- Inside of the concentration camps established by the SS, there were many different execution methods and sites used to kill prisoners. Between Block 10 and Block 11 at Auschwitz was a firing range which struck fear into the hearts of the prisoners. Known as the Death Wall, an unknown amount of prisoners and prisoners of war were shot by firing squad in the courtyard between the two blocks. Many prisoners were taken into Auschwitz from outside prisoners to be executed on the Death Wall.
It has been estimated that around 17,000 prisoners and POWs were executed on the Death Wall. The SS guards dealt with rebels and people involved in the resistance by shooting, and many members of the Sonderkommando were executed on the firing range following the Sonderkommando Revolt. It was a terrifying place where thousands of lives were taken.

Just wait for that perspective when you see a real firing squad wall and notice the bullet holes. Here they were probably shooting at them with water guns lol, or they cleaned it so well the holes disappeared. You would need to be a literal NPC to believe this propaganda.

The Nazis built 4,000 concentration camps to carry out their brutality and horror. More than any other faction in history. And also because they created industrialized mass murder. Hopefully, something the world will never see again. There are a lot of lessons to learn from this epic catastrophe. It’s not a competition. Cult mentality is very, very dangerous.

I’ve always thought exactly this. It’s the same when I hear historians talking about Henry VIII executing his wives he murdered them. Henry VIII was a serial killer as was many other historical figures but we’re always taught they executed people not murdered them which is factually accurate.

They were going to die with lack of food as many did- the Zionists were well aware that this would happen! Nothing was ever done to release them despite Ariel photography showing them as the camps were open to viewing and not hidden away- some camps let the inmates out to work on farms and they returned with food! When they were eventually released most lived in the same place as they had nowhere to go!

I don't know how you keep your sanity delving into this horrors everyday. I'm writing my grandmother story so I watch many witnesses and read many books, despite living with the holocaust everyday of my life, I keep dreaming of it now, because I'm delving into so many stories. Although all my grandparents were survivors who lost most of their families, I can't fathom the horrors, the evil, the scope of this terrible time in history

It was, on a smaller scale in the former Yugoslavia. The Serbians murdered around 8000 men and boys over the age of 15. The cemetery is in Srebrenitsa.

When I was at secondary school my class and I went here I still remember that day like it was yesterday when you reach the tracks that go in different directions it's like you can hear the pain the screams the fear the children calling out for their mum and dad and the elderly forced apart and the disabled and the inferm what I saw I will never forget
When I was in a history class we watched schlinders list everyone was laughing but I watched in fear I asked to move to another room
I remember it too. Its good to see all the propaganda on your own eyes.. I mean this wall is a good start to break the spell, at least for those with an intellectual capacity noticing that there are no bulletholes. In my case it was the "facility" photo in the museum.. the photo I later learned it was the allies who bombed it and then brought all the bodies out on display and they tried to pin it on germnas lol. That was my slap in the face, but this wall is a good one too.
I paid a visit to Auchwitz a few years ago & had a look at this wall,it is full of bullet holes, my Polish partner was so upset she wouldn't even go into the courtyard.
I've been there too... I was curious that there were NO bullet holes. I later looked it up... it was reconstructed after the war... you couldn't have seen bullet holes

In actuality one clothed prisoner would bring out two naked condemned men, one on each arm to face the wall. A single guard would shoot each naked prisoner in the head by pistol or rifle. The clothed prisoner then moved away to other duties.

These are valuable documentaries. I just wish that the video images behind would complement the spoken text. These are basically the same footages as used in other videos regardless of the context in the same sequence, sadly. Somewhat more attention on detail would enhance the quality of this video series considerably, since this is a dead serious topic !

If so, there are millions of letters, photographs, there is Yad Vashem and the Museum in Washington with tons of public accessible documentation. After viewing a few of your impressive videos and research, I just got the impression that you basically use identical background footage. Thumbs up for your great work and thank you for dealing with this difficult and tragic topic in human history (which is right now about to repeat itself…).

I visited in 1999, Museum estimates at least 20K were murdered against this wall, mainly Poles.

I've visited this wall. The photos don't reflect the actual ambience of the place.... eery to say the least, but interesting to know that this all happened without anybody outside the local area knowing it was.

Why did you fail to mention that not only Poles were murdered there? Many nationalities from all over Europe were shot there. Including Jews, in masses. My late dad was imprisoned there, and was saved half dead, by the Russian army.
