Adam, congrats on your time! I’ve been sober for 5, and my employer who is a friend of mine and got me into the business is sober as well. I’m new to the industry and have had lots of ups and downs in about 2 months in, but your videos keep me going on a daily basis. I’ve done well getting lots of inspections, but I’ve struggled with leads fizzling out (people not showing up to the inspection, not calling me back, not wanting to file a claim, not being able to pay their deductible, and so on). But I have faith that I keep pushing I’ll get myself to a much better spot financially in another couple months. Thanks for all you do, pulling up one of your videos in the truck during or after a hard or discouraging day at the doors has been great for my morale.

Solid, good advice! Woukd you be able to make a vid on some do(s) and don'ts regarding safety on roofs as well as workouts to strengthen the ankles and knees (reaping from skatin', wipeouts, dirt bike crashes etc.) or pt type recs for knee pain/prevent back injuries etc. ? Losing weight now but I'm not a mt goat by nature (at 46) like some folk. Thanks again...

There's a lot of good CZcamsrs who cover physical therapy and strength training. Do a bit of digging and you'll find some super helpful stuff :) Wishing you all the best!
Is it against my constitutional right for them to create these ordinances?
I can't see how they are not. I was just asking the same thing. So what little kids can't knock on their neighbors doors to see if they want their driveway shoveled or lawn mowed without first getting a permit? That screams stupid and unconstitutional.
@SCP_BrightAlt You have to first tell them they are not allowed to be there verbally. Then if they go on your property after you tell them not to again. Then they can be trespassed. But you have to tell them first!

I just spoke with a local city official that said Florida passed a law against roofers soliciting. Senate bill SB76. Thoughts?
SB76 refers to changes in legislation limiting the different marketing techniques that contractors can use. It does not make d2d sales illegal though
Michael, Conrad is correct. And there's more. The initial bill was highly restrictive and limited what you can say. However, this aspect of the bill was deemed unconstitutional and a violation of 1st amendment rights. A federal judge backed the decision and placed an injunction on that aspect of the bill. So yes, door knocking IS allowed in FL. The only major restriction with the new law is that you can no longer offer financial rewards for referrals. So little Timmy can't knock on his neighbors door to see if they want snow shoveled, leaves picked up, mow lawn, etc. without first getting a permit? Girl scouts have to get permits before going d2d to sell cookies?
