  • A chill beat with a subtle microtonal flavour from Sevish's 2021 album Bubble.
    With this upload, all of Bubble is available on my youtube channel. I've put them all in this playlist:
    • Sevish - Bubble
    There was a demo version of Dream Up that has some notable differences - I might upload this soon.

    The song always gave me that feeling of being welcomed at a futuristic hotel.

    Can you elaborate on 22edo+, and how it differs from normal 22edo? Is it just like a stretched octave?

    • @fredg999music
      @fredg999music Před 3 lety +8

      According to the description, 22edo+ means that the piece is mainly in regular 22edo, but the lead synth plays in a different, arbitrary tuning, therefore adding extra notes within the octave that 22edo doesn't necessarily cover.

    • @noidea42
      @noidea42 Před 3 lety

      It could sound interesting and 42 is a nerdy meme... In Douglas Adams' "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", a supercomputer is built to calculate the answer to "life, the universe and everything" and it's 42.
      I think Adams originally wrote some novels containing that story, but there's also a BBC audiobook-production from the 60s or 70s (which is the version I know) and I believe a film/TV-series. I think the whole thing is pretty funny and if you got the time worth checking out. (There are some crazy theories why he chose that particular number, see Wikipedia of 42...)
      Btw, your music is great!
