By the point in the podcast I thought I'd learned the difference between Seth's and his brother's voices I discovered I was wrong
It is CRAZY how similar they sound, not just their voices but their mannerisms, cadence, even the way they tell stories and laugh. It's insane that they're NOT twins
@@cleverusername9369 I almost accidentally called them twins earlier explaining this to my mother, who's voice mine is a dead ringer for. It's funny listening to their parents voices too, trying to figure out which they sound more like! (Besides each other lol)

😎 The Meyers elders have aged so well!! And it's cool how Seth and Josh are just younger, less hairy versions of their Dad.
The Meyers parents (when they were younger) look like stars from a 1970s sitcom, especially the dad (Didn't I see him on "Welcome Back, Kotter" or was that just one of the many men's styles they had at the time?).
@@canaisyoung3601 : 😏 I've never been a big Travolta fan so rarely watched "...Kotter!" but Josh was in "That 70s Show". I think the senior Meyers look so much better now though.

We loved malapropisms, and they became a part of our conversation over the years. My husband's sister once called to say that she had installed a pair of scones over her buffet. As a result, for twenty years he was delighted when I baked him sconces for Sunday breakfast. * sigh * I miss him so much. And no children to pass them along to.
Another favorite took hold in my interior design office, when a colleague's installer had proudly showed off his latest achievement, a travestine fireplace. It became one of our favorite materials to spec.
Two crazy kids doing the best that we can...priceless.
I love that the only gripe they ever have with Seth and Josh' podcast is the story of them spilling water everywhere. =)))

I was watching Josh do a comedy bit for Jimmy Kimmel the other night, and remembered last April 1st when Jimmy Fallon and Kimmel swapped shows.. It had me fooled for a bit.
So as I'm watching Josh do this comedy bit I'm thinking it would be funny if Josh pretended to be Seth for the next April 1st show.
Even more clever if the makeup department could make Josh look like Seth, and vice versa (for Seth) as a guest to trick the audience for the show.
P.S. I love the Closer Look segments - It is my favorite part of the show.

The only way I know the difference between Seth and Josh voices, is when they talk about their dogs by name.
I had to go back and pause thrice to see the picture of Seth’s parents because I swear to god - I thought it was Seth with a wig and fake mustache- Seth is THE EXACT COPY of his father!!!

My only quibble with your otherwise excellent podcast is that Seth and Josh have such similar voices I can't always pick out which of them is talking quick enough to follow the back and forth 🤣
My sisters and I have the same problem, we all sound the exact same on the phone.

for those who become a ( victim ) of Masonic Mafia , here is some tips for recovering ( from hurting the neck ) :
1-try to remember ( one event ) , that happened to you, when you were a kid ( around 5 years old ) , an event when ( you did something good to help others )
then ( keep trying to remember this one event ) , for about one hour
2-lay down on the floor , and roll ( right and left ) , whatever the available space is ( in your room ) , keep rolling for about 10 minutes
3-repeat the steps 1 and 2 , if you feel you need more..............
