Just read up on that Freddo story and it's absolutely disgusting and utterly unforgivable.
Freddos used to cost 10p.
I find it even worse that people try and paint it as a negative thing. Do you know how iconic and sensational a freddo is? Imo opinion they should have worked overtime AND created a completely new functional factory just to earn a bite of a Freddo.

My wife is a deputy sister in a fracture clinic of the local hospital. She often gets Freddo's for her team members as a thank you for their hard work & dedication, something that the managers take for granted.

All that needed to be said is that this stuff just happens. It’s never ideal but it’s not crippling in any means.
Perhaps David kept saying orange not papaya, oh I forgot Ron isn't in charge anymore. Perhaps McLaren should have sprung for separate rooms for them at the hotel?
As a McLaren fan i have faith in Stella as hes done a better job than our last savious in Seidl.
It's really ironic that the only top team not in turmoil is Ferrari. I'm more shocked about that than anything else.

I'm a McLaren fan... I'm sure more details surrounding Sanchez's sudden departure will be revealed in the coming weeks if not days. A shame as I was excited to see him return to the MTC, but now I'm wondering who they have in mind to replace him instead... But if it's the case that he just didn't fit the role or lacked enthusiasm for it (which happens) then letting him go now is the kindest thing McLaren can do rather than dragging him to the end of the season.
Rob Marshall has been shuffled to replace him.. kind of.
The fact it's not the McLaren Indy car team doing something stupid, also adds to the surprise. And BTW love you do videos like this now, also that you're so good at it that it doesn't look or sound like something you put together in a hurry.

After all, the guys and gals who design and build these cars are way, way more important, and there have been a TON of moves between teams of these key staff over the past 12 months. Next point, ZAK BROWN....How the billio can McLaren extend this guys contract to 2030?. Six years in the job, and Norris after six years is still winless, and Rookie Piastri wins a Sprint Race in 2023, thats it, the cupboard is bare. Any such under performing CEO in the real world would be shown the door and his car parking space removed. But McLaren extend his contract for another 6 blimey years. Does he have videos of someone?

@@Saegan7 What I notice is that anything done well is apparently Zak’s doing, and anything done badly is someone else’s fault. Notice that? That type of leader rarely gets his team to the top of the mountain.
@@sturod2016 Zak's job is bringing in money, and doing what the Team Principal tells him.
If the car is designed poorly, that's not Zak's fault. If the employee they signed isn't working well, that's also not Zak's fault. If there was a lack of funding, then Zak would be to blame, but that's not the case.

Maclaren have had brilliant drivers, but alas crap cars for quite some time. Alonso "OMG this has no power". Honda engine is as week as a paper bag. Honda at Mclaren 2015-2017 then Renault 2018-2020. After 2018 season Alonso left as had Honda So Mclaren were left with the Merc engine 2021- and is still in use today. Red Bull on the other hand had the renault engine 2007-2018 which was also was re-badged to TAG Heuer. From 2019 they use and still are using the Honda Engine. Maclaren cannot achieve the best with great engines and wonderful engineers, there has to be a terrible link within the chain as the lack of improvement is far from over.
Zak is....well, let's just say it's not going out on a limb to say he's not the EASIEST guy to work with/for. But a slick political operator he is, bumbling his way into a spanking fresh new deal when it looked midway through last year he was nailed on to be sacked. Zak takes care of Zak, that much is clear.

no offense this is not as big a deal as you think... David Sanchez is good, but imo not great. You poach aero guys from Red Bull, not Ferrari. Sanchez is fine, but if McLaren want to really improve, get a designer from the top dogs of aero design. Ferrari's qualities are more so in engine manufacturing and power delivery... I wouldn't say Ferrari's strengths are aero, it's not that it is a weakness, but it's not a main strength of theirs.
Well Mclaren poached Rob Marshall from Red Bull which is a engineer who worked alongside Adrian Newey.
