Twelve months ago, you were big on the safety side of scootering: Helmets, pads, etc., but there is nothing about that in this review. Also, I don't see much about charging, how long it takes to get a full charge, or what type of connection is used.

I still am about safety my friend. I always gear up when I ride the faster scooters no matter what. The smaller commuter scooters that go 15-25mph I will gear up if it's a long ride but not necessarily short rides around the neighborhood. Also you have to remember it's hard to wear a helmet and talk on camera without being extremely muffled sounding. So for videos with slower scooters I don't gear up for the video so you can understand me. The faster ones... yeah I'll gear up. Also within the past year + I have gained more experience and I am more comfortable at certain speeds. Not an excuse because anything can happen. When I ride off video, especially the fast scooters, I have elbow and knee pads, gloves, sometimes riding jacket and full face motorcycle helmet.
