I really appreciate these "second look" re-reviews. Not a lot of people do them and it's really valuable when large service packs release. I'd love if you were to take a second look at the Nextgensim E-110 Bandierante, there have been several improvements and a free mod that have made it a real joy for me, and I'd love to hear your thoughts as well! Same goes for the Twin Otter after major updates like the sound update they just released.
As always, love your content, no demands here from me - just keep up the great work! Every video is an instant watch for me.
I agree with you. I fly the EMB-110 as well (in the Caribbean and South America). While not perfect (and does require the mod,, IMO), it's fun to tool around the islands and Amazon jungle. Hoping the dev does release it's 2.0 version early next year as stated in it's discord.

You'd think for a display as important as the engine gauges, they'd put the brightness knob right on the panel where it's easy to find.
They're right below your right hand in the real world, it's a problem with sims
Hi all BigEngine Morris here. I like the PC 12 and it's a good work out😂, however; the 208 Caravan just seems much stable. Anyone share my slight grumpyness. I will take another look at it. Thanks for showing us showing us the PC12😊.
Yeah the Carenado one is eh, the new Simworks one is much nicer.
Great to see this plane has improved. But from what we know about the SWS PC-12 and going off of the quality of their Kodiak 100, I think it will probably be worth the wait for that version.

Its a real shame Carenado are completely money focused. They have a huge back catalogue of GA aircraft, that with the right team behind them, doing all the performance, visual, technical, and engineering aspects of their models, could really put them up there with the best of them. Yes the external modelling is great and always has been, yet the systems implementation and flight characteristics is dreadful.
Can you imagine if all of the above were rectified? We as sim pilots would be spoiled beyond our wildest dreams.
My favorite plane of theirs is the Cessna T400 Corvalis. I adore it. It was Cessna's answer to the Cirrus SR22, and went toe to toe with it, until Cessna decided it was too expensive to continue. Such a shame.
I just don't see the point of Carenado, while you can get better stock MSFS aircraft, especially now with Working Title working their magic.
Fast taxi is in part because you have the condition lever in high-idle. Should be in low idle for taxi, switching idle high idle for takeoff/flight. PC-12 is meant to be taxied in beta as well using reverser on pavement to control speed, as it will pick up speed pretty quick otherwise
The vertical speed is controlled using the same small knob that you used to increase the altitude. You need to press the centre of that small knob, then dial up your vertical speed. The rocker switch on the AP *should* work too (in the real unit) but is currently broken, because Carenado.
Thank you for revisiting the Carenado PC-12, as the initial version was really quite bad. But even in the current state, I think it lacks character. But I might be a little harsh here because I have been flying the wonderfully quirky Wilga for the last few days :D I will have to take a look at the wonderful Yendegaia Airfield.
Do not forget to visit Ushuaia nearby!
I know someone who own(ed) a Wilga. It's a great way to crash an airplane.

Hi Avangel! Greetings from Argentina! I'm glad you've chosen my beautiful homeland to fly over!
It's important that you have re-reviewed this aircraft. It has became one of my favourites since release, it cruises almost like an airliner, and takes off and lands like a bush plane! I think initial reviews were not pretty fair. I haven't had any FPS issues with this aircraft, just some of the minor bugs that were fixed recently.
The aircraft indeed taxies fast, but this time you've set fuel condition to high idle which made you taxi even faster!

Looking great! I already loved it before, but the battery drain bug kept me from using it to its full potential. And glad you found the brightness knobs for the instruments, I kept yelling at the screen "there's a knob for that!" :) Still looking forward to the other PC-12 from those who brought us the Zenith and Kodiak and hoping it will have more cabin configurations to choose from, but this one is still one of my favorites in the meantime. As for the Archer II, I have very nice memories of the Dreamfleet version from FS2004, but I doubt I'll buy Carenado's version since I already have the JustFlight Arrow and that's close enough for me. And I totally agree about liking to do other things while I'm flying long distances, although the vast majority of my flights have been less than an hour to begin with.

Couldn't agree more about the necessity of tea.
You moved the condition lever to full for start which isn't correct for most turboprops. It may also be causing your fast taxi issue. I don't own this payware, however. I'm waiting for the other developer.
Slowly, one by one, i'm learning that every youtuber i watch is into Warhammer. The Emperor is pleased, and so am i. Also, still gonna wait and see what SWS do with their PC-12. I do like the looks of this one (Especially the immensely fluffy seats do things for me, for some reason :p), but if there's another one around the corner, by the people who made the Kodiak, weeeeeeell.....

As real pc12 pilot watching sim reviewers start the plane to hurts my heart. If you want to learn hot to actually start it up proper and about the plane feel free to drop me a line. I also flew the 208.

You can adjust the brightness for the instrumentation by turning the small dials on your lower centre consol to your right.......There are 4 of them.

You're taxiing with condition lever in FLIGHT, it should be at ground idle. That's why it is taxiing that fast.
You better know the aircraft procedures before reviewing it.
I have a Logitech multipanel for autopilot and it’s so much better than trying to use a mouse.
Ive been flying it a lot more than when it was released.
it was feeling better for a bit - but I just flew it in VR last night, ( w Avidyne off ) and it was in single digit FPS in under 10 minutes. Defaulting to super low brightness on the engine gauges is lousy ( like the Twin Otter starting with bright cockpit lights on all the time ) perf was frozen so badly took me 10 minutes just to be able to exit to menus
you can turn the engine guages up, on the 3 dials above all the lighting switches (centre console at the back), but like you i was still getting the FPS issue in busy areas after an hour or 2, and im just sick struggling with it!!

I'm looking for a nice turbo prop, which would you recommend? Bear in mind I'm on Xbox so it will have to be from the market place, I'm hoping we get a little more choice with SU12 adding WASM.
Would like a version with tundra tires, skies, and floats. Someone schould make the Noorduyn Norseman before using time on one more of the same aircraft.

I fly msfs in xbox and the first time I tried this plane the vs in the ap did not work. I tried it again 3 weeks ago and it still did not work. Grrrrr the thing is the other Carenado’s I bought work perfect! Why why why

Hey AvAngel, love your channel! Could you please share your thoughts on what you believe to be the most challenging GA plane to fly? I'm hooked on the Spitfire and I'm looking for more planes that offer that sort of difficulty.
I don't own many warbirds but the p40 from inibuilds is pretty good and it's only like 20 usd. For the price it is good and fun to fly

The autopilot looks like the default one that tries to kill you on occasion and isn't terribly reliable? (like you have to do weird things with setting the altitude otherwise it nose dives hard, setting VS is a pain in the butt and so on)
I'm interested in the PC-12, might still wait for that other developer though for comparisons sake. Performance is much better now by the looks.
Considerably better yes, and it is indeed the stock nasty ap.
Well, I've been flying this aircraft a lot since release, and once you get the hang of the AP, it is very reliable, particularly in combination with the Working Title GPS. I agree though that the Altitude/VS selector is pretty awkward initially.

I'm curious what this does that the TBM doesn't do? It seems quite similar for a substantial cost.
More space and load, easier loading and better rough field performance

The other thing I do not understand is why msfs gives us flawed aircraft in xbox. They are sure not putting their best foot forward. It is a shame.

Because I’m aware, and I’ve answered before, I fly do many types that I forget for some types. Fly this many aircraft and get them all right. I always accept constructive criticism but I don’t like getting talked down to…. Just a tip 🙂
