- The Mhangene pride has been spending a lot of time on Savanna the past couple weeks. We have been fortunate to watch them hunting on the clearings as well as having some incredible sightings of the new young cubs. There was an interaction between the pride and the Styx and Nkuhuma Males, which ended up with the lionesses putting up a big fight and chasing them off the property. They then moved west in the property and were able to bring down a huge buffalo bull. We only had five lionesses and three of the young cubs on the Buffalo and believe the last lionesses might be to the east of the camp.
The girls look beautiful. So happy to see the older cub. This update is definitely one all will be over the moon to see. 2 baby cubs are adorable . Yay for such a great meal. Thank you very very much Savanna.
I think they know something happened but they still seem to look for the Otthawa male.Such a shame.This pride really loved him.They are cautious now.These girls are good hunters and I hope in time the Nukuma Styx and Torchwood would join this pride and become their protectors.I wish them the best and I pray these cubs grow big and look just like their dad.
A big vast of emptiness with the Otthawa male gone.I think these girls sense he is not coming back to them.I cannot believe how one looks so much like Kinkytail.Her eyes look just like her dad.I wish the best for this pride.
Comely pride💞, Tinya has grown up and the old cub too, it's nice to see ... there are lots of mimi Ottawa male / Mhangeni, it's so cute, I hope it will go well for them.....
So beautiful. So visceral. Each member of this pride is breathtaking. Lions r just enigmatic. So sad, so sad to loose the young, handsome.

New beginnings, sadly without their *King*♚Othawa💙 This shows how closely bonded they are❣️pretty Lionesses, utterly gorgeous cubs with time to play. It bears testament to their character & builds strength for all the hardships suffered & likely to continue to as new challenges arise. They have honed their skills well bringing down a tough beastly bruiser, they are well feed & look in gr8 condition. Fantastic sighting, such pretty lionesses and I must say I didnt realise that Wilderbeest could run so fast. Love seeing the little cubs interacting too. Beautiful visuals. Wow, amazing night sighting, so much action, wow again lol. Really enjoy these incredible videos, thank you Savanna.

I could see the late Othawa male through each of them. I still couldn’t believe him choosing to live life dangerously knowing he’s got the beautiful mhangeni pride on his back. But I sure do hope all the cubs survive

wonderful footage of the Mhangeni pride ... older cub looks a lot like dad ... I have the feeling it is slowly dawning upon the older lionesses their gorgeous pride male is not going to return ...
Hi can you help me understand. I don’t know the number of cubs. So there is one older cub that’s a male about one year old?
@@ochoaguillermo638 its a girl and she just over a year old being born in May 2020 ... as far as the smaller cubs are concerned I am not sure about the exact number ... reports vary from 6-9

Princess looks like her daddy. I would give anything for at least one of Princes Cubs live
She is fine right now and learning to hunt.

There are but they are 3-4 months old and will be killed during a takeover.

@@Thekellin1 I believe there is one male lion that is one year old.
@@Thekellin1 that is how the Othowa male lions earlier litter of cubs died the Othowa male lion kept eating all the food apparently. Is how two of his litters might of had died some and even the Birmingham’s cubs when he has had recently joined.

Whats the problem with mhangeni lionesses? They lost 15 cubs already made by the othawa male. Such a waste

@@Thekellin1 i remember when they abandoned the 9 mhangeni kids to death in march of 2018.
@@greatbearfromthenorth9944 yeah, they couldn't feed them. And this time they are facing a looming takeover so again no more cubs. It is indeed very sad, as the oldest girl on the video seems healthy, curious and she could be the future of the pride...
They raised no progeny for 3 years...
@@Thekellin1 the singita blog said that the mhangenis don't have the behavior of a resident pride. They moved too much like a nomadic pride with no territory. Maybe this is the reason of all cub generations death. The cubs can not hang so long walkings...the mhangeni lionesses are crazy...soon those 4 last cubs will die, unfortunatly. The othawa male was right trying to find new mothers to his sons. Too bad that the bboys were strong yet enough to killed him.
It’s mean ,mhangeni lioness was bad mother, so worry about the young cubs who are sires buy king Othawa, could them be survives? Hope they’re all make its to adulthood 🦁🦁🦁🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 last Othawa cubs must survive to continue king Othawa legacy, god bless them 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕💕💕
