- Kenya has some of the best beach resorts in the world if you ask me. This week we are visiting Medina Palms in Watamu, Kenya for a little weekend getaway. (Getaway from Nairobi!!! 😅)

Medina Palms is ideal for families and groups as they offer fully furnished apartment style accommodations which includes a full kitchen. The full board option is also available which we recommend since the food was very good. (Especially the seafood of course)
A lot of activities are also available at the beach resort like kayaking, bodyboards, and more which are actually included with your stay.
You can also visit the marine park which is always fun or you can do what we did and go visit the Local Ocean Conservation who are there to save the sea turtles!

There are two rresorts won the best last year from maasai mara ,Angama and Richmond they are amazing..
Okay this is the CZcamsr in me talking but I realized a very huge difference when you switched to the go pro. Like the main camera has better video quality, is this an informed observation? Coz I am currently shopping around for a vlogging camera and gopro is also on the list of considerations

Such a beautiful spot. It reminds me of 2018 went to a seminar in watamu and stayed in hotel next to medina palms. So one of my friends suggested we go and check it out. The manager was so cool she took us all around the premises and even allowed us to go in and check the apartments.

WOW! Glad you guys enjoyed my hometown. And yes it's a good idea for you to move to Watamu. I personally worked in Nairobi for some years and I officially quit 8-5 moved back to my hometown Watamu and I am now full focusing on my CZcams channel which is also about travel & lifestyle

Beautiful place but we really need to see the rooms well. You have only shown partially. Please give us thorough room tours. We only see Tracy pointing ....hahaha
We do our best to showcase the room but also be quick about as people are more interested in the overall picture and vlog aspect than spending 5 minutes on a room tour. I'll do mu best to find a balance. 👍🏼

Great video with amazing places and hidden gems. One thing though, do less of portrait videos and more of the scene videos especially when showcasing the destination e.g..room tours. We often hear the description without a video/picture of the place being described.
Im trying to keep the room tours short as most people want to see the bigger picture and the vlog aspect of the video. What I'll try to do tho, is to overlay footage of the room while Tracey talks. 👍🏼
