@@Samford404 This is the dumbest comment I’ve read. You’re use a 5 foot guy to compare to a 7 footer XD please stay in fortnite till your balls drop kid
My favorite thing about Adam's is he could really score 20 points per game. He has great footwork, he has a soft touch. They could throw it up ti the basket. But its not in the game plan for him to score and he doesn't care. All of his coaches have said the same
I love Adams(Grizz fan) but he doesn't have 20 ppg in him. He doesn't have that good of touch or really any go to moves on the block and he's lost a lot of hops due to injury/age where he's not a vertical spacer anymore. That being said he really doesn't care about his stats and you're right. I think the most underrated aspect of his game is passing. Grizzlies have put him in a Marc Gasol esque role where he is the distributor in the high post. He has some nice bounce passes that lead to free baskets for our guards when they cut. He had 2 or 3 against the Bulls on MLK day
@@ohishwaddup I like your input, just disagree on the scoring. Shaq said the same thing about Adams. He could easily put up 20 per game. One thing is he is still only 28 a d does t put up alot of minutes. He shoots it 5 times per game, that's it. Only time he's taken 9 shots per game He averaged 14. If he averaged 17 shots per game like Karl Anthony towns that would put him around 22 per game not even counting the fact he would get fouled more. Even if he only made 4 out of 8 free-throw attempts that would put him around 25ppg.that would put him right around guys like Jokic,towns... its just not what they want him or need him to do. If guys like kareem, shaq, Duncan watch and say he could average 20 EASY, then I'm kind of inclined to believe them.
@@Dgen99 I think in those guys eras I definitely think he could I'm just talking about these days. Shaq is extremely biased to dudes like him compared to Towns who he considers soft. I haven't seen Kareem or Timmy say anything like that but if they did I would definitely trust them. I think his early development in New Zealand really held him back as far as developing a more overall game. He could always be the biggest and strongest guy on the court over there which has obviously been applicable to the NBA but he wasn't taught a lot of the skills that are taught in more basketball oriented countries to big guys like go to post moves, foul line jumpers, etc. I wonder what kind of player he could've been if he moved over here younger but then we wouldn't have his great accent and personality :). I wanna say thanks for being so respectful even if we disagree lol. Makes basketball a lot more enjoyable to discuss compared to a lot of the idiots on Facebook or Bleacher report lol
@@ohishwaddup it's so much better to have actual conversations and I agree to disagree. Only because its a numbers game. He does have a weird combo of skills for his size. The strength is a difference maker also. Like Zion(if he weren't injury prone/lazy) he is just strong. Like a whole other level strength. The issue with most big guys is usually they were always the biggest/strongest in there schools or there area. They get in the league and realize, oh this guy is stronger than me. There are a few guys though that they ARE the standard. There just isn't a player naturally stronger than he is.If you are just really that much stronger than. Even a guy like ayton or embiid that is a miss match. That's what shaq was speaking on. He is just stronger, he can sit in the paint like he does for his offensive rebounds and if he had a chris Paul type guy give him 18-20 shots per game he is going to make half of them. Players have an issue moving him and he keeps the ball high like old school centers. So guys like Joel/giannis even try to bully people. It's hard to bully someone your size who can literally pick you up like a toddler a d move you out of the way. That's why it does t seem too far fetched to me. He isn't athletic, but neither was Duncan. What he did though was keep the ball high and shoot a short shot off the glass.
Cousins must have realised Adams takes elbows to head from folks every game with zero reaction... also don't think he wanted to be the first NBA player in history to get buried by a member of the Justice League.
Adams is the type of person that when you bully him you think he will be afraid or he won't retaliate but when you try you should be scared because of its strength.
Nope , not at all , Malone , Barkley , Oakley , rodman , morning , Robinson , mutombo, Davis brothers from Indiana , Ewing , believe me , they were not weak at all

GOKU nah Kyle Lowry flop yet he’s not trynna get 40. Almost everybody flop in this league
steven adams is a professional. he mostly lets guys just throw elbows n shit but let’s admit it. if he hits back it’s over
The bro grew up fighting too
Nah not necessarily, being big or an NBA player don't mean you can hit somebody and it's over, I don't think I need to prove to you that for now NBA players have shown that if anything they got shit on fighting, K.O'd stiff by a fucking CZcamsr... What a shame man 😂

Its funny how against VC, Adams didnt seem to realize he'd been elbowed in the face lol
*I didn't recognize him with short haircut.*
He doesn't look scary with short hair
Lil bit looks like trevor XD

He turned into Jason Momoa

@@WorldOfMalong wrong clip dude lol....
@@WorldOfMalong Nah was another guy
@@WorldOfMalong cool, but it was actually CJ Williams,
Strongest player in the NBA. He never really loses his cool but if he does ya might wanna run for cover. One of my favorite players in the game.
Never a good thing to think you're so strong. There's always someone stronger.

Honestly I think you're right. Any I dude I know with either one of those who's a strong dude lol
Is this a BAKI reference?
Cousins must have realised Adams takes elbows to head from folks every game with zero reaction... also don't think he wanted to be the first NBA player in history to get buried by a member of the Justice League.
lol nice
He can summon that trident out of thin air any minute.
I love how dame and steven having a civilized convo is in this guys heated moments😂
When you’re raised on Rugby.. NBA contact is cute
It’s funny how they flop more in non-contact sports, isn’t it? See: soccer.
These should play 1 half of rugby to see some real contact
Look at american football with helmets and pads
rudvs Rugby does that without pads
Pretty much
The king of the oceans demands you step-up-eth for the challenge!!
Aquaman
f you that's right Jason Momoa
All that contact and the man never threw a single punch. Great emotion control.
The song in the beginning was so epic and it matched how it’ll be if you piss him off
He isn't scared of anyone or *anything*
Edit: is this even gonna hit 1k likes before September?
Jaden Jenkins except his sister
Oof
When you’re that size you don’t have to be
Cause he’s the GOAT.
Ian Stephenson it’s weird because his sister is an olympic shot putter for New Zealand so it is justified that he would be scared
Steven Adams proves why he is aquaman every game
Great Music. Can you tell the tracks?Steven Adams is a BEAST!!!
Adams is the type of person that when you bully him you think he will be afraid or he won't retaliate but when you try you should be scared because of its strength.
It's cool how westbrook had his back almost everytime.
Westbrook is actually looking out for the other guys.
From what I've seen. Adams is clearly the one making sure Westbrook doesn't get in a fight most of the time, only right he returns the favor
Damn right , true leader and a friend.
he was his best friend on the team after Kanter left
