That plane is such a beast, on every corner you feel the love of the devs for this one, and you did not even mentioned that it comes with a custom airfield scenery! An instant classic and a new benchmark when it comes to GA / bushflying flying in MSFS!
I'm a little late to the party, but I just got it today, and tested it out near Chicago. Taildraggers and me usually don't get along (the PC-6 being an exception), but the Wilga is possibly the most forgiving taildragger I've ever flown, when it comes to landing!
My first power lessons were in a Wilga 80. I loved that plane. I soloed in it after 5 hours of dual instruction. I was a glider pilot for 3 years before starting power lessons. The Wilga was our tow plane in Ontarion Canada.

Our trainer were Blanik L13. We had Pilatus B4 as our high performance single and a Grunau Baby 1930s designed single seater. The Blanik was a great glider. I eventually became a instructor.

Bought it and can't get enough. I was waiting for such a level Wilga since I got into swimming. Now I have it. What a job from makers. And every "variant" is really a different model, feels different. (So many times a variant in MSFS is only a visual thing). Handles great, with tonz of extras... Christmas came early this year

An absolutely fantastic aircraft, beautifully modelled inside and out, great sound, great flight behavior and tons of bells and whistles. The paddle for the float plane is perfection and a literal game changer. I need the paddle mode as an addon for all float/amphibious planes now!
This beauty shows that with enough engine, aerodynamics are no longer a concern. And I absolutely love it.
I bought it when the "website hack" happened and the release was an hour earlier :) It really is a complete package. It may turn out like some of my other $55AUD planes to be a hangar queen, but in the meantime I know I've supported a great team who have done some very quirky things with their aircraft.... it's excellent !

This has become my favourite bush plane, within 5 mins of flying her.
Typical GF quality and extra's included, an absolute stunner.
The pure joy you had with this sold it for me (not that it was a hard sell, the Got Friends group is the best fun/$ I've spent in the sim)

The 1990s paper cup livery on the float version cracked me up. There are so many good planes coming out lately I'm bummed I can't play right now (rotator cuff surgery == arm in a sling for 6 weeks), so I'm living vicariously through my favorite CZcamsrs.
If you mean the blue with purple squiggly line, that's my favorite livery for it!
you also get the custom scenery at FoxWood included, it is one hell of a good deal and so much fun to fly :)
Its a fantastic addon, never thought I`m gonna see Wilga in any flight sim but here it is!

1992 Jazz design livery on floats.. that really makes me nostalgic.
Its Jelenia Góra airfield and Jeżów Sudecki. Like 100km from my house. I have some pics from 90's with Wilga when I was like 7 years old, at EPMR airfield.
I live near EPJG and EPJS and I'm so envy that PC users has scenery for those aerodromes. Can't wait to buy Wilga when it's released on marketplace.
My dream is to have a perfect bush plane in the sim, by perfect, I mean all the things in this plane! Im buying!
Is the Milviz/Blackbox PC-6 Porter not a bush plane? I know it's got STOL capability, and beta flight capability. It feels on par or better in terms of quality I think?
Gotfriends as per usual, have created and gifted us with an aircraft that is incredibly versatile and true to life flight dynamic but as a topper they have created a most entertaining aircraft. Certainly deserve a bush flying group based around it. Well done Avangel and Gotfriends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like her. It has some peculiarities and is something different than a Cessna. I can recommend them. The STOL properties are cool.
They or a third party did a horizontally opposed flat 4 or 6 engine version, that would be a nice addition….another great video thanks…. Laurie. NZ

Can you do a video on how you figured out the setting for the drone camera ? I am still struggling with it !
She used a controller. The keyboard controlls are very awkward, but it's easy if you have an Xbox controller or something hooked to your PC.
I don't know if I've mentioned it, but the correct expression is "without further ado" (ad-oo), not "adieu" or "adue". It's 'ado' as in "Much ado about nothing". The Shakespeare reference is very appropriate here, as he created the word (Google "English words created by Shakespeare" - there are dozens!).

Awesome video, thank you. Dumb question - how do you actually do the walk around? I’ve never worked it out properly with the drone camera controls (I really struggle with the movement controls)
I use my controller to move around in it, press insert to switch to that mode, no controller? numpad works too.

You basically need to use an Xbox controller. It's much easier.
thanks @@en0n126. I don’t have a controller (and haven’t had a chance to try yet) - but hoping that keyboard numpad would work like @avangel suggested? I just can’t get the hang of using the R, Y keys etc.

Am I mistaken, or was the Oil Temp showing zero for both flights? Either way, a nice video of what looks to be a fun little plane.
Because she doesn’t follow a checklist, you need to flip a switch to provide power to each instrument

The flap handle says 2th and 3th instead of 2nd and 3rd. Very minor typo bug but I did see it, and I never spot things like that. Now if it's supposed to be 2th and 3th then I guess I'll eat my words. Thanks for the review!
It may well be, remember the original aircraft and a lot of markings are in Polish.
A faithful reproduction of the original flap lever which has exactly the same typos. Enjoy your breakfast ;-)
How the heck do you play the guitar. I can't figure out how to get out of the cockpit without going into external view which does not allow you to interact with the guitar. I can't figure it out at all.
switch the internal views till it goes to the front one, and click the guitar :D
Visually beautifully modeled airplane. As always a most enjoyable review. Not sure I understand 450hp and 100 mph? Short off capabilities with that hp must be amazing.
It's not the most aerodynamic, just like the turbine beaver and otter, cruise speed doesn't move much as structural loading is a factor, BUT, more weight capacity and better takeoff and landing performance is.
Thanks! To chime in, with the largest engine of 450HP you'll have a cruise of 117kts (max level speed 136kts). The smallest (default Wilga) engine is 98kts (max level speed 115kts)
Also does anyone know how to turn off the smoke generator when the engine is on? It doesn't allow you to toggle it off?

Even if this plane wasn't as awesome as it is, I would buy it anyway to support Got Friends who have given us 5 aircraft for free (The fact the Wilga is actually fantastic is just a bonus)

@@AvAngel. You spoke well of the Wilga and also added some thoughts on Bindings (on Discord, i think).
Do you know if there is a table summarizing the Bindings ? (Different planes use a variety of Bindings for seemingly simple functions - I am just trying to avoid the lengthy process of guessing…)
It looks cool except the landing has no bounce or suspension movement. It looks as though it sucks itself to the ground and stays there. That needs to be fixed. Not realistic at all. I'm sure they will if it's an actual issue. Got Friends has some awesome products.
I still played fsx till recently when i got s better computer I'm looking for an add on simillar to a2a airplanes can someone who plays fs2020 tell me which plane comes closest to a2a aircrafts?
Right now, quite a few are full depth simulations... The Newer Flying Iron aircraft, this, the Milviz 310, the 414 and a few others.
Was very "Meh" to start with.....but changed to a "Must buy" by the end !
It certainly has a price to it but cheaper than DCS planes

Sim is still a little derpy at times, overall FPS was good, just a little unpleasant now and then... That I blame more on the sim.

Draco is based on a Wilga 2000, which is a newer production of the 35A. Got Friends have also said they're not going to do it (Draco) unless Mike is fully on board. And so many have tried to make it (With or without permission), I don't think Mike is very keen to work with most developers. And for a one-off aircraft like Draco, you want the owner on your side as to not step on others toes.
You shpuld play dcs. I think you would be so good at it

That's what realism mode is for. Mistreat the engine and you'll end up on the ground somewhere.
@@Rotornut44 really? There’s no indication on Got Friends site. Maybe some other failures would be welcomed, but it’s a start in a poor simulated failure world of aircrafts. Maybe I’d to watch carefully the video. Thanks.

Not really, The airliner jocks pay 50-90$ for addons... 35 is good for what you get out of this in terms of variety and ability, other games are worse!
