  • Daniel ‘KidPoker’ Negreanu has been a household name in the poker industry for many years. He has amassed an incredible $42,053,305 in live tournament winnings and currently sits 3rd on the All Time Money List.
He recently took to the online felt to battle heads-up against one of the best heads-up players of all time, Doug ‘WCGRider’ Polk. Although he lost this challenge he put on a valiant effort and ended up challenging Phil Hellmuth to another heads up match after Hellmuth publicly stated that he thought Negreanu did not play well against Polk.
In this live interview with Negreanu we will look at exactly what propelled him to the top of the poker spotlight and how he has managed to stay there for so many years.

Negreanu was asked, "What is your best tip for not being a losing poker player," his response- "Don't agree to a heads up match with Doug Polk" lmao

Maybe ten years ago, I was playing 2/5 at Bellagio when the room was jam-packed with tourists. Negreanu came strolling by, heading towards the restrooms adjacent to the Sports book. A couple of very young 1/3 players loudly greeted him. Not only did he kindly acknowledge them, he made their day by chatting with them on a very personal level for well over five minutes. Classy guy!

What Negreanu Said about "whats your goal on the tournament" is Very good. My goal on any tournament is to
    1:play well
    2:cash
If I dont cash but I know that I played well and got out by bad luck Im happy, because next tournament I know that Im gonna cash if I keep playing well
