on the last part of that credo.

#ign #supermariomaker #nintendo - Hry
Not being able to share online is a deal breaker. Destroys the purpose of the whole game. Definitely not worth the money.
And still scores a 7.2
dr34dh34d ign does not operate on a 10 point system. They say it's 10 but in reality it's 5
Yep definitely agree. I went with dragon ball fusion over this game because of that alone.
Rex amillion They gonna patch it sayed nintendo last day :)
Where did they say that? got a link?
Not being able to share online takes away half of the games purpose.
Mario_MarioPlushGUY
The other half of the game is downloading the levels, so the whole game is pointless.
sonic the rest is day of work for 8th and I will be a good time to time and money in your life with the help of our products are not the only thing that you can get a chance to win the game of golf and a few of them are not doing well and I have been in business since to get to know to use a different post to show you the best be funny that the only thing is that I have a grany the
We have streetpass
Mario_MarioPlushGUY it doesn’t take away the purpose for me because I’m only buying this game to play the new features in levels made by people. I don’t even care about making levels lol
@@cameronnelson1139 you should give it a try, you might like it. 😀
I love how the sinister music starts playing when he discusses the negatives of the game.
7.2 feels too generous. No online feature essentially undermines the entire purpose of the game.
you still get hundreds of mario levels, so no it's not too generous
I would say its harsh because i like this game but those features are like half the fun. I think its a fair score.
That's cuz it's IGN
AAA games get a 7 at minimum with IGN so a 7.2 is like a 4.
This review and the one by Gamexplain actually hit the nail on the head with the problem of this game. In the words of AVGN to Nintendo: "What the f**k were they thinking!?
E1ite Yoshi most baffling company's in videogames, great software completely hampered by their own crappy hardware and online infrastructure. Never seen a video game company live in their own bubble like Nintendo, pains me to think about where they go long term
I just watched Gamexplain before watching this one. And, yeah... Huge issue in the "sharing" part of the game. Do you think this could be solved by a patch or uptade if the community voices their negative feedback?
Paulo Tauren Well hopefully they'll update this game like they did with the Wii U version other wise everyone who said this is a shameless cash grab by Nintendo will be proven right. I just hope that this isn't a problem when Yoshi's Wooly World is released on the 3DS in Spring 2017.
I'll still buy it. It's like having unlimited Mario levels to play as long you have wifi.
SilentBudgie i already bought it xD
I'm really excited. Even if I can't share my levels, I want to see what kind of levels people with the Wii U version have made.
you cant use wii U level codes.
Ivan Garcia I don't know any level codes anyway. I plan to play random levels in 100 Mario challenge.
I'm glad some people will enjoy it...
SilentBudgie Me too i don't even care about online
SilentBudgie I have the same thought as you man
So many people don't get it. There is an online function, you can download and play TONS of levels, its just they come from the wiiU version. You just can't share your own creations given that you have the 3DS version, hencce you can't play other peoples 3DS version creations but you CAN play levels uploaded by people who own the wiiU version, which I'm fine with because I'm a selfish bastard who just wants fun for myself.
Thank you for commenting this. I wasn’t sure if we would have access to WiiU levels or not, but I feel like it’s somewhat worth buying to me since I’m not too worried about the ability to share levels, as long as I can play others.
@@Arroww but you cant search for levels you get a random set of levels to play
This game should only be bought or played by people without a Wii U. If you have the Wii U version, this game is completely useless.
***** But why? You can't search levels and you can't upload your own levels to the internet or even send them to the Wii U version. I just think the game is pointless and it would have been fine to scrap the game all together
+Flamingpaper But you can download people's levels and take them away with you to complete. And from what a person is saying nintendo said there will be a patch next year, presumably for adding online.
The fact that the online is horrible makes me REALLY reconsider buying this.
Well, I won't buy it anymore because of the online....
Nor can you play online levels.
vugibu oip you just cant search for them, but you can Play them rdm
ThinkingOfYou75 GORO
I bought it. I had no intentions in creating and sharing levels and I still don't and I would give this game a 9.0. If you have no intention in creating and sharing levels its even better than the Wii u version!
7.2? bruh. was expecting something like a 4.
ShinyClaws that's ign for you
the game is still good...its a nice port and has a really nice single player campaign...just the sharing level part is dead
looks like the money is staying in my wallet
Nice one xD
agreed. they disappointed me with the limited download. was looking forward to this game :/
SuperJumpz i was going to get then when it said you cant sjare levels online i was like whats the purpose of the game then. Im getting pokemon sun or moon thats more better and worth to buy for my 3ds
SuperJumpz *share
18 world's tho
Whats the point if I can't share them
I would have picked this up, no question, but the baffling choices they made, and the lack of online sharing totally killed my desire for this version. Ill just stick with the Wii U version and accept not having an on the go version.
Still love all things Nintendo, but their stubborn attitude about gamers desire for online play, and online features is frustrating. Admittedly, theyve been much better this generation, but then they go and take 2 steps back on a game like Mario Maker, which is just as much about online sharing and community as it is about building your own Mario levels.
Oh well, back to Pokemon.
Mario Maker Wii U is about online communities. The 3DS version is about local communities. The 3DS Mario maker is an on the go experience and not a direct port
Metalpug79 Wait for switch then.
Alex Herrera yeah sure wait more than half a year for a game thats on the Wii U and coming to the 3DS
zoruaboy its not on the go experience when you need to play online to do 100 mario challenge...
zoruaboy Yeah because it's worth it...
Still asking for this for Christmas. Not being able to share levels on thr the Internet is a downside, but now I can share them with my friends without them having to come to my house (my friends don't own Wii U's) and the single player campaign looks fun. Wow, I literally just saw a commercial for it while typing this. LOL!
Nintendo really dropped the ball here.
Rykio they threw the ball over a cliff
into an active volcano
Where an earthquake happened and then caved in the earth.
Who else forgot about this after getting there copy of Pokemon Sun and Moon?
TheNorth15 their*
ty
TheNorth15 only fools forget. Real fans won't
Me, I'm just gonna wait for mario maker on switch when they eventually release it
Ninten Man01 same here.
I have been waiting for this game on the 3DS for a long time
Dj Rampage too bad it doesn't have online
Dashie Plushie it does
Dashie Plushie Yes it does, you just cant share levels online
Dj Rampage there are reasons behind it
Can't you also share levels with friends?
I think the people who say this game isn't worth the money are wrong. Does the game have some unsettling disappointments? Yes, it sure does in the form of online restrictions! Despite this there is still so much offered by the game that makes it worth the price tag!
It seems as if people are overlooking the fact that there are 100 Nintendo made Mario levels to play right out of the box. Those 100 levels ON THEIR OWN could have been a 3DS game release! Look at nearly any side scrolling Mario platformer:
-super Mario world: 96 levels
-new super Mario brothers 2 : 90 levels
-super Mario brother 3: 90 levels
The first two Mario games had even less than 90 levels!
When you consider that the game basically has a standalone Mario title included AND a Mario level editor AND SOME online functionality/ level "shareablity", then there is really no reason to complain about how this game isn't worth 40$......
If you already chucked out 60$ for Mario maker on the Wii U then of course a handheld port of a console game wouldn't be worth your money. (Who ever thinks "oh I'll buy this game twice because it'll be better on handheld than console!")
Bgtgtbht
That's a fair point! I had only seen a video which showcased three levels completely so thats not much to base all the other levels off of. I safely assumed that with Nintendo being pretty experienced in Mario level design they could whip up some really fun and interesting levels with some of the new stuff introduced into Mario maker. Of course, I'll need to play the levels before I can speak for their quality :)
***** Yeah Im in the same situation pretty much! I think like only one of my friends has a 2DS but he just uses it for pokemon, which is understandable :P
***** Somehow I replied to my own comment instead of the people who commented on my comment... idk how to use the comments section.
mrWhiskerssss #Team3ds
It's cool I guess. Maybe they will add online features later!?
spike17spiegel I hope so!!!
They will add it to the Switch version. Play, create and share levels on the go.
spike17spiegel I told someone that they could right now they are worrying about the switch and if they put out a Mario maker for the switch then I will be getting it later
Sander Evers you can't share on the go because no internet
Shawnawesomeer I was talking about the version they most likely will make for the Switch ;)
What is the point if you can't download levels to play??
Jamie Baxter ikr
Jamie Baxter I think you can, you just can't upload your creations
You can download them. Just not search by ID and can't upload your own. Why does so many people misunderstand this? What is so difficult about it, this was confirmed since the first trailer.
Jamie Baxter Make levels.. lol
Jamie Baxter You CAN, just can't search ID or upload your levels
Fair review Jose. It is strange the lack of sharing in this game and even to send or receive a course, it can be time consuming and faster just to use the one 3ds and pass it around since communication is restricted to local anyway. It is still awesome as a concept and to have on the go, but it could have been better couldn't it have?
Not being able to share online is a pathetic omission... Nintendo still doesn't get online features nearing 2017...
MetroidFREAK21 The 3ds still has 59 million owners the 3ds would blow up if it had that many people
Lol then don't release it on a platform that cannot handle it haha
Crazy cookie dib there are lots of 3ds games that support online functionality. Plus, because of the current projected outlook of this game, there's barely going to be anyone buying this game, I'll be surprised if it even cracks 1 million sales. The 3ds hardware can definitely handle online functionality for this game.
I can't even share my levels on the Wii U version because Miiverse is trash.
+Angus Samson No, it can't. The servers already hold more then 1-7 million levels from the wii u version. The 3ds alone has sold more then 5 million copies, which would explode the servers, as the game shares both versions. Once the switch becomes a hit, they will add more servers and add online sharing. They are being clever. They are saving their money after the wii u failed and making a new console.
Oh that's stupid my neighbor hood DOSENT have a lot of 3ds players
Gaming with Kaden Caldwell Let your friends play your courses on your 3ds then. They can just use yours and see the courses you build.
I'm in the poorest part of my neighborhood. So nobody has a 3DS. Let alone even a TV.
Gaming_by_kaden no one in my city has 3ds.....
who thought no online, no course ids, or mystery mushrooms was a good idea? I don't own a Wii U so I was looking forward to this game.
I literally bought a 3ds just for this game... my first nintendo since N64.... Thanks nintendo, you made me loathe you :(
Tryhardblackguy at least at sharing and IDs though
SuperPickle15 your bought a gaming PC during the GameCube Wii Wii u and 3ds era?????
adion bashaj No, I had a PS2 during gamecube and wii, and than a PC.
SuperPickle15 oh kk
Love the touch at the with the review score being presented as coins in a Mario stage xD
Can't share online? Yep all interest I had in it is gone. GG Nintendo
I'm legitimately curious about this: did you guys ever get a reason as to why this game doesn't have the online sharing? Was it a hardware issue?
I personally don't care about that aspect since I'm not creating anything and just playing the random 100 Mario Challenge levels, but I feel it's something that could be explained.
I can't imagine it being a hardware issue. The store app works just fine, and the pokemon games have been transferring data between players for ages via the internet.
i think the problem is more of a server capacity, the servers must be overflowing with wii u creator levels, and the 3ds has sold A LOT more units than wii u, so if they allow 3ds players to actually upload levels like the wii u version , i think the mario maker servers would just completely overload from the sudden surge of millions of extra users uploading even more content.
So i guess this is a temporal hinderance on the product, maybe they will test numbers first before getting more servers to supply the demand but who knows?. for the most part this version is for downloading some levels at home and playing them on the go.
I thought about that too, but it doesn't explain why we can't search level by using level-id, or using our bookmarked levels on Wii U. If they don't want to overcapacity the server, then just make the 3DS version "read-only" server.
Do you ever think they will add this feature?
Dont' forget that X,Y, and ORAS allows you to trade, help, and share messages between players all over the world. Searching for levels AND having no Amiibo support is no escuse.
you said something about unless you have another friend with a 3ds close by, you won't be able to share stages cause you can't do it online. So i know you could do this by streetpass but is there a ds download feature so people without the game could try your stage?
I think Nintendo will fix the problems with an update.
The problem was clearly intentional. I doubt they'll fix it, unfortunately.
Are you serious? Nintendo never fixes anything . _.
hope so
*cough* they fixed sm4sh by nerfing Bayonetta, even tho she's still op! xD
J.J Videogames Studios ...
I don't have a wiiu so I'm still okay with the offline mode and the playlist mode to play other levels
XProject13 well you can go online mode if you have Internet.
So just to clarify, does the 100 Mario Challenge pull random created levels every single time you play, or is it the same levels just put in a random order?
I also wondering this, completely random every time you start the game would be great.
jms209 yeah cuz if that's the case then I'll get it. I've never been good at building levels but if I can play random ones every single time then that's worth it.
Hyteknology Gaming It's random created levels.
Austin Lopez so, Infinite Mario then?
My mum got this for me and I thought it was the coolest thing!
But then I realised how you can't share levels...
That's the thing I love.
Being able to tell the world about your amazing projects!
But since I don't have a Wii U...
I can't accomplish that dream...
Wow. Thanks for the heads up. I'm still going to buy it, just waaaay later down the line.
Yo, Nintendo, get your ish together. For your Switch, if it does not have online share option, you're done.
......or maybe not.
Xhere Rongestzu Nintendo will never learn I'm getting afraid that they will end up like Sega if the switch fails
R3pherade well Kimashima , the new CEO and President for Nintendo, probably won't make that happen.
Xhere Rongestzu Hopefully.
Luna is Best Waifu to kill off 3ds to focus their attention on the Switch?
what im getting here is that you only can't share the stages you build on 3ds, but you can still play all of the stages that others have built on wii u? If that's the case i don't have a problem since my favorite part of the game is playing others' levels instead of making my own
Thats not 100% correct. You CAN play other peoples stages, but ONLY random level that the game suggests you. So if you have seen a nice level on youtube and want to play it on your 3ds, you can't search for the level with the level code. And remember that a lot of stages wont be available, because there is no mystery mushroom in SMM3ds.
“it has a little something for everyone”
Got really excited when this was announced, because I love the Wii U version and I naturally assumed it would work the same way, allowing me to create on the go and then upload.
The fact that they neutered the games biggest feature has kept me from buying this. You'd think they would at least allow those with the Wii U version to export creations from the 3DS using local wireless. What the hell, Nintendo?
Was RAM on the 3ds an issue not to have uploaded online levels to play with?
I have both versions and althought I hated the 3DS version BEFORE even playing it based on all the reviews, I back my words AFTER having playing it. The Challenge Mode makes the game worth its purchase, at least if you liked games such as Ultimate Nes Remix. Its really cool.
You forgot to mention that the only way to get more items is to play the horribly designed and boring mario challenge.
I was bummed out but okay with not being able to share my own levels, but absolutely killed it for me was not being able to search for specific levels with course ID
This is the only game I actually had to purchase off the eshop and download it on a 2ds and new 3ds xl. for both me and my brother. Good thing we both use the same Nintendo ID
Jose easily writes the best reviews in IGN
hopefully they add not only street pass but full online features which can only be accessed through the internet
Is this worthwhile to get if you just want to play Mario Brothers? As far as I can see, it comes with 4 games worth of levels?
Or should I instead just buy them separately? I have no intention of making changes to the levels or creating new levels.
Can I share levels made on the 3DS version to the WII U version via local wireless, like you can to someone else's 3DS?
What's the music in the beginning
I am still getting it becuse I do not have a wii u
Sky Guy Same here
Different here and yes I have no Wii U
Sky Guy same
I just lost my wii u version so I'm getting this one
Me aswell because I don't think they sell Wii U's any more.
Do you think the sharing problems could get fixed in a future update?
GMNK_ Gaming no one knows for now. but in the future hopefully...
+Don Ditch Actually, a person said that nintendo said in a post or video that a patch is coming next year, presumably to add online sharing.
Little great source, guy. A "person" said it so it must be true.
Little i believe you, but when in next year is the update? Still considering buying it
+FlasherOfWangs Yeah, well... I trust him. Why? Because I don’t automatically say a person is lieing just because he didn't have a link. He said he forgot the site. But knowing the situation, it has to be true. If it isn't... *Shrugs*
I'll pick it up if they patch in online level sharing/browsing/starring.
Nice, well i had no plans to make levels or share em, but completely happy i can play all the levels people have made via Wii U. Perfect!
I want to play this and MK8...might as well get a Wii U for the full features in both games.
I still bought the game and have fun with the challenges and the courses from the Wii U version, but I do wish it was as expensive as the Wii U online version
I like how they always get Jose Otero to do the Nintendo reviews 😂
I might get it for my son on 2DS. Does it play well there?
so, how much of the levels made on wii u will i be able to play on the 3ds version? will there be some levels I just won't be able to play?
You will not be able to play courses that contain mystery mushrooms from the wii u version.
in the years 2013 and 2014, i downloaded a fan game of Mario, called Super Mario Bros. X (you should play it, it's good), and it has two modes
the first mode is the game's own story mode
the second is the one i most played, and it is the level editor mode
i created TONS of levels, in wich most of them were EXTREMELY HARD, and i loved it!
so, having a game, in wich i can create levels from SMB to NSMBU is a dream coming true
sure it's hard not having sharing system, but for me, that played all those years almost the same levels without sharing with no one, it is not a big problem
Will it work with the old Nintendo 3ds class?
i dont have a WiiU and was looking forward to some SeanHip One screen puzzles. But you cant even search so i might not even buy it now.
I'm still going to get it. I loved Mario maker on the Wii U and then I returned the Wii U but I missed this game
I went into GameStop to buy this game today and they didn't even know it was coming out. I bought it, but I really hope they add online sharing in a future update
Is this only for the new 3ds xl or the new 3ds?
This version is for all 3ds including 2ds
Not being able to share levels is totally a deal breaker. Hope to get the Wii U version this Christmas.
We can't share crated levels online? Well, that's this off my "Do want" list. :(
Catherine Bradbury same
Same. Huge bummer man, I was looking forward to actually playing this. I ain't buying a wiiu just for this one game.
I hope this doesn't stop Nintendo from making a port to the Switch.
Super ahmed They will most likely, since it is one of the best selling games on the Wii u
Super ahmed it won't lol
Super ahmed They possibly will.
Brandon 899 Yes. :)
Super ahmed No. :)
You can create stages and let them play it on your 3ds. You don't even need friends with 3ds's to have people play your stages in this game and that's made easier by being portable compared to Wii U.
Still, online sharing would've been supremely nice but i wouldn't say it's hard to share stages. Since it's portable and you can go anywhere, having friends and people play your stages is quite easy.
I didn't understand... Is there a way to play courses from the Internet or not. Because i want to have that "infinite" number on courses for me to play. Pls answear
Too nice. That 5.2 you gave Star Rush? This deserves the same. Nintendo isn't doing well this holiday season except with Pokemon Sun and Moon
is it for the new Nintendo 3ds or the old one?
Bruce Lee Both it doesn't matter the console
Alex Herrera, good because I have the old one.
Bruce Lee Both
Bruce Lee There is a tiny amount of new 3DS exclusives. If you see a 3DS game, chances are it’s for both 3DS systems.
I'm still Going to get This on 3DS, Hopefully for Christmas.
i don't understand this review. you can download stages right? so how do you do that if you can't upload them?
You can download stages created in the Wii U version, but only "Recommended" stages and stages for the 100 Mario Challenge, which severely limits things. If your friend made a level on the Wii U version, you can't enter the level code to play it on the 3DS version. Levels can't be uploaded to Nintendo's servers from the 3DS version at all.
Alan Redgown ah I see you can only download Wii U created levels. I love Nintendo but their decision making is utterly bizarre.
so wait I'm confused does this game have 100 built-in levels or not or do you have to go online to get them and if you have no Internet then you can't access the hundred levels challenge?
zemaj0 yes it has 100 built in that Nintendo have made. There is also a feature where where it finds 30 random stages at a time online.
chris crumbs thanks
Well, when i changed from a 3ds to a 3dsxl on July 2018, i was screwed...
Still miss mi old levels... :/
I would like to play mario again (the last time i played mario was on the nes in the early 90's) the one thing that stops me buying nintendo's systems is that there is no achievements/trophy support. I'm at that point in gaming where i need to be rewarded for playing a game and i'm just use to it to be honest. Having achievements/trophies always makes me go back to a game once i've completed it.
I hope nintendo add some sort of trophy support to their new system (i can't remember what it's called) that's the only way i'd consider buying it.
john kirk I honestly don't see the point of achievements.. they never give you anything (besides a few exceptions).
As i say mate i'm just use to achievements/trophies these days. I completely understand people that say they're pointless.
Achievements are an incentive not only to get your money's worth as much as possible but they're also a challenge. So I see why you feel like you need them.
But that's the thing with Nintendo, you don't really need it for their games since they focus mainly on gameplay, and thus most of them are fun. Nintendo has find its place as the second console nowadays anyway so not having achievements it's not a big deal with them because you already have your main on which you get trophies/achievements
Hope this comes out on the switch
Think about it, you can keep resetting your “campaign” and doing infinite levels. So it’s basically like your playing online levels.
Does this game work on other Dses like the old 3Des
Honestly, I don't care about sharing levels. I don't own a Wii U and I always thought Mario Maker would fit in so well on a 3DS.
All I wanna do is just create a mass of levels to piss off my friends.
This is exactly What i want to do.
TheFalconPunch ..1.q
You rock with that mindset! 🤣
Bro your the best finally someone who gets me i mean if you want to have fun well....HAVE FUN! Dont let a simple thing bummer you!
I find that it has to much water. I'd rate it 7.8/10
It's worth buying if you like Mario games. You have to earn all the features though. Nintendo made 100 custom levels you have to beat in order to get all the stuff in the Wii U version.
Just recently I bought the 3DS version on eBay for only $16... I don't know if I made the right choice or not.
Would that be considered throwing money down the drain? Or was it worth it because it was much cheaper than its original retail price?
If you’re having fun playing it and you’re playing it a lot I’d say it’s worth it
1:08 That is to be topped by SMM2 Story Mode.
Doesn't even deserve a 7.2 if you ask me. IGN is too generous.
Noah LOL I have never heard that
agreed^^
I liked it!
Well they are looking at the game as a whole, singleplayer, creation etc. All of that is fantastic, the only thing is lack of online sharing. 7.2 is a fair score for how they talked about the game.
Noah 7/10 - to much generosity
Thank you. I'll pass unless they patch in the ability to share online. Have it on Wii U and really dug the idea of making and playing stages on the go, but alas, no point if you can't share them.
I wanted a Super Mario Maker on-the-go for a long time! I haven't been able to play it as much as I wanted on Wii U and the 3DS version seemed like the perfect solution! But the fact that you can't upload courses online or even transfer courses from 3DS to Wii U and edit and upload them that way is extremely baffling... Looks like Nintendo isn't getting my money with this half-baked version of a great game.
has anything changed?? since it released:?
ninten-dissapoint :(
Uran Jakupi Is a God nintendossapoint?
yes fightnight14 thats what i mean
Uran Jakupi Is a God
I'm pretty dossapointed
There has been a lot of that here lately.
yes there has!
0:35 buttercup baby just to let me down
I feel like that end score is way too high given what is said in the review. The game is "Good" and yet you said it feels pointless?...hmm...
I mean he did say you can share locally and on streetpass, but if you dont have a 3ds user close to you then is not as enjoyable
I'm not too bummed on internet aspect. I think it would be cool to send my levels to my friends to play.
this game really makes you feel like mario
Love this game on Wii U and was going to get it until I learned about the lack of online sharing.
7.2 is way to high of a rating
Online sharing doesn't even matter, because nobody plays your levels unless you're famous.
Not my Name what if i don't even make levels, what if i want to go out and find a level to play specifically.
7.2 is too low. Got this game yesterday and it's tonnes of fun.
@@CallMePuddlez Do you even have internet when out and about?
@@hisuianpitch I didn't mean literally going out
if i dont have a wii u but i jave a 3ds should i buy this?
"Play, Create, Share"
I feel like I've heard that before to describe a similar game. ^_^ One that WASN'T dumb enough to nix online sharing when IT released a handheld version.
World of Final Fantasy, Dissidia, and LBP... Vita wins.
Even tough I don't generally like IGN reviews, this one, I totally agree with them.
Now that it is on nintendo select i’ll consider it
I am at an impasse on what version to get because the console version gives user creation sharing and the handheld version gives us a bulk of challenges to hone a player's creation skill set on the go.Should we just own both versions cause which is really the definitive experience? Guys please help me choose.
Super JaMaalrio Choose Wii U. As of today I have both, but the Wii U version is infinitely better.
Do you start The game with everything u locked?
i wish they add the ability to send to Wii-U version so when i'm done i can send levels to the wii U version so i can use them on there and maybe if they do that then you can upload 3ds stages bu uploading them on wii u version.
I imagine that this is how the creation of this game went: "Hey guys, I got an idea, it's surely going to be a money maker; Mario maker......
But bad!"
