Just having fun with this one! Hope you like a bit of cheese. I double dare you to play it when you're on aux duty. Ahhhh
Some people were asking why Gleam (Loungin Remix) isn't on streaming services. Well it's coming November on Spotify/Apple/etc. If you're following me there you wouldn't be able to miss it.
Been working on some new sounds recently, tunings I've never used before. My intention right now isn't to save it all for an album. Instead I want to try and get new stuff out more frequently. Appreciate any feedback while I try new things.
Scale Workshop 2 announcements are imminent!
If you want to support me, please spread the word about my music wherever you meet music fans. I also do a monthly voice chat with ko-fi members. This year the ko-fi gang covered all my music-making expenses including fresh cables and a keyboard stand for the new studio space and covered all my web hosting (Sevish site, split-notes label, Scale Workshop)! You guys are great!

hearing microtonal 90s house piano chord stabs is the highlight of my day
Such an unexpectedly natural fit... Or it would've been unexpected if Sevish wasn't a huge part of my proper introduction to microtonal, microtonal just goes so well with those kinda 90's and early 2000's sounds
when the tofu is exotic
Haha
when the imposter is sus
This song sounds like what seeing a new colour is like
holy shit youre right
Was indeed on aux duty, saw the notification and had to play it. Car is now straight bopping
i pictured a car bobbing up and down to the music while cruising down an interstate 🚗
you played treasure
My favorite song on the album! This one blew me away. Mario Kart in 4D vibes
this sounds like an orange being eerily deformed out of existence but like in the best way possible
Hahaha I love that
It's what the orange hears as it meets my stomach acid
It's the orange watching the video about turning a sphere inside out and successfully everting its peel.
@@brainandforce hahahahaha
My brain recognized that the footage was mirrored but for some reason I was thinking it was mirrored footage of you driving in a tunnel. I was like "damn this is the longest tunnel ever" until I saw grass and realized I was stupid.
i can only imagine racing in the finals of a trackmaina tournament with this on in the background, its so fitting with how hard and sometimes tense this song is in combination of trackmaina's insane level design.
Tense is a *great* descriptor for this song, it sounds like a really high-stakes chase and there's this urgent sense of *oh fuck we're really doing this, oh god*
Which game?
If it's TMUF/NF with TMUnlimiter, then yeah, the track would probably look like the video.
Please, please make more like this. 22-edo eurobeat is exactly what I need!
Yeah recently I was thinking I should give eurobeat another attempt. Gonna be honest, I'm working on mainly dnb projects right now. But this is something I should come back to.
@@Sevishomg hype
"Hope you like a bit of cheese." I LOVE cheese. Absolute banger. It just so dang upbeat.
I love where it goes at 1:10
the little bells in that section make my brain go ding. its so tasty
Sounds like ragtime house
this bit goes hard
Microtonal music, the final frontier and the man blazing the trail.
Absolutely wild! When the description says "I don't even care" then you know you're in for something hilarious. This totally delivered for me, thank you.
my fav track from the album i think
chords r too sick
Before discovering your work I thought microtonal music was just this theoretical concept with no real life application because it always ended up sounding completely awful. But your stuff is so much fun to listen to, refreshing and original that it really made me appreciate the microtonality. Especially here it just gives me this roller coaster vibe like I don't even know what to expect behind the next corner. Extremely well written man, keep it up.
Try listening to some of fastfast’s stuff too if you like Sevish
Guys I think Sevish likes 22-TET
Not just sevish himself. We all do
micro eurobeat can't go wrong
this is QUITE lovely
So now I can hear what it's like to drive drunk AND high at the same time!
Rocko is the best doggo!
This is the music that plays when you race a track in reverse in Mario Kart intentionally.
This is probably how it felt to ride back home when watching through the window as a kid
that but also you're playing sonic advance 2 on the first gameboy trying to angle it so you can see the screen with the passing street lights
Best description
just a perfect amount of bouncy energy
I appreciate the genre hopping, but when are you going to get into microtonal Krautrock?
I heard that transition sound effect when I bought the album months ago and thought it was complete coincidence that it was the same as the one from Initial D. Looking through the comments and description, I'm happy it wasn't a coincidence 😁. Possibly my favorite show ever. I must have at least partially rewatched it 4 or 5 times because the good parts are just that good.
Sonic 2 bass!!!
This is a certified O-Major moment
DENSEST CHORDS KNOWN TO MAN THIS IS AWESOME
sevicious !
*Sevishous!
They should totally hire you.
I'm not sure who "they" are, but they totally should
woah Sevish calm down
22edo is just so smooth to work with, might be my favorite ''alternative'' tuning overal
I love that weird boomerang sound effect
This has become one of my favorite songs of all time, no joke. It’s so good
This brought joy to my soul
I dont even have a license but I just wanna run right into the highway rn
oh my god i love the cheesyness of this. (am literally wearing a kniteforce records shirt right now, for the record haha)
The microtones sound like varispeed at times, and given the theme of the track, it makes sense.
That's my coping mechanism, anyway
omg its on youtube
this is on of my favourite sevish songs. ive been playing this at least once a day lmao. i love it so much it makes me happy. its just so silly in the best way possible. like who's even rocko?
Glad you like it, this was a lot of fun to make!
i think rocko is his dog
@@ickumas hmm perhaps
brilliant.
the only issue is that i have to recreate all my shitty 12-tone music now and that's gonna take forever
Dude i hope you are proud of yourself!
Its criminal you have no shelf full of awards!
This could totally be in a Sonic game
This one and Saccades are my favorites of Morphable.
As above, so below.
I feel pleasant vibes of The Prodigy's The experience album!
Who would've thought that microtonality adds up that much to eurobeat. Very nice
this simultaneously does and doesn't sound like a sevish song
Yup
Dear Mr. Sevish,
Do score the next Mario Kart game,
Please and thank you.
WE LOVE ROCKOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOOOOOOOO
This the best song I have ever heard!
Has some of the insanity of Cardiacs. Love the new work!
I love it!!
I love it
YES!!!!!
FINALLY!!
ITS COMPLETE!!!
And, i just got home from a trip so this is fun to listen to after that.
So good.
We need more of this. This is freaking awesome
By far my favourite off morphable! Neat to see it get a video :3
I like it a lot!! 😘😘😘😘
Oh this is great. Love it.
Good work. :)
This is such a bop I love this song so much
niceeeeeee
i love it!
Damn, I used to hear droplet a lot back in the day, I'm glad you are still making new stuff
This is cheesier than Pizza Bianca
LOVE
Mario Kart Acid Edition
Banger
Such a fresh style of eurobeat, mixes super well with 22edo as well
nice
Nice
love this shit
Yesssszssssss
wangan midnight maximum microtune 22EDO
Lmao awesome
It hurts
🤸🤸🤸🤸
super good! what synths are those? Did you hook up a Roland JV or EMU Proteus to be microtonal!!
Mostly Vital for the synths! And TAL-Sampler for the Korg M1 piano
@@Sevish hm i see. Can TAL-Sampler use multiple samples? So it can be more realistic with xen soundfonts
@@TachyBunker Yes it can, and I know what you mean, though it's a manual setup which took me a while to make sure I got it right. But since making this track, Decent Sampler has added microtuning support, and I found it much easier to just set up an instrument in there for my Korg M1 piano samples, as it correctly handles selecting and tuning samples with any tuning you throw at it.
Is that the synth from super Mario kart in the raimbow road ?
what is that vibrato synth noise at 1:11?
Sevish what site is that
Does this drive someone with "perfect pitch" insane?
You just try to not think about it too much
Not really, I got used to it - at first it was quite jarring but after a little while it's just..... like a set of new pitches.
Also sometimes it's weird because some chords sound very close to something in 12 TET but with a note or notes slightly sharp/flat but it's very pleasant.
Whats rocko
Inital DsM
It remembers me this famous song from Béranger Seguin, I'm sure it inspires him: czcams.com/video/6YFvr_BZYhE/video.html
who's rocko
I think on his blog bio I once read that Rocko is his dog :)
Hay yah! And further, what's all this about his "... Modern Life", eh?
@@lucabaar1 what?
Certainly, I understand now that Sevish is an entirely computerized set of algorithms.
Similar to how there are an abundance of computer generated CZcamsrs, that don't exist as actual living people but use speech generator & other video editing software to EMULATE a human entertainment medium.
Sevish deserves no credit as a human being with novel musical talents or interests. "Sevish" is a set of computer algorithms that produces "artificial songs".
This human world will end soon & it is probably going to start in the UK or somewhere far off in Europe.
yeppp
???
exactly
yep and ??? and exactly
No one deserves credit for anything, really. Life is _literally_ incredible when you get down to it.
And apparently, here we are.
I'm still gonna applaud the people who bring forth delicious music.
great as always
have you been using ableton microtuner? it's super intuitive
iirc sevish uses bitwig studio
Good on ol' Ableton for releasing a microtuner. I stopped using my copy of Live 9 a few years back so haven't tried it out yet!
