That's a neat idea. I could definitely clear out my cabinet space and see if I can fit that tray under it. Thanks for the links!
This is much neater than a plastic tote. I'm tempted to try it in my pepper plant seedling grow-rack. A metal rack with a plastic cover makes a mini greenhouse.
I tried the plastic tote thing and it didn't work out, mold grew quickly hard to control temps and half the plants melted. I will also definitely try this method. Good luck to you!
Yeah that's what drew me to it in the first place. It is very compact and inexpensive. I think I got 5 for under $20. They came as a pack.

@@GavinKohAquascaping I've got all shapes and sizes of seed trays. I have a big garden every year and save seed from everything i can. Mainly peppers

Can you share the exact glass pot that has the needle leaf in it? There's so much out there, but the one you're using is perfect size of what I'm looking for. It's tiny, thanks

I've grown a few different hygrophilas and crypts emersed. The hygros grow vastly different in air vs in water, and they drained the soil of it's nutrients even faster than they do under water! I can't wait to see your epiphyte update. I'm going to try some anubias nana this spring, and if it goes well, I'll be trying some buces someday.
I'm sorry to say that my Buces did not do well, they all melted. Anubias did okay, but slow growing. The AR is doing amazing and will be planting that more now. Currently also trying pogostamon and hygrophilia.
@GavinKohAquascaping What kind of buces did you try? I mostly have brownie and dark blue.
@@wheelbite14 I have Buce Kedagang. In water it is very hardy and fast growing. I've sold forests of them.

Thanks for your nice comment. For me the light I'm using is an inexpensive LED aquarium light. I've listed it in my description as well as all the equipment I use :) But if you have natural sunlight, then that would be the best!
every-time i've done a emersed set-up with that much humidity all the buces would eventually grow mold/web fungus on them over the course of 2-3 weeks and all die to that. You're almost certainly going to need a LOT more ventilation.
Anubias never had issues, but buce seems to be very suspectible to mold/web fungus.
I use water pump to circulate the water and water spray timer i dont need to do much and my plants are doing good
