- A trip to Kenya is never completed without a beach vacation after a bush adventure. So after bringing my family, who came all the way from Canada, to Ishara in the Maasai Mara for their first ever safari, we had to bring them to the Kenyan Coast.
This time we chose Hemingways Watamu. First of all because Watamu is our favorite place on the coast and second because Hemingways offers some of the most beautiful apartments on the coast.

But you know us, even though we had a beautiful family room at Hemingways, had access to different pools, a beach and to a lot of delicious food, WE HAD TO GO ON ADVENTURES!
For the sunset, there is no better spot in Watamu than Lichthaus. Amazing ambiance, good food and tasty drinks with an unbelievable view of the sunset!

Dave i think you should do a travel guide report in PDF form and sell it on your channel for places you visit or visited so that anyone who subscribed to your channel maybe can have next time they visit places youve been to i.e watamu.....
the travel guide includes all charges associated,all places stayed,a review of the place,modes of transportation,relevant references/contact person(s) etc.....

When I visited Kenya, I too was blown away by the hospitality of everyone I met. Of all the places that I have traveled, Kenya remains at the top for the most hospitable, accommodating, kindest people I’ve had the pleasure to meet. I really enjoy your channel and the glimpses of places I was to visit or revisit!

I love how regardless of the fact that there are taxis around, you still keep Robert's number and you call him for the tuk-tuk every time you're in Watamu.
Robert is our guy. He is such a genuine man. Always on time and I'm a big Tuk Tuk fan so! :)

Your dad is right about the Kenyan people. You mingle with them and you get a very different and great kind of fibe that you can't really explain. Loved it back in the late 80s to mid 90s. I'll be back.
