Much easier to accomplish high refresh rate when 1) you draw power from the device you’re plugged into so battery optimization isn’t a necessary consideration. 2) your physical screen is .55 inches
@@57zwhat's your point exactly? If you're looking for a fair comparison, then 120Hz refresh rate has been around on android for a couple of years already and is not something exclusive of high-end or flagship smartphones

How loud are the speakers if I'm on a plane will I need headset?
Just ordered a pair and downloaded the Nebula app on Mac, can't wait to utilize it. As a Technical Writer, I operate in Chrome and Slack -- always comparing content side-by-side. I'm really hoping this will give me a bit more flexibility when I want to lounge on the couch instead of sitting at the desk.

Not really. AR and VR are completely different segments, with completely different products and features.
Looking at the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3 the market is more going towards thinner VR glasses with the ability of high quality AR features.
AR glasses are just normal glasses with displays, nothing more.
How much does the resolution affect the text? I had an Oculus Go and when I used applications as a virtual desktop, if I moved the screen away the text looked very bad or it was impossible to read it

I'm mostly interested in the Beam.
The current battery life is 3.5hrs but what if I wanted to use it for longer? I've heard from other reviews that it's slow to charge and tends to heat up quite a bit. Would it be able to handle long term usage?
Another reviewer said 50 percent in half hour.

These are best for travel, gaming, laying in bed and watching tv on the ceiling, flying drones and getting that vr fpv experience but still see it so can legally fly solo still without a spotter.
AR will take off in the future when they eye track and will be smart enough to do things like if you stare at his hat or shirt it will scan it and find it online who sells it, how much money and who wore it etc. this will be the AR of the future where AR glasses finally get mass produced like smart watches

Are they compatible with samsung S23 Ultra? And are there any scenarios using them on every day wear for working (to see instruction how to fix eletronic devices) /navigating (floating map) etc?
Hi, echo. Our XREAL Air glasses are compatible with S23, allowing you to view images or any navigation app in 2D screen mirroring mode. You can also check photos from your album in 3D mode, providing convenience for your daily work.

It is good but it don't lock the screen in the same place without buying extra beam for more than 200 dollars , that's crazy its easy to get dizzy I guess, have you tried the Viture One XR

So they are 1080 but pixel density is 4k effective because the 1080 is packed into such a small area?

They are TÜV certified so there should be not too much to worry about

Includes frames and cost me $90 online to get the prescription lenses. Totally worth it. Mostly play Steamdeck and watch movies while in bed or traveling

I am curious as to why you did not mention what it was like wearing glasses with the Xreal. I have just bought mine and I don't have thick prescription glasses but they do impede my viewing to the extent that I am thinking of sending the Xreal back. I know I can use the supplied blank frame to give to an optician but that is another £100! I would appreciate your thoughts on this.
He’s a “partner of xreal” not going to give a negative answer. It’s hard to actually find a non biased (partnership ie paid) review of this product.
I own a pair. They’re awesome. Several of my friends who wear glasses and tried mine also had experiences ranging from no problem to serious issues.

They all suck, 99% of review on YT are paid, those glasses are terrible to use
I have had these for a week and they are annoying me. The Beam sometimes expands the screen but usually doesn't. When I try to connect with the Switch it does not either. I agree, most reviewers have sold their soul to a company to promote a product. I know everyone has to make a living but not being true to yourself is the bigger crime here. I could not in all honesty review something that I was not able to review with integrity. Knowing that someone out there might throw away their money on something I said to be good would make me someone I am not. Who knows, maybe low-subbed CZcamsrs have to be this way to get to a significant amount of subscribers to be able to be more assertive with sponsors. What phones are compatible with the pro?
I got some recently, but I'm having an issue where the view feels obstructed unless I take off the nosepiece. any ideas? I'm probably going to have to return them because I can't see the entire screen clearly, I have to move them around on my face to see any corner clearly. Also I cannot get the nebula app on my current gen Samsung phone, and it just locks up.

Do you think the X beam is needed if someone wanted to use these on the treadmill? Or would it still be fairly stable when walking? I know it is a little boring, but this might make my goal of trying to lose weight a little bit easier if I can watch something while walking on the treadmill. I had also heard the X Beam reduces the frame rate from 120 to 60 or 75...

Hi, 9shihab. The screen size can be up to 330' by the Beam or Nebula app.
When you account for FOV and not being able to see the entire screen, sure the screen might be that large, but you won't be able to see it all without moving your head.

I find it fascinating how you left out the fact that the viewing angle in the version 2 is much smaller than the version 1.
Its obvious as soon as you wear them. You know this and you conveniently left it out. There are so many people complaining about this on amazon reviews. The viewing angle on the v2 is a major downgrade from the v1.

Hi, maxa. Yes, the XREAL Air glasses do support 3D mode and watching 3D SBS videos, just holding the Brightness + button for 2-3s.

How does it work and feel like?
You'll need prescription lens. Other glasses do have built-in adjustment. As I've heard them compared, one must adjust the Rokid Max a tiny bit each time they put it on, but if you have the prescription insert, no readjustment is needed.
