I feel you. I lost my mother in September from a kidney infection so this is my first thanksgiving without her. My dad is in assisted living due to Parkinson’s and dementia.
Seems like a good choice.
It never goes away but it does become easier to live with. The first year, or more to the point, the first times of doing stuff without those people are the hardest ones.

And super odd, but in a cute way.
All families have their little quirks and many have deep dark secrets, but the Meyers family just seems super pleasant and wholesome and GENUINE. Like they genuinely accept each other and laugh at each other's jokes and have each other's backs. 💟

They're practically twins! They look SO similar, but it's the mannerisms that clinch it. The same facial expressions, the same tilt of the head, the same laugh, the same tone of voice. The whole family has the same sense of humor. Seth's a lucky guy.

i look forward to this every year!!!! i always like seth a little more each time his family is on. it shows how genuine he is when he’s with them. nothing changes about how he acts when his mom is in the room.

Everybody seems to forget that Seth's brother used to be on Mad TV. It was one of my favorite shows. I'd watch half of Mad TV then switch to SNL. These two are part of why I was so proud to be from NH. I wish I had pursued a writing career when I was younger but it's too late, now. Most people don't want to hire an untested 40 year old writer but, I enjoy the title "funniest guy I know" from all the people I talk to... Unfortunately, they also find constipated dogs, blind people falling and President Frump funny so....
