I loved the part where he quarb'd and granada'd all over the place AGAIN
I love how much you include a lot of the fuck ups and strategic blunders. It adds so much humour and realism and makes you seem so much more relatable
Quarbit playing my favourite nation? Sign me up!
Also I unironically dig the v-tuber, it makes you stand out as well. Helps that your voice is buttery smooth
I agree, don't get the people who are so mad about this they'd stop watching 😂
"Have you ever heard of a Granadaboo?"
Of course I know him, he's me.
I think Granada's a lot easier than it has been. You can get a not bad start if you take the new Ulema privilege that gives you negative piety to get the benefits of Mysticism (which is stronger for nations like Granada that have big strong neighbors). On top of that, Castile's not as strong because they have to contend with the near guaranteed Infantes of Aragon disaster on top of the Castilian Civil War disaster that will drain their manpower. As long as you focus Mil you'll get to Tech 4 before them, and if you're obscenely lucky you might be able to jump them when they have no allies.
Just like how as Byz you can just build a big navie, wait for Otto to attack someone in anatolia and then just naval bombard and assault Galibou, boom rhe balkans are yours
@@Leo.V I'd argue Byz is easier than Granada. The first war against the Ottos can be won without a single battle pretty easily. Granada has to engage the Castilian armies at some point in their first war. Your advantage is ideally Tech 4 vs their Tech 3, Muslim units having better pips at that stage than Western, taking advantage of Granada's mountainous terrain, and being able to afford your troop losses while Castile can't.
@@petersongames77 I agree, with Byz as you said, it can be won without even naval battles, with a big enough navie they wont even engage you, with granada you have ro wear down the iberians atleast once so you may take their important land and then spiral our of control
For some unknown reason, I love when you comment 'that's cringe' on some AI actions 😂
Granada is one of my favorites. You're actually able to pretty consistently ally both the Ottomans and France. If you win that first war against Castile/Aragon it's all uphill from there.
Welp, guess I am playing as Granada after work tonight. Thank you for a great video!
"Ever heard of a Granadaboo?"
Yes it's me, I'm the Granadaboo
Challenge idea = form Byzantium as Granada or vice versa
Byzantium's an endgame tag so it'd be somewhat hard to vice versa
@@Adventurer32 maybe as Trebizond then?
@@Adventurer32 Or Morea idk
hi!! i’m new to your channel and i’m loving it, would you ever do a video going over your opening game strategies? or maybe overall like “ten things you should be doing every game”? i’d love to know more about the specifics to crush every game like you do!
there is 2 pretty big vassals in Castile and 1 in Aragon, so better to take 1 province and then go to reqonqest to decrease ae, otherwise it is too much time taken by the coalition.
You speak of León and Catalonia right? Yes super wise to release them
I completed the Re-Reconquista achievement awhile ago with Granada, and it was absolutely painful. I lucked out with my run (Castile dumbly dec'ed on me 1v1), but the 20 runs before I got bodied every time. I had more luck doing Byz or Basque in Glory than Granada lol
Cudos to you, good sir!
Man I'm burning for that second half
I would really pay good money for some additional new mission trees for countries like Milan, Firenze, the Papal State, Granada and Italy.
Naples too, although their mission tree and ideas are super good
Btw you get a new t1 gov reform that gives you tolerance and idea cost by forming al andalus
Man accuses Burgundy of owning Sussex when he himself owns Sus smh. Also Europa Expanded has a lot of mission trees for Andalusia and Moroccan nations you should try it out
relying on allies in eu4 is absolutely devastating
0:14 Yes. us Muslims love Andalusia
classic short notice family trip experience. hope you have fun at the cottage lmao
I played Granada back before trade companies were a thing. It was kind of challenging.
Now I play Very Hard and Granada is pretty fun as a challenge. Its definitely harder than Byzantium but not as hard as subject OPMs.
Andalusaboo
Granaboo
your face is now smaller which is great, i think this is perfect. i will no longer hate
Good rolls exist but only when you don't need them at all
I’m a Granadaboo. The idea of an Islamic state in southern Spain is super cool.
yess
I've bashed my head against the rock that is trying to reform Andalucia so many times and all these YT/Streamer guys make it look it easy
don't worry, the video you're seeing is actually my 4th recording attempt but you only see the successful one
Switzerlake merc madness
A vtuber who likes paradox games i hit the lottery
Just do it as Castile, Western Tech Andalusia, just make sure to get the PU on Aragon, Portugal and Naples bf
You are my favorite V-Tuber.
Inshaallah would become Granada-boo again.
Personally, I like forming it with Morocco. You can raid all you want until you get the required provinces.
I beleive this is the hardest start.
ryukyu may be harder, but it's RNG-dependent
Yeah, Granada is so fun to play.
*"Every Muslim is a GranadaBoo"*
This is the run that has broken me the most. I have rarer and theoretically harder achievements, but I can't get further than winning the first war with Castille. Something ALWAYS goes wrong afterward for me
Off the top of my head:
>Coalitioned by france and england, they declare, run over
>Vassalise Tlemcen for a fast defensive second war with Castille, Castille gutterstomps me this time somehow, run over
>war goes right, peace goes right, ottomans call me to war versus aragon, france, and naples, I refuse and lose the ottos, Aragon and their pet Naples declare a separate war, wipe my navy, reurn my cores, run over
>war takes ages and my debt is irrecoverable afterward, run over
>manpower stacks wiped in war, win it, anyway, fire mercs to have any income, unable to defeat massive rebels, run over
I wouldve gone colonial so i have something to do while waiting for the coalition to disband
keep watching
@@QuarbitGaming no i mean full colonial with both idea sets
Nice
Hard carried with that 3 star general :P
Granada MT goes crazy with it
ngl that's some mental luck
which part?
Granada beats Castile surprisingly often.
nice
Roman Empire speedform when?
17:51 Flag sus
One time I formed Andalusia and the flipped Catholic. It was fun.
21:07 Sus
bottom right 😳😳
How the f do you get your allies on Iberia before the war or before Ceuta is sieged? theres just a cut there.. Its impossible to get help from them they cant get over.
bro you can literally watch them walk across in the video after the cut.
but the explanation is that ceuta is a fort which borders morocco, meaning it doesn't project zone of control into enemy (Morocco's) territory. I own gibraltar which it can't project into either, meaning it's actually a pretty pointless fort.
@@QuarbitGaming At 4:40 its just a cut and Even though you didnt siege Ceuta Tunis‘ army already crossed. That I cant explain this because I HAVE to Siege it before any ally can move over.
ofc ships instantly get killed
@@Toennes skill issue ig. At 4:43 you can watch tafilalt and then morocco cross over shortly after. they cross back and forth like 5 times before 5:30
@@QuarbitGaming its just Rng Funny Boy if the AI decides to move their fleet noones crossing
Actually, it's "Umayyadi-boo", not "granada-boo" ;)
Hi, I'm a granadaboo.
Granada is one of the funnest muslim nation to play
you sound like patrick bateman
I’m plz make part 2
WHERE THE FICKITY IS ROME?
I'm not going to rush my editor just so you can have it early
@@QuarbitGaming oh ok I’m sorry
The vtuber thing is scary
I promise I don't bite
Dude, PLEASE. Release vassals lol, thats why you have that ammount of AE
no
How does releasing vassals reduce AE
@@sasi5841 take one province, release a vassal from that province and then, reconquest from their cores. He had at least, 5 vassals there to do that but instead, he did that with Moroccan lands, where AE doesn't matter at all.
i legit don't get why PUs are only a Christian thing when countless nations of countless faiths have been doing that for centuries
Exactly I'm pretty sure it was a common thing among Muslim nations, the Mamluks had PUs on a shiton of nations
Don’t forget a soy network for less AE.
>Weebs?
Autodisliked. But not out of animosity to you personally. You probably understand. Great video by the way.
first
Bro just remove the virtual facecam at this point
nah, people like it more than you hate it
Day 420 pls play vic 3

I might make one more until it gets good
