Yeah, that part is soooo annoying. Especially for those of us who labored for like 3 days and then ended up with a C-section anyway. But those kids are just so adorable. Happy they added to the brood.

We’re all built differently.
Every time my mom had a baby the labor was half as long as the last one. 24 hours, to 12 hours, to 6 hours.
Seth’s wife’s labors apparently went from the length of the car ride to the hospital, to the length of the walk downstairs to the lobby, to the length of a bath.
At least she wasn’t delivered in their apartment building lobby like Axel. I LOVE Seth’s telling of that. Hilarious! Glad they were all ok, of course.

Meanwhile, my labor started the morning of my birthday and didn't end until the afternoon of the next day, best birthday present, but the worst way to spend it...

One of Seth's biggest feats is to break through the cesspool that usually occurs in CZcams comments and have it be something worthwhile. Recognizing that someone was probably just trying to be funny, but taking the time to earnestly correct them about why it's not actually funny and they should reconsider those types of comments in the future is probably one of the best ways to get someone to actually listen. As someone who used to make similar jokes, I used to think people who took offense just didn't have a sense of humor and no topic should be off-limits (and I really was just trying to be funny and not mean). I finally realized that it wasn't the topic that was the issue, it was the dismissive tone of my jokes that made people feel shitty. Taking just a moment to think about how something will be received has helped me immensely. That doesn't mean I stopped make any jokes on "inappropriate" topics (I definitely still do), but the humor should be constructive (or absurd) and the other person should feel better afterwards rather than shittier. Anyways, this turned into a far more in-depth comment than what I initially intended, but I just wanted to say that comments like yours are the reason I actually enjoy reading and engaging in Seth's comment section.
The way they genuinely enjoy each other's company and humor and eccentricities is lovely to say the least.

Seth, I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I feel such an affinity to you as we are family twins! My daughter was born after a super fast labor, my son was born in the elevator of the hospital on the way to the L&D floor (I did NOT get a comedy special out of it, just some mild local celebrity), and after the Elevator Baby we had our third child at home. Enjoy being a family of 5 (plus Frisbee), it's a lot of messes, love and laughter!

I absolutely love watching the interaction amongst Seth’s family. I especially love to look at Seth and his bother’s mannerisms, because the have so much in common, their laughs, he way they set their faces, the way thy look at people. I know, i know thy they are brothers, but not all family members look alike.
What a wonderful family! The baby was named after Seth’s mother’s mother. I could see how much that meant to Seth’s mom. It looked as if there were tears in her eyes. I am touched by how much family means to all of them. We can all learn an important lesson from the Meyers’ family.

I think Seth and his family should write a book on how to have a relaxed, tolerant, good humored, intelligent family life, highlighting loving one another and how to handle problems that arise. My family is, as are many from what I hear, so broken right now. I can only hope we come together again before I pass. I would give my right arm to have done things differently in the past.
