Despite Hayate killed in this scene by Baki. This is the only scene in entire Naruto series where we saw Baki in action and invisible wind blade style. Baki and Genma who replaced as proctor in later episode despite being seen in many important occasion never utilised fully and are most underrated. Kishimoto did an injustice to these two characters. Even Kimmimaro and eternal gramps genin got the chance to show their special jutsu.
Kishimoto did an injustice to *all* of the characters by either under-using them, undermining their characters/role, and/or killing them in very contrived ways

then u are not the one who's been following naruto before shippuden..back then, after shippuden ppl were arguing why kishi doesn't go with the route of village ninja clash, and by mean ninja, we expect sword fight like hayate in here should be commonly describe by kishi
I feel so sad about his death ... When I saw it ...
Classic case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
what makes no sense to me is that when they did his hayate's backstory he was able to turn invisible. where tf was tht here?
This tension is something wht we missed later on in the series
Must’ve been the Hanma blood in him.
Naruto back in the days had some suspensefull moments and characters like Orochimaru and Gaara were terrifying
*-Hayate shows up-*
Me: Lmao he and L are literally twins
*-Hayate gets Screentime-*
Me: I like him
*-Hayate gets killed-*
Me:...
*crying in the corner cuz I really liked him*
just like L
Baki in Naruto:
Brrr one punch man: baki edition
Baki in Naruto Shippuden:
Hello, I'm just a normal ninja and I can't do shit.
Wow. This was the first introduction to wind chakra's cutting ability.
I never even realized it was a callback until now. 😯
Even basic swords in shippuden cut through people like butter. A sword technique like that should have cut Genma in half.
you mean baki?
@@creamycream7081 Nah, he just don't like Genma. Let that sink.
@@creamycream7081 he meant Sasuke.
Naruto has a weird thing with sword consistency. In this clip sword cant cut a mere shinobi jacket, later in shipuden basic sword can cut through kcm naruto and ten tails madara easily but one tail cloak armor can stop mountain busting tenpechi attack by jyuubi
Pretty sure Hayate was just weak 🤷🏾♂️
I like the filter you use here. Makes it feel like more classic 90s anime.
In any anime, when you land a hit on the enemy and then the enemy compliments you then says “Shikashi...” you know you are dead
Wasnt there a dude who looked just like this who was alive and well, well into sipudden?
Yup it's Genma and he's the reason why nobody remember Hayate.
@@ArkBagas he doesnt look one bit like him.
@Waistband Tuck watch your profile pic you blind piece of shit.
Ahh yes I love this comment section
Cocknball
The saddest part of this death is the nameless shinobi with a sword who actually lasted a solid 10 seconds against madara when he was killing a shinobi alliance platoon in the anime would've probably bodied baki.
I can't explain why i cared so much for this dude.
Baki, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro. Such cool savage team. Baki is not a trivial jounin to be the leader of the team. I wish he have more screentime, he is cool.
It was his only fight scene right? :/
Ok but why was Baki's jacket so protective then we see other sand shinobis getting fodderized by kunais?
I think Hayate had covid-19 Before it was a thing RIP Bro
Yeah...
Bat style justu?
"Hayate was a very skilled shinobi". And so he got one shot.
Cuz heaven forbid we let a character be strong without having special eyeballs
he was very sick
The power levels in this show are complete bullshit. Like any ninja that uses weapons like a ninja should always gets obliterated by anybody with magic powers
@@user-cz3vv2vf5u which begs the question: why send the dead-man walking on a mission you actually *need* him to return from? Seems counterproductive.
Damn he really got murked and everyone forgot, rip
0:10. Kabuto & Baki talking a lot of smack talk here like they were capable of defeating anyone who was behind that wall. Imagine if it was Kakashi or Jiraiya, they would have went back into hiding again
Or asuma and guy😂 they would probably and possibly dead at that time if ever.
I’m watching all of Naruto again with my younger siblings and they were so sad when he died 😭
How sad were they when haku died lol?
konoha style "breathing techniques, 7th form" : dance of the crescent moon
i remember thinking “omg no wtf man why would they do this” thinking he would be important in the storyline
Ah yes, surely there were no friendly ninja around in the middle of a NINJA village to help. All he had to do was set off an explosive tag or anything and half the defense forces would've pulled up.
Remember when Naruto was actually about Ninjas
0:50 bruh, that’s one of those “you should have gone for the head” moments
Nuuwuuu i didn’t want Hayate to die 😭🥺 i really loved him
Baki after getting hit in the shoulder:
*You should have gone for the head*
I was sad he died because he looked like he could have been a really cool character
I remember very well when he died, I was 7 years old that time back in 2004, as a kid-extremely sad about it when it happened.
Now if he sharpened his sword a bit more that coulda killed him, that or if Hayate decided to let go of his sword and fight back in another way.
Any number of possibilities a skilled swordman *should* have been able to pursue, but nope... some people try to say "but he was sick" to which I reply "then why did they send *him* when there are plenty of comparable dudes who don't have anime walking-dead cough
In the uncut version Baki throws so many wind blades that it lifts Hayate up in the air until he finished. Dude basically turned him into a piece of paper that just got out of the shredder.
Hayate had so much potential, its sad that we didint get to see him develop.
came to see how well I would be able to recognize ´Johan Liebert´ from him
Me too lol
Hayate, Genma, Izumo and Kotetsu where always my favorite side characters, it was sad to see him die like that :(
Same!! Like "There goes one of my faves qwq"
I still cried for this minor character. I was still terribly sad because it’s just a fact that I liked him even though he coughed every 5 seconds.
I'm still hate baki, stilll hope kakashi or even hayate GF fight Baki to the death.
My dream never came true cuz naruto is over.
I believe Baki dies but I forgot.
Baki had a worse fate. He was completely forgotten in Shippuden and not even showed in the war
Baki appears on Shippuden in a filler episode from the 4 great ninja war to bad he didnt die he deserved konohas justice not even hayates gf wants some revenge i mean wtf with Kishimoto.
All you baki haters are kinda insane lol. Baki, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro....and especially Gaara... if we're really going there, they're equally to blame for the "crime" of following what they thought were the orders of their kazekage.
If orochimaru could be forgiven.. Baki is nothing
Why would this guy not just start screaming bloody murder? Like he’s in his own village. Just wake people up so they know about the evil dudes conspiring
Poor hayate
Dude you have 2 messages.
@@sidiksurat1878 which the another
@@Banggeek watch your profile pick 😓
Hayate should've cheated better during that Chunin exam.
I was actually liked him really much. He even made it into my top 10 favorite characters. I don't really know why. He was just cool and I felt a bit sorry for him because of his cough.
R.I.P Hayate Gekko.
Imagine it was Kakashi or Guy instead. RIP Baki and the entire attack plan
Lmao baki isnt stupud enough to try those either of them
"You should have gone for the head"
Thanos 2019
I miss the old shaggy at times artstyle.
Baki the Grappler grappled his sword, das how hayate died.
This was literally how shinobi fought back then before boruto but still badass asf 🤘🤘
Why do I feel like this guy dies all the time? Like I’ll see him in another episode getting killed by someone else
omg same, I feel like I have wacth him die more than once and idk why?
He has the looks of a common ninja😁
Despite Hayate killed in this scene by Baki. This is the only scene in entire Naruto series where we saw Baki in action and invisible wind blade style. Baki and Genma who replaced as proctor in later episode despite being seen in many important occasion never utilised fully and are most underrated. Kishimoto did an injustice to these two characters. Even Kimmimaro and eternal gramps genin got the chance to show their special jutsu.
Kishimoto did an injustice to *all* of the characters by either under-using them, undermining their characters/role, and/or killing them in very contrived ways
Never knew this guy died...Kinda sad now.
Hayate's death was just... completely forgotten, same for his girlfriend who said she'd avenge him but nothing happened after that, it didn't help that right after Hayate's death Genma who looks and dresses just like Hayate took over his role as the "Proctor" of the Chunnin Exams.
Rip best girl
Hayate we all loved you
Okay what?
@@geovelopez7687 it's a joke it's making fun of the fact that ppl argue over "best girl"
@@gu8995 Okay
No hold on that was orochimaru with his test tube baby
This was true ninja fight
He should have just screamed and wake everyone up then shout what’s going on
Aren't they in konoha ? This dude has no way to ask for back up in his own territory.
I mean, he could have attacked his head instead his shoulder which was protected by armor
One of the most forgotten characters, but I think that the kid with the crossbow from back when Naruto, sakura, sasuke and kakashi fought zabuza the first time is the most forgotten character
In this right moment in the video, a God has died, lets pay respect to the true god of shinobi
Sword user in konoha are rare
Ngl I actually liked hayate and his sword style was really cool
1:01, Uh oh, He's going to do the Thousand Years of Death!
One thing I never understood.
If the Sand was planning a surprise attack on the Leaf, why leave his body there as a signal?
Kabuto took his body lol
@@clashoclan3371 no the Konoha ninjas found his corpse, Kabuto just took some dna sample
It probably would have been more suspicious if Hayate just disappeared
Hayate living up to the name of the village... Weak as a leaf.
Man he got bodied in no time
Rest in shit Hayate. Konoha sided with the enemy and your killer didn't even get punished.
This and Dosu's death still leave huge question marks, like why did they get put out like a couple of chumps. You'd expect the guy in charge of the 1v1 combat exam to do better than this.
Morreu de forma injusta, certeza que se a história dele fosse mais aproveitada, seria um dos melhores jounnis de Naruto.
Wish they showed more of Baki's techniques and fighting style
hayate was just another red shirt
Nah, Hayate got killed off early because Kishimoto forsaw into the future that Corona was coming, so he got killed off now so he wouldn't infect his fellow villagers. Duh, simple.
The only time baki did something. After this he was surpassed by all of his students. At least kakashi and his fellow sensei's was above their students up until the last arc of Naruto. Baki is just.... There.
Don’t get me wrong I like boruto and all especially the manga but it will never be as dark as naruto
