- We've had some unbelievable sightings of the 14 strong Mhangene Pride. The cubs can travel a surprisingly long distance as their mothers bring them to their next meaty meal. we've seen right in the heart of the Savanna Reserve.
We can only hope to see the cubs more and more!
So great to see the Mhangeni pride is thriving, all cubs in good health and the mothers are strong and in good shape, great update cheers
They found stability again in 2022 with the PC males, after a year of running around and fending off the Nkuhuma male--he's trying for Talamati daughters now/recently. Good luck to him! Tinya/Mfuma has cubs squabbling around her here. Have to wait for more information about the 2 new cubs, IF there are any. It's like the Ximumgwe's have allegedly had cubs recently too--again! But images tell a different story.
So happy to see this pride thriving!
Thank you so much what a great video of one of my favorite prides. Between Mhangeni and Plains Camp males the cubs are thriving i hope it continues.
Much appreciated with respect.

It's super to see the Mangheni pride with all these little ones💞 really glad for them...I hope to see the five females💞 with little ones and especially to see the PC males💞 more often with them, they need their protection so that the little ones can grow up in safety.
Awesome video
Really enjoyed that . thank you
When these cubs grow up, this will be a super-pride.
Looked like a bunch of female cubs to me?
I hope all cubs survive

Mẹ và nhiều simba đang yêu quá mong chúng được bảo vệ để lon lên an toàn❤❤❤
So the 16 year old Lioness is one of the Mapogos daughter?
She and her sister are. But they aren't that old, they were born in march 2009 in the Tsalala pride, creating the Tsalala Breakaway/Mangheni pride with their 2 now deceased sisters.
So they are "only" 14yo.
Cubs are so cute. Wish them a safe trip to adulthood. Anyone know the sex of these cubs?
Thanks
Wasn't she born in 2008?
@@scarnosemajingilane5808 No, march 2009.
아기사자조금컷네
They want milk those beautiful cubs
How many adult females in pride
Five. Two Mapogo daughters, two Maginjilane daughters and one Bboys daughter.
@@sabbrah8365 cool thanks 4 reply none of othawa male nuguva cubs survived shame
The 2 older original lionesses. They would be probably 14-15 years old, born in later 2007 or in 2008. If anyone has evidence of something earlier, just provide it, URL or whatever. One of the 2 older lionesses allegedly just had a litter of 2 cubs, which would still be in a den, probably. So, if she's in this video, she left her new cubs to share some dinner with the others, and lionesses will have to leave their dens to eat, long before the cubs come out permanently.
Is it an older lioness with brand new cubs or Tinya/Mfuma? I looked and looked here for a flopped ear on a lioness, but it's not clear enough. Do all 5 lionesses appear in this presentation? There seems to be different images not all from the dinner table, taken at different times recently. Again, this would mean a lioness could've left a den for dinner.
early 2009
@@KO-ei9db Agreed that they are not 16. Actually, born in 2009 they would be 14, in 2008, 15. So, not more than 15. Just proves that rangers/guides--especially newer ones who don't know the history of these lion prides--are not always "right."
@@private4918 They were born in march 2009 and are 14yo.
Rangers and guides have to know stuff and keep track of all animals, not only lions, and while they are privileged enough to follow them live and therefore knows a lot about what's happening, they won't be, most of the time, that knowledgeable about the history of these lions.
