Have you ever struggled with fitting everything in your carry-on luggage? Packing carry-on only can be tough, but it doesn't have to be. In this video, I share 5 tried and true packing tips that will help you make the most of the space in your carry-on suitcase. If you follow each of these steps, you'll never have to be that person who has to sit on their bag to get it closed.
I've been a carry-on-only guy for a long time now and am happy to share some of the things I've learned through the years. I'm actually packing for a trip right now so as I walk you through these tips, I'll show you what I'm actually personally doing.

They make 2-gallon ziplock bags as well. Zip it most of the way and then squeeze as much air out as you can and then finish zipping.

I find that weight is so much more important than space. I have worked to get my suitcase, no matter the size down to 25 lbs or less. my personal bag has to be 10 lbs or less.

Those weights sound like a luxury to me. Some airlines have a maximum combined weight of carry on and personal item at 7kg, and that’s not easy. It’s great to pack light, but would be nice if they weren’t quite so strict

@@anneinauckland2318 I have never had a soft skin carry on weighed (I use backpacks and duffles).
But I will bad mouth you or straight up shoulder you out the way if you insist on taking a 30kg suitcase on the train when you can't handle it.

Love it! So glad to have watched this, I also wanted to do solo travel to places like Rome and Hawaii. I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best personal bag for travels like this. As per my experience, for carry on bags is volume a problem? Certainly not. During air travel you are allowed to carry only 7 kgs. Bag weight is 3 kg; laptop, tablet and chargers make up to 6 kgs. So what left?!! To fill something of only 1 to 1.5 kg..😢
So what we will do with all the suggestions mentioned in video.
