Seeing the ball miss the last two pieces of snow in the beginning kills me
1. The ball erases the whole white circle and speeds up over time.
2. The border shrinks, the trail gets longer, and the ball grows slightly every bounce.
3. The camera follows the ball and it gets bigger every bounce.
4. The border shrinks and the ball gets smaller and faster every bounce.
5. The border is a square that shrinks and tilts every bounce.
6. The side or the border the square hits gets closer to the center every bounce.
In number two it get s bigger too

The destination is boring, a single solid outcome like the circle being black. Watching it progress is the point and I love it
Idea: every time a ball collides with another they combine into 4 smaller balls. Every time a ball hits the wall it gets bigger.
I'd be interested in seeing one where the ball is bouncing in a square that tilts with every bounce, but the direction of the tilt changes depending on which wall the ball bounces off of, as if the bounce is imparting force to the square.
Finally! Something that rots my attention span less!

Some of these feel like the ball is specifically aiming towards certain points (especially the first video, when it suddenly changes direction), kind of like its... sentient. Anyone else think that? I hope it's not just me

You can add more balls and map them to a palette of different sound samples. For example, a drum-ball or something. These can be either in one or in different areas to let them collide with each other interfering each others beat

I have an idea: The ball has afterimages that despawn after a couple seconds, but each bounce adds time to the despawn counter (eg: first bounce is 2 seconds of afterimages, next one is 2.05 seconds of afterimages). Could also add speed or size per bounce so it doesn’t last forever
I’m grateful for this video as im trying to get over a very traumatic situation that i’ve never seen before..
And it’s helping me restore my mental balance.

Edit: in other words, its adhd inducing, because it doesn’t focus on one thing long enough.
Finally something that ACTUALLY cure attention span, i was tired of people saying 1 minute long simulations cures their attention span
idea! make it so then there are two balls. every time they collide, 2 new balls are added with a random gravity. when a ball hits the left side gravity switches and adds another ring, and if a ball hits the right side gravity returns to normal and removes a ring.

Might be funny if you made gravity point upwards with the camera following the border too. It'd look like the ball is the one bouncing.

@@Bartekkru100 IRL it'd be the exact same thing, but in a simulation it could be different. Different coding might lead to different results, and I'm curious as to what those results might be.

If you code it correctly it shouldn't matter much, at most floating point errors could add up over a very long time to diverge a little bit.

I would be interested in the ball staying still and the border moving, but with the camera staying stationary. Kinda like #3, but where it's actually the border moving, not the camera following the moving ball

fun little video but I found that the musical notes were totally arbitrary and did not follow any pattern other than when the ball made contact with the perimiter, some note, it did not matter what note, was played, where it hit and what note was played were not in sync at all. It is kind of like if you had a monkey banging on a keyboard and the corresponding music, corresponding with each bang the monkey made but somehow the background music was playing O Fortuna or whatever.... Kind of distracting really, but perhaps that's the point.
Do one where the ball can interact with it's trail
