Last year the first game of the season I thought was still broadcast normally even though on Peacock, because it was the season opening game.
It’s always a great game between the Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. A rivalry definitely worth watching always exciting.

TWO years ago the Chiefs had 2 new receivers (Juju and MVS) in an Andy Reid offense with Mahomes as QB and no real film for defenses to study until around mid-season... Mahomes went 5000 and 41 on the way to his 2nd League and SB MVP... Now the Chiefs have 2 new receivers in an Andy Reid offense with Mahomes as QB and no real film again... If defenses play back, Kelce will feast and Pacheco will have a lighter box to run in... If they play up, it goes over the top... Even with the defensive losses this year, this is still one of the best defenses in the Mahomes era... I can see another 5000 and 50 on the way to a 3 Pete... Just My Humble Opinion based on stats and facts...
Doesn’t matter who wins week one. Chiefs will be in the mix for another championship and 3peat. Mahomes is inevitable.

Look at the Ravens' last Super Bowl team. In 2011 they lost to the Patriots who were the weaker team in the AFC Championship in devastating fashion which was even worse than last year's game against the Chiefs. Many media members and fans across the country said that Baltimore would never recover from that loss and that Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were cooked. What happened the next year? THAT TEAM WON THE FREAKING SUPER BOWL AND KNOCKED OFF BRADY AND MANNING TO DO SO! You watch, it's going to happen again, and not to mention the Super Bowl this year like in 2012 was in New Orleans.

While it would've been good for Houston to get the Kansas City opener, I think it was the right decision. If the two teams are playing well and are among the best in the AFC by the midway point, then you schedule that as a primetime game.

I love again that the Chiefs are playing the Ravens, and they are playing them early. They will be ready, no doubt about it. Derrick Henry is good but he’s 31 years old and he has so many miles on him. The Chiefs stuffed him last time. Spags has a plan for him.

As a life long Ravens fan, i fully expect the Ravens to win week one. Maybe even convincingly. The Ravens always start really hot and blow everybody out. The Chiefs have started slow the last few years. But, once the playoffs come around, ill be feeling a lot differently.

Not good for Chiefs. Their first game is typically played like just another pre season game. They are always still trying to figure out who the team will be and leery to get their best starters injured on the first few games for good reason. I can't remember the last time Chiefs got off to a good start with the first 6 games. This is a complete waste of a great Thurs night game which should have been scheduled mid season. NFL can go pound sand on Peacock games, especially season opener games in stupid Brazil.

No, that's not the reason. Lamar is going to stay healthy unless their conditioning coach Scott Elliott turns into their previous one Steve Saunders. The reasoning is that the NFL hates the Ravens because of what Art Modell did to Cleveland, and the league wants to see them watch the Chiefs raise the banner that could have been theirs.
