  • A very hungry Ottawa Pride burst up a huge Jackalberry Tree to steal the Hlambela male leopard's meal!
Lions won't often climb up trees, but if it means a free meal they won't mind at all.

Good to see sassy with the three. I hope she doesn't loose anymore. Lots going on in the lions World. Thank you for sharing. Much appreciated with respect.

This isn't new. Nobody notices that there are a total of 5 lions, including the young male with a bit of a mane. People believe what they are told, and what gets repeated, not what is actually there.

Exactly, the sub adult male was lost. The pride is now down to 4 lions. This video is old previous one. From the new recent video, the pride is NOT doing well. I can see sub adults are thinner than before. Obviously they did not eat well.

@@goldenpigebay From what I've been seeing, Skorro Jr. might be back with them, and they would need him as much as possible, for as long as possible--until the PCs go after him again.
Hopefully you saw them "thinner" between meals, but it's hard for Sassy to catch enough to keep all from starving to death. As you know, the strongest will likely get the most meat from a kill.
These cubs are strictly competitors and probably leave much for the weaker ones. Adult lions WILL SOMETIMES be easy on sick/injured weaker partners, but these cubs are fighting to grow.
Sassy needs Skorro Jr. to help her hunting almost every day--if the cubs were 6 months older, they could do more of the hunting.
